She brought the three of them to a shabby airstrip. "Wait here. I'll talk to my friend."
She walked over and whispered with a Black pilot.
"What? 10,000 USD? Why don't you just rob us! It can't be more than 2,000."
"Miss, that's not much. Four people, and such a big guy—overweight. At least 8,000 USD."
"3,000!"
"6,000!"
In the end, they settled on 5,000 USD.
Daddario came back happily. "This pilot is too shady. He asked for 20,000 USD, but I negotiated it down to 8,000."
