10880 Malibu Point, a villa perched on the edge of a cliff.
Inside the villa's lab, holographic projections of buses, passenger planes, and other objects floated silently in the corners of the room.
Recently, Tony Stark had announced his venture into the energy sector, and shortly after, he announced his expansion into other energy-related fields, such as digital appliances and transportation.
As a result, Tony Stark had been busy designing various technological products lately, even skipping the faction war activity.
After nearly half a month of intensive work, Tony Stark was about to complete everything.
At the same time, Pepper had finished setting up the new department and constructing the factory, ready to start operations at any time.
At this moment, Tony Stark, dressed in a suit, stood next to the workbench. He held a glass filled with cola and ice cubes in his left hand, resting it against his chest. He tilted his head slightly, biting gently on the straw, and mumbled something as he slowly sipped the cola.
Phil Coulson watched the holographic projection floating above the workbench. His right hand moved back and forth, either removing or adding components to the holographic image.
After a few minutes, the holographic image of a small spaceship was assembled, floating silently in mid-air.
Pushing the speedboat aside, Tony Stark instructed, "Jarvis, test..."
"Of course, sir." The mechanical voice echoed in the room, and Jarvis began a simulated test of the small spaceship.
Placing the glass on the table, Tony Stark opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by a "beep" from the terminal, and a message entered his mind.
It was a message from Akihiko Kayaba: Someone here wants to buy a Support-type android.
Hearing this, Tony Stark walked into the garage and used the terminal's transfer function to send a Support-type android to Akihiko Kayaba.
After finishing his business, Tony Stark was about to return to the laboratory to draw the design for a medium-sized spaceship when Jarvis's mechanical voice suddenly sounded in the garage.
"Mr. Stark, Agent Coulson says he needs your assistance urgently. He's at the mansion's gate right now."
"Coulson?" Tony Stark frowned, thinking for a moment. Then he asked, "Who's that? Do I know him?"
"He's the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent you met twice, the first time was..."
Jarvis's reminder was only half-finished before Tony Stark remembered a middle-aged man with a receding hairline. He immediately interrupted, "Stop! Don't say any more, I remember."
"What does S.H.I.E.L.D. want with me?" Tony Stark wondered aloud.
As he walked towards the living room, he pondered the reason for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s visit. Perhaps they wanted to invite him to join the Avengers, or maybe something else... in short, there were many possibilities.
Entering the living room, Tony Stark was quite interested in why S.H.I.E.L.D. was contacting him. So, he said, "Alright, I'll see him. Jarvis, let him in."
"Very well, sir," Jarvis replied.
.........
Five or six minutes later.
Phil Coulson walked into the living room and greeted, "Hello, Mr. Stark, it's been a while."
"Hmm." Tony Stark nodded slightly in response, and went straight to the point, asking, "Tell me, what's this urgent matter you mentioned?"
"Alright." Phil Coulson began to explain, "Three days ago, a hammer fell to New Mexico during a thunderstorm. The hammer is immovable, according to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s tests…"
After a brief introduction of the hammer's situation, Coulson handed Tony Stark a USB drive. While Tony Stark was looking through the contents of the USB drive, Coulson brought up another matter.
"Yesterday, a burly man broke into S.H.I.E.L.D.'s temporary base where they were studying the hammer, trying to pull it out, but he failed…"
Coulson paused for a moment and said, "That burly man claimed to be Thor…"
Speaking of which, Tony Stark already knew why Phil Coulson was looking for him.
In S.H.I.E.L.D.'s eyes, he had connections with certain aliens and knew about the relationship between aliens and mythological legends.
Therefore, when they couldn't solve something related to mythological legends and aliens, S.H.I.E.L.D. thought of Tony Stark.
"Thor..."
Tony Stark looked at the virtual screen in mid-air, which displayed various images of the hammer and Thor.
"Mr. Stark, do you know him?" Coulson asked.
"I know him, sort of." Tony Stark nodded slightly.
Although his previous statements about the relationship between mythological legends and aliens were mostly fabricated without any basis, he did know something about Norse Mythology.
As someone who knew the future, Tony Stark knew he had an alien teammate. That alien was the Norse god, Thor, and he knew what Thor looked like.
The dejected-looking, burly man in the photo was roughly eighty to ninety percent similar.
"So he..."
Before Coulson could finish his sentence, Tony Stark interjected, "Maybe Thor, but we need to verify."
The moment the words left his mouth, Tony Stark suddenly thought of Odin in the group.
In Norse Mythology, Odin was the Allfather, and Thor's father.
But that wasn't the key. The key was...
"Will he be in the same world as me?"
Tony Stark suddenly wanted to ask, but didn't plan to do so right now.
He looked at Phil Coulson, "Tell me the address of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s temporary base in New Mexico. I plan to go see Thor tomorrow."
"Understood." Coulson used a small notebook he carried with him, wrote down the address on one of the pages, and then tore it off and placed it on the coffee table.
Nodding slightly towards Tony Stark, Coulson turned and walked towards the door.
Tony Stark walked to the coffee table and glanced at the contents of the paper, saying, "Jarvis, add it to the memo and remind me tomorrow."
"Yes, sir," Jarvis replied.
As dusk approached.
The setting sun cast its lingering glow upon the ocean, painting the water in hues of gold, a sea seemingly made of the precious metal.
Meanwhile, Akihiko Kayaba, Steve, and Bucky returned to the villa.
"Stark, what's this?" Akihiko Kayaba asked, picking up a piece of paper from the coffee table, his curiosity piqued.
"The address of Thor," Tony Stark replied without hesitation.
"Thor?" Akihiko Kayaba placed the note back on the table and shrugged. "Never heard of him."
With that, he walked towards the sofa by himself.
Bucky and Steve approached Tony Stark. As individuals who also knew of the future, they were aware of Thor, one of their future teammates.
However, they were unsure if the Thor Tony Stark referred to was the same one they knew, so they planned to ask for clarification.
