After leaving Urahara Shop, Isshin Kurosaki strolled along the sidewalk, his hands shoved into his pockets, the evening city reflected in his eyes.
The setting sun dipped towards the horizon, casting a golden glow over the city, and the shadows of buildings stretched out slowly.
The sparsely populated streets, bathed in the dim yellow light, seemed to be a crossroads between two worlds.
This was the time of day when demons were said to walk.
Isshin Kurosaki's thoughts drifted, pondering the circumstances of his wife, Masaki Kurosaki.
If a soul was devoured by a Hollow, it meant complete annihilation, with only the remnants of the spirit possibly remaining.
So, the necessary condition would exclude resurrection items for "souls," and other resurrection items…
I don't seem to be sure any of those would work!
Isshin Kurosaki scratched his head, completely unsure what type of resurrection item to choose.
"I'll ask Boss Mu tomorrow."
There were two reasons why he couldn't ask now.
First, he had to be home before seven o'clock in the evening, otherwise, he couldn't be sure if Ichigo had come home on time.
Second, he had to discuss something with the children, regarding the Dimensional Shop.
After all, Masaki had passed away six years ago. If he brought a resurrected Masaki home without explaining things beforehand, he felt he would definitely be subjected to a domestic beating.
Thinking this, a bead of cold sweat rolled down Isshin Kurosaki's forehead.
When he reached the door of his home and saw the words Kurosaki Clinic, he immediately thought of a Silver-haired, Stoic Glasses-wearer.
"I should probably tell him! If he misunderstands, I'll be chased to the ends of the earth..."
"I also need to give him a Terminal. I need to figure out how to get another one."
Isshin Kurosaki rubbed his short hair and opened the door to walk inside, "There's quite a bit I need to do!"
The flow of time differs between worlds. The Dimensional Shop allows synchronization with any world's time flow, and Mu Yang chose his hometown.
The time was 18:25, dinner time.
After a moment's thought, Mu Yang decided to eat at a restaurant. Although he could buy any food in the shop, eating alone was a bit lonely. Eating at a restaurant meant more people, a better atmosphere.
"So, where should I eat?"
As someone with a hard time making decisions, Mu Yang hesitated for a moment. He opened the group chat and happened to see Gintoki Sakata posting. It immediately reminded him of two rather unique dishes.
The Uji Gintoki Rice Bowl – red bean rice bowl, and the Hijikata Special Rice Bowl – mayonnaise rice bowl.
"That sounds interesting. Let's go to Kabukicho."
Mu Yang suddenly became interested and immediately headed towards Kabukicho Ichibangai.
Kabukicho Ichibangai could be called a street of food, drink, and entertainment.
Mu Yang landed beside Gintoki Sakata.
In a corner of a dessert shop in Kabukicho Ichibangai, Gintoki Sakata was eating strawberry cake while chatting with the group members.
At this moment, he put a spoonful of cake in his mouth. Before he could take the spoon out, a blue light flashed before his eyes, and a familiar handsome man appeared in the seat across the table.
"Pfft—!"
Gintoki Sakata's eyes widened the moment he saw the handsome young man, and he spat out all the cake in his mouth. The small, delicate iron spoon spun through the air along with the cake, heading straight for Mu Yang's face.
Clang!
An Energy Barrier instantly appeared, deflecting the spoon and the mess.
"Are you that excited to see me?" Mu Yang said, glancing at the mess and the spoon. A flash of light erased them.
"You startled me with your sudden appearance, that's all," Gintoki Sakata said, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead. He placed his right hand over his chest, feeling his heart pounding wildly.
When he spat the cake at Boss Mu earlier, his heart rate had spiked to over 200 beats per minute, almost allowing him to grasp a Stripe.
Even now, his heart rate hadn't returned to normal.
Seeing Gintoki Sakata's startled expression, Mu Yang suddenly remembered a saying: scaring someone can actually kill them.
"Then I'll change my entrance next time."
Although Mu Yang possessed resurrection magic, it wouldn't be a problem even if he scared someone to death. But scaring a customer to death wasn't ideal.
"It's fine if you don't change your entrance, but please give me a heads-up before you come."
Gintoki Sakata felt his heart rate returning to normal, so he lowered his right hand and looked at Mu Yang curiously, asking, "Boss Mu, do you have something you need today?"
"I'm going out for dinner. Are you interested in joining me?"
Faced with Mu Yang's invitation, Gintoki Sakata looked out the glass window at the bright sunshine.
Then he turned to look at the clock hanging in the shop. The time was 12:23.
Although he knew that the flow of time differed between worlds, it was still a bit odd to hear someone say they were eating dinner at noon.
The urge to retort was swallowed back by Gintoki Sakata, who then said, "I'm interested."
"I don't know much about Kabukicho, so you can lead the way," Mu Yang said. "I want a roadside shop that looks ordinary but actually serves incredibly delicious food."
"Uh..."
Gintoki Sakata was slightly stunned, and then began to think about whether there were any shops in Kabukicho that met this requirement.
After two or three minutes, Gintoki Sakata weakly raised his hand. "Boss Mu, I'm a great cook. How about I cook for you myself?"
As a freeloader who wandered around Kabukicho all day, he, Gintoki Sakata, could be said to know Kabukicho like the back of his hand. He could confirm that there were no restaurants in Kabukicho that met Boss Mu's requirements.
Although Gintoki Sakata didn't say it directly, the meaning of his words was already very clear.
Mu Yang nodded slightly and said, "Ramen shops, do you have any recommendations?"
"Yes." Gintoki Sakata nodded and said, "I'll take you there right away."
Gintoki Sakata went to the cashier first to pay, and then led Mu Yang to the ramen shop he recommended.
Walking along the street, about twenty minutes on foot, the two arrived in front of a ramen restaurant called "Hokuto Shinken."
"Boss Mu, this is the ramen shop I recommend," Gintoki Sakata said, pointing at the shop.
Mu Yang looked at the familiar shop name, and some memories surfaced. The ramen restaurant "Hokuto Shinken"'s owner, Kimiko Nishiki, was the young miss of the kimono shop "Nishikiya," and had once saved Kotaro Katsura, who was being pursued by the Shinsengumi…
In the midst of the memories, Mu Yang and Gintoki Sakata walked into the shop, and a clear, cheerful voice rang out.
"Welcome." Following the usual greeting was a familiar tone, "Gintoki, long time no see. I heard you've gotten rich?"
"Sort of. I've actually made some money recently," Gintoki Sakata said, walking to the bar and sitting down. "He's my boss," he said, pointing at Mu Yang.
Hearing this, Kimiko Nishiki immediately turned her gaze towards Mu Yang. Mu Yang met her eyes and said, "I'll have a bowl of Soy Sauce Tonkotsu Ramen, medium noodle firmness."
