Hold him tightly." She held the wall with her right arm for support.
"I am so sorry I am a burden for you both."
"It's fine, brother, what exactly started this smoke is what is baffling me?" Marie replied.
"I don't know, but try your best not to remove the face mask. The air is poisoned." Vanessa warned.
"The entrance door is locked. Everyone, head to the basement for safety, and make sure you wear your masks." A security man yelled.
"Vanessa, did you hear that?" Marie asked.
"Yes, I did." She answered. "How could anyone lock the hospital's door, could this be a plot to kill everyone present. Who could be behind this?" She thought.
Beside them, a woman without a face mask slumped on the ground.
Vanessa rushed to her aid.
"Vanessa we can't do that now, let's go," Marcel ordered.
"There is no way you can save her, even if you want to. We should hurry." Marie added.
She clenched her fists and stood immediately, joining Marie to support Marcel's arm.
