Chapter 290 - Chapter 290 Killing the Game!

Soon...

At least, it seemed soon, because Kayson didn't do anything, just sat in the stands eating snacks.

He knew nothing about the draw below the stands or Lupin and his colleagues being so busy.

So, in his eyes, a dragon and a contestant quickly entered the arena.

An unknown dragon and a well-known person, Krum.

Kayson watched Krum fight the beast while eating, and how should he put it, in a sense, it wasn't even as good as watching Nios, who had already been eliminated, brutally beat the dragon with his fists.

Because for Krum, his magic performance was really not that great.

Of course, it just wasn't good to watch; basically, he just waved his wand, and then a small wound suddenly appeared on some part of the dragon, completely lacking that satisfying feeling of punches hitting flesh.

Finally, Krum and the dragon fought in the arena for nearly ten minutes before he finally angered the dragon, causing it to leave the vicinity of its nest, giving him the opportunity to use Accio to summon the golden egg from the dragon's nest.

He then used a spell to break the dragon's defense and seized the opportunity to leave the arena.

"What score do you think they will give?" Professor Sprout suddenly asked.

"If it were up to me, it should be a perfect score... because it was good to watch. But if it's based on the contestant's performance, it might just be so-so, but I don't think it should be too low. After all, his life is still his own, and the golden egg was also retrieved," Kayson said with interest.

As expected, the judges' scores were all very... lenient, with basically none below seven points.

What was interesting was Karkaroff; that old fellow even observed Dumbledore when scoring, and only after confirming that Dumbledore gave Krum ten points did he relax and follow suit with a ten.

One could say he had already become Dumbledore's shape.

As for the next contestant, Fleur, her performance was even less visually appealing than Krum's, but in terms of scoring, she was a whole level higher than Krum.

However, for Kayson, who didn't care about scores, he still felt bored, as Fleur merely hypnotized the dragon with a spell for over ten minutes and then openly carried away the golden egg.

And the scores were still pleasing; thanks to the efforts of Karkaroff and Ludo Bagman, she almost got a perfect score.

If it weren't for the efforts of those two, she definitely would have gotten a perfect score.

"Who's next?"

"Oh... Harry, do you think he'll succeed?" Professor Sprout asked.

"For me, as long as he survives, that's the greatest victory," Kayson said, shrugging.

"Don't be so pessimistic; at least, I think that boy Potter is much smarter than we give him credit for," Professor Sprout comforted.

"Mm-hmm, I hope so," Kayson said, then began to look at the arena below.

Harry, however, showed no pretense or shyness; the moment he walked into the arena, he immediately pressed the two ethereal buttons on his wrist.

External aid arrived as promised; Harry wasted no words, directly activated a shield, and then, under the dragon's bewildered gaze, flew straight towards its nest.

Before the dragon even had time to react, he arrived under the dragon's rear, stopped abruptly, grabbed the golden egg, patted his butt, and flew directly out of the arena.

"Dumbledore, this is unfair! This is cheating! The rules never said Alchemy tools could be used!" Madame Maxime protested.

"But correspondingly, the rules also didn't say Alchemy tools weren't allowed. The rules only said that Alchemy tools or other items weren't allowed to be brought into the arena, but this... uh..." Karkaroff naturally became Dumbledore's, or rather, Hogwarts's mouthpiece, but he couldn't continue halfway through his sentence.

It wasn't his dignity or character that stopped him; he simply didn't know what that cool big treasure on Harry was.

He stood up and looked at Kayson behind him, and the latter, uncharacteristically, his mind raced, and he gave an unassailable answer.

"That was original and handmade by Harry himself. How would I know what it's called?"

Karkaroff nodded: "Exactly. The Triwizard Tournament is about the Little Wizards' all-round development. How is Alchemy not development?"

Madame Maxime scoffed. Although she couldn't refute Karkaroff's sophistry, and she didn't know when these two guys got together, she still had the right to give Harry a low score.

"What score did Harry get?" Kayson, who had been eating dried fish and hadn't had time to look, asked.

"It's okay, nine points off a perfect score," Professor Sprout said.

"Not too bad; at least he survived," Kayson stretched his neck, looked at the four Little Wizards celebrating their victory and survival with their companions, and said with a smile.

"Next is Cedric. Are you nervous?" Professor Sprout suddenly asked.

"Why would I be nervous when he's on?" Kayson said casually, rubbing his hands.

"Mm-hmm... If you rubbed a little slower, I might believe you," Professor Sprout said with a smile.

Soon, Cedric entered. He looked at the dragon in the distance, lying on its nest, staring at him with wide eyes, and somewhat helplessly rubbed his chin. Then he looked at Kayson in the stands.

"He's looking at you," Professor Sprout reminded him.

"Maybe it's you; you're his Dean, after all," Kayson said nervously.

"...I think his expression has a different meaning..." Snape, sitting behind Kayson, said.

"Huh? I can't see that far," Kayson said, surprised.

"I can." Snape used Legilimency to see Cedric's thoughts... He really had good eyesight, it must be said.

"What does he mean?" Kayson asked.

"Because our classmate Potter used an Alchemy device in the last round, which caused Madame Maxime to give him the lowest score, so he's undecided..." Snape explained.

"What's the big deal? Harry might have been suspected of cheating, but everything on Cedric was made by his own hands, and using it is precisely to bring honor to Hogwarts!" Kayson said, shrugging.

Then he stood up, holding onto his seat, raised his neck, and drew a horizontal line across his throat with his thumb.

The meaning was clear.

"Kill the competition!"
