Chapter 82 - A Visit

There were even people in the world chat offering outrageous prices — saying that if Joker was willing to join their squad, he'd take at least fifty percent of the total mission profit.

In a four-person mission, that was a stunning offer.Normally, only the team leader got around twenty percent, while the others received even less.

But a driver that strong could save the team half their time —which was exactly why among the four of them, Han Yu's bounty was the highest.

A great car was one thing; without a proper driver, you'd end up like those poor guys who flew off the track every time they hit a corner.

The three of them played all through the night. The next morning, Han Yu's phone rang.

He didn't have a free hand to pick it up — still racing in-game — so he simply snatched the phone, answered it, and wedged it beside his headset.

"Stark? What's up — your smart robots acting up again?"

Only a few people even knew this number.Besides his teammates, there was only Tony Stark. So Han Yu didn't have to guess twice.

Hearing that, Ultron, sitting nearby, instinctively turned to glance at Han Yu.

"No, no," Stark replied. "I just wanted to say I'm bringing someone over to your shop to pick up a few things. You there right now?"

Stark sounded unusually relaxed — apparently Vision's development was going smoothly.

"Sure," Han Yu said lightly. "But I'll say this now — my stuff isn't something just anyone can buy."

"Got it. We'll head over right away."

Click — the line went dead.

"Finish this match quick," Han Yu said to the others. "We've got customers."

"Need us to handle anything?" Ultron asked.

"Nah. You guys stay here and keep playing. Stand by — I'll take care of it."

They all nodded. When business called, they didn't fool around.Work was work, games were games. If they distracted Han Yu and got themselves kicked out of this setup, they'd never find such a fun place again.

By the time their mission ended, about five minutes later, a faint ringing echoed downstairs — the familiar chime of a wind bell.

The sound was light and delicate — meaning the visitor wasn't particularly powerful, but definitely not ordinary either.

"Alright, I'm heading down," Han Yu said, logging off and returning to his small apartment.

Outside, a sleek black sedan pulled up in front of the shop.Three men stepped out in casual clothes — Captain America, Tony Stark, and Nick Fury.

"So this is the 'A Certain General Store'? Huh… simpler than I imagined."

Fury's single eye scanned the shop up and down. The exterior was plain — just a small single-room storefront.Above the entrance hung a wooden signboard that read: A Certain General Store.

The only other decoration was a little wind chime hanging from the right side of the sign.

From the outside, it looked utterly ordinary —and yet Fury knew this tiny place housed things powerful enough to destroy a planet… or even a galaxy.

"Don't get careless, Fury," Captain America warned."This isn't a place for jokes."

"I know, I know," Fury muttered. "Just saying."

"Alright, gentlemen," Stark interrupted."A word of advice — watch your tongues once we're inside. Don't act like Thor did last time and piss him off, or we can forget about this deal."

Han Yu was the kind of man who could casually lift Mjolnir, the hammer even they couldn't budge.Even Stark didn't dare claim friendship — he'd only bought from Han Yu once.Their last "gathering" hadn't exactly ended pleasantly either.

"We understand," Fury said flatly.

"Then why are you even here?" Stark shot him a look."I said I'd bring Steve, not you. What are you tagging along for?"

"Because if you end up buying some weird artifact again," Fury said, "I'd like to know about it ahead of time — plan contingencies, avoid… surprises."

"Whatever," Stark groaned, rolling his eyes.

He pushed the door open and stepped inside, Captain America following behind, with Fury quickly slipping in after them.

Inside, they found Han Yu facing the shelves, calmly arranging items. When the three entered, he didn't even turn around — just smiled faintly.

"Mr. Fury, Mr. Rogers — welcome to my humble shop. First time here, isn't it?What can I get you today?"

The fact that he recognized them without even looking made the three exchange glances.Even though they'd known how powerful Han Yu was, seeing it firsthand still left them awed.

"Steve has an overseas mission coming up in a few days," Fury began."We'd like to upgrade his gear. You can handle that, right?"
