"Kill the dragon?" Cedric pursed his lips, a hint of reluctance in his eyes as he glanced at the still bewildered dragon not far away. But since this was the Professor's intention...
Crack!
With a crisp sound, two mechanical arms extended from behind Cedric.
"Let me think about how I should do this..." Cedric murmured, beginning to ponder. Since Professor Kayson is an Alchemy Professor, he definitely wouldn't want me to kill the dragon using methods other than Alchemy...
Close-quarters combat... that's not impossible...
The next moment, one of the mechanical arms behind him directly plunged its sharp blade into the ground, propping him up. Then, it slightly adjusted its angle, like a slingshot, and flung him directly towards the dragon.
In mid-air, Cedric began to adjust his posture, but this speed, accelerated by physical kinetic energy, was clearly not as fast as the Alchemy backpack Kayson made, which, for example, could make the dragon unable to react.
But the former could.
Dragonflame blasted towards Cedric. The latter's pupils constricted slightly, and the two mechanical arms behind him stretched out, forming two gliders. Then, at a strange angle, he ascended straight into the sky at an angle that defied physics.
"Use a magic spell?" Cedric frowned for a moment after dodging the Dragonflame, but ultimately chose Alchemy decisively. In mid-air, with the speed of a parkour master, he pulled out a simple Enchanting Table.
The moment the enchantment book opened, dense runes immediately appeared on it, following his will.
"Why is that kid pulling out an Enchanting Table instead of using a magic spell? How dangerous is that?" Kayson said, frowning from the stands.
"Maybe he wants to learn from you," Professor Sprout said.
"Learn from me? I don't use an Enchanting Table to fight..." Kayson murmured, frowning.
Meanwhile, Cedric directly grabbed the magic from the enchantment book, one in each hand. The now uncontrolled Enchanting Table was then kicked directly towards the dragon's eye.
"I wonder if you'll fear your own flames!" he murmured, flinging two spells in two completely different directions.
One towards the dragon's body, and the other towards the Dragonflame the dragon had exhaled.
A flash of purple light swept across the entire arena. The chaotic Dragonflame, as if suddenly gaining consciousness, coiled around the dragon's body.
"Huh? Binding Curse? Who taught him to play like this?!" Kayson shouted, looking bewildered.
"Didn't you use it before? In the Forbidden Forest?" Snape suddenly asked.
"I used the Curse of Vanishing," Kayson said, gritting his teeth.
Meanwhile, Professor Flitwick, sitting on the other side, and Ollivander, who had come to watch the fun, looked at this scene in bewilderment...
"Spellcraft no longer exists..."
"Alchemy no longer exists..."
Cedric, gliding in mid-air, finally relaxed a little as he watched the dragon entangled in Dragonflame. Then, he straightforwardly chose to continue ascending.
"Isn't this purely Cedric Ismael? Did I teach him this?" Kayson murmured, looking bewildered.
Once he reached a suitable height, Cedric took a deep breath, directly gave up ascending, and instead began to descend at full speed, or to put it more powerfully.
His entire body, like a bullet-shaped meteor, slammed towards the dragon's skull.
Bang!
The dragon, which had been holding its head high and wrestling with its own flames, was instantly smashed headfirst into the ground, letting out a painful howl.
After all, while dragons have high magic resistance, they still feel pain from the most basic physical attacks.
Moreover, with their complex nervous systems and brain capacity, dragons perceive pain even more deeply.
But Cedric ignored the dragon's howl; he still remembered Kayson's earnest teachings.
"Kill the dragon!"
The next moment, he raised his arm, his fist tightly clenched. With the power of the Alchemy skeleton and the well-adjusted redstone mechanism, as he stomped his foot hard on the ground, all the joints in his ankle, knee, hip, spine, shoulder, and arm continuously performed lever movements under the effect of the redstone program.
Bang!
With a loud crash, the dragon's skull, centered on Cedric's fist, caved in significantly.
The mechanical arms behind him were not idle either; one deeply pierced the dragon's skin to prevent the dragon from flinging him off in pain.
The other mechanical arm, like a precise surgical knife, effortlessly cut open the dragon hide that Cedric had dented with his punch, revealing the shattered, barely connected dragon bone.
"Believe me, I'm making your departure quicker..." Cedric murmured, violently prying out the shattered bone. The other mechanical arm reached directly inside and began to spin rapidly like the blades of a juicer.
Instantly, the entire dragon let out a howl, then its head tilted, and it slumped to the ground.
"What the heck! What is he doing?! We sent him up to get the golden egg, why did he get redstone powder in his brain and kill the dragon?!" Kayson stood up, looking bewildered.
Meanwhile, Cedric, carrying the golden egg and leaving the arena, was already surrounded by a group of fearless reporters.
"Mr. Cedric Diggory, why did you use such a bloody and cruel method, even slaughtering a dragon, to obtain the golden egg?" one reporter asked, holding a microphone and pen to his mouth.
"You ask me why I slayed the dragon? Didn't your question already state it? For the golden egg!" Cedric answered without thinking.
"No, I mean there are many ways to obtain the golden egg, why did you choose to slay the dragon?"
"You know, Hogwarts has two Wizards who became champions. I have to do well enough, be eye-catching enough to bring glory to Hogwarts..."
"But that doesn't warrant using such a method. Was someone instructing you to do this?"
"I'm sorry, I don't want to answer that question. Go talk to my mentor, Professor Kayson."
"I believe even your mentor wouldn't approve of obtaining the golden egg in such a brutal and bloody manner, do you agree?"
"I don't know, I don't know why you're treating me like this when I clearly participated in the competition, when we're all trying our best to bring glory to Hogwarts...."
Kayson, in the stands, watched Cedric, whose integrity was gradually slipping as he started spouting nonsense, and couldn't help but get angry...
After all, Cedric's words were a bit too classic....
