Chapter 120 - CHAPTER 124

The Undead Army Arrives

Marika, standing nearby, transformed as well. Guided by the two vampire brides, the three of them flew into the distance.

During their flight, Xu Mo stretched out his hand and waved lightly. A stream of black air shot from the bodies of the two women and sank into the Dark Divine Book between his eyebrows. This was the mark Dracula had left on them—obviously intended to prevent their escape.

A moment later, guided by the two brides, they arrived above a small town. Xu Mo immediately sensed the presence of vampires, concentrated in a massive castle perched on a cliff outside the town.

Landing in front of the castle, the gates slowly opened. A pale-faced man in a black robe stepped out.

"Welcome, my bride!"

Seeing Xu Mo floating in the air, his expression froze.

"Who are you?"

Xu Mo smiled. "You can understand this as me coming to steal the bride."

Dracula's face darkened. "Just you? You're overestimating yourself!"

He waved his hand. A roar erupted from the castle as a werewolf leapt out, blocking Xu Mo's path.

Dracula ignored Xu Mo and turned his attention to Ariella and Marika. "Come back to the castle. Help me grow the vampire family. One day, vampires will rule the world!"

The two women did not obey. Instead, they stayed close to Xu Mo, instinctively seeking protection. Though now powerful vampires, they still felt fear when facing the ancestor of vampires.

Dracula's anger flared. He gestured to the werewolf beside him.

"Kill him!"

The werewolf roared and pounced. Xu Mo remained calm. He flicked his right finger, sending a subtle flash of fire toward the werewolf. The moment it touched, it exploded like gasoline igniting. In seconds, the massive beast turned to ashes.

Dracula's expression shifted. Even transformed, it would take him several minutes to kill a werewolf head-on. He slowly backed up, eyes cautious.

Inside the castle, countless bat-like vampires and hundreds of massive werewolves swarmed toward Xu Mo and the brides, filling the sky. Dracula, seeing the numbers, regained some confidence and moved to a terrace above the castle.

"I'll show you what happens when you provoke me!"

Ariella and Marika, impressed by Xu Mo's speed and power, watched the swarming hordes. Though they knew the demon Xu Mo summoned was stronger than Dracula, the sheer numbers of vampires and werewolves were intimidating.

Xu Mo observed the scene with excitement. He had expected only Dracula and a few werewolves. Now, there were more enemies—an unexpected bonus. The larger the number, the greater the benefit.

The Dark Book floated from his eyebrows, releasing a gray mist that spread across the open space below.

Dracula sent a bat into the fog. The moment it entered, its body melted like acid, leaving only a skeleton that fell freely to the ground.

Dracula quickly pulled back the other bats and werewolves, wary of the fog. It did not spread toward the castle.

Moments later, the fog dissipated, revealing the ground beneath darkened and crawling with various monsters. Xu Mo's undead army had arrived: skeleton soldiers armed with weapons, and in front, thousands of armored undead knights. Conservative estimates placed the army at over 100,000.

Dracula, momentarily stunned, quickly suppressed his unease. He was immortal; numbers alone could not intimidate him. Yet the display was undeniable.

Floating above, Xu Mo smiled. These undead forces were pre-summoned from the Dark Book before leaving the Doomsday World. If needed, he could summon billions more. These undead relied on the Dark Book for existence and could be controlled at will, like any necromancer commanding creatures of the underworld.

For now, Xu Mo had no need to summon more. The space before the castle was limited, and 100,000 undead was already more than sufficient. In fact, a thousand of these soldiers could crush the vampire and werewolf forces.

But rushing headlong was not his style.
