Lucifer of course recognized the Space Stone; Marvel and DC had crossed over plenty of times.
He nodded. "The Infinity Stones are basically condensed rules; that'll work."
Fang Yuan grinned. "Show me how!"
"Hmph!" Satan tilted his head. "Take me as your master!"
"If you don't, I'll shut down your stream!" Fang Yuan shot back.
"You dare?!"
Lucifer glared, then turned away. "I won't stoop to your level."
"Just put the Infinity Stone next to the divine spark," he said.
Fang Yuan was stunned. "That's it?"
"You think a divine spark is complicated?" Lucifer sneered. "With your current strength, it'll take a while to merge the Space Stone's power."
Fang Yuan pressed, "How long?"
"A dozen years for basic use; full fusion, at least two centuries."
Hearing Satan's answer, Fang Yuan actually relaxed—he'd feared the fallen angel meant millennia.
"Two hundred years… not bad," he muttered.
Suddenly Lucifer leaned in until their noses almost touched, giving Fang Yuan a fright.
"Let me warn you," Lucifer said grimly, "you're not spending those two centuries in my World—I'm not waiting forever."
"Only when you're stronger can you take me vacationing through more Worlds!" he admitted.
That was why Satan gave the method for free.
Fang Yuan could've experimented himself, but without a big-shot's endorsement he'd never feel safe.
Yet if one Infinity Stone needed two centuries, wouldn't all six take over a millennium?
Fang Yuan clicked his tongue privately—long indeed.
"Can I fuse several stones at once?" he asked.
"Sure—if your body can take it," Lucifer confirmed. "Strong enough and you could stuff an entire World inside."
"Time to head back to Marvel," Fang Yuan thought at once.
But no rush—first he'd let Satan finish this vacation.
"Do whatever you want; stop interrupting my speech prep," Lucifer said, shooing him.
"In a few days I'm preaching at Saint Patrick's Cathedral."
"Saint Patrick's Cathedral?"
Fang Yuan's brows twitched—it was New York's top church, and the Lord of Hell was going to preach there?
You might as well declare God dead.
But in the shameless World of The Boys, God staying dead might be the bigger disgrace.
Since Lucifer didn't need company, Fang Yuan was happy to roam free.
Hanging out with cute girls like Starlight and Kimiko beat escorting a middle-aged wage-slave on holiday.
He returned to the Seven Tower.
Starlight was at a fan-sign; Kimiko, however, waited on the 99th floor—inside Fang Yuan's own suite.
"Miss me that much?"
"Where have you been this week?" Kimiko asked silently.
She still couldn't speak aloud.
Only then did Fang Yuan realize: his return synced to the moment he'd left, but afterward he'd vanished another week to the X-Men World helping Apocalypse pull up his pants—without telling anyone, worrying those who cared.
He stroked her hair. "See? I'm back safe."
Fang Yuan's eyes slid sideways. "Perfect—no one to disturb us now."
With a wave he cast a Mirror Dimension inside the suite; nothing that happened within would leak out.
Kimiko knew exactly what came next, but she only lowered her head, shy and wordless.
It had been years since their last "emotional exchange"; the reunion carried its own special flavor.
That evening the two emerged and were instantly surrounded by Vought staff—Starlight, Maeve, and A-Train at the front.
"Fang, you're back!"
Starlight rushed over, claiming one arm while Kimiko held the other.
"Where did you go?"
"Ran into some trouble—don't worry, I'm fine," Fang Yuan soothed.
A-Train's gaze drifted to the only heroine still unclaimed.
"Huh?" Maeve met his stare and scowled. "Surprised I'm not throwing myself at someone?"
Cornered, A-Train quickly straightened and looked away—he couldn't beat Maeve.
Maeve watched the blissfully smiling Starlight and Kimiko, her own feelings mixed.
She was no prude; she'd sampled men and women alike. Seeing two-thirds of The Seven's heroines in Fang Yuan's bed stirred something like jealousy.
"Big brother, you're back!"
A delighted shout rang out—Fang Yuan's dear little brother.
Homelander arrived; the crowd parted so he could stride straight up to Fang Yuan.
"Where did you go, big bro? I thought Black King had come for revenge!"
To Fang Yuan, over a decade had passed since he left, but to Homelander the Black King's raid with The Boys had been only last week.
Fang Yuan blinked, then nodded firmly. "Exactly—evil Black King launched a vengeful attack!"
"I barely escaped their clutches after a tough fight!"
To avoid lengthy explanations, he dumped the blame on… his own alt account.
Isn't that what sock-puppets are for?
Homelander's face darkened. "Those Boys are asking for death!"
He ground his teeth; if any of them showed up, his heat vision would incinerate them on the spot.
Fang Yuan tossed his pawn-turned-little-brother a lifeline. "No worries—I wiped them out and gained a new power in the bargain!"
Energy flared in his palm, blossoming into a Portal that opened straight onto a beach.
Learning he'd profited from disaster, everyone finally relaxed.
"We still can't locate Black King, but we've picked up Cindy's trail and are tracking her," Homelander reported eagerly.
Fang Yuan clapped Homelander's shoulder, habitually murmuring a succubus line: "It's fine—I believe in you."
Sure enough, Homelander beamed instantly.
