Two hours later, Lin Chen quietly returned after checking on Lola, who looked exhausted but was sleeping soundly.
Back in the room, Diana appeared to be sleeping deeply. When Lin Chen saw that she hadn't noticed anything, he finally let out a sigh of relief.
The next morning, the four of them had breakfast together. Lola's mood seemed much better, and from time to time, she couldn't help glancing at Lin Chen.
Before long, four people arrived at the gate.
Laura hurried out to greet them.
Lin Chen and the other two followed. The woman leading the group was stunningly beautiful—so beautiful it was almost excessive. She had a cool, aloof temperament, yet carried an unmistakable seductive charm.

Malena yanked her hand free and glared at him."Daoist Lin, you don't seem very proper."
Lin Chen glanced at himself and smiled."I'm doing just fine."
Laura stepped in and said pointedly,"The Daoist is in great shape—those abs!"
Realizing everyone was staring at her, she hurriedly added,"I saw it on a livestream! The police misunderstood!"
Malena shook her head."Why are you panicking? We didn't even ask."

Lin Chen kicked him away more than ten meters. Paul rolled several times before finally stopping.
Lin Chen stomped his foot."Hey, I don't want these shoes anymore. That won't be contagious, right?"
Paul nearly vomited blood. He struggled to his feet and charged again.
Lin Chen waved his hand."I bet you won't even make it over here."
Paul roared angrily and ran—only to trip over a stone, flying forward and landing directly in front of Lin Chen on his knees.

Paul tried to stand, slipped, and fell again.
Laura whispered,"Malena… is this really the strength of a Holy See adjudicator?"

Lola hurriedly smoothed things over. Malena instructed her to pack immediately—she would head to the airport at noon and fly back to Europe.
Paul knew he couldn't beat Lin Chen. All he could do was glare at him resentfully.
Since there was still some time, Lin Chen decided to start a livestream. After all, once Diana's personal matters came up, free time would be hard to come by.
He set up his phone and opened the stream.
"Dear friends, we meet again today."
The barrage quickly flooded in.
Everyone was shocked, questioning why the Taoist priest was being so diligent today.
