After surviving Victor and his forces, thanks to Selena's ritual, Maya is now calm and not reacting to any darkness in her again.
Some days later, the pack discovered a very huge secret they didn't even expect. Orion had been feeding Victor information ever since.
"I don't believe this, Orion… he has been playing both sides." Maya said in a low voice, holding the document in her shaking hands.
Asher stepped across the room, his jaw tense, his fists held together.
"He has been feeding Victor information and smiling to us like he's some wise Alpha. We trusted him, so I also let him sit at my council table." His voice was filled with unstoppable rage.
"And now he is waiting… waiting for us to fall, so he can take over what's left of Shadow Creek." Maya breathed hard.

"Enter." Asher's head snapped toward it.
