Chapter 119 - Goodwill Event

Inside Tokyo Jujutsu High.

The students from both campuses had officially met and were now standing face to face.

"What? Okkotsu isn't here?"

Todo swept his gaze across the area, trying to find the only person in the Tokyo school who could spark even a little interest in him.

The result disappointed him. That figure was nowhere to be seen. He was probably still overseas, continuing his training.

"Don't look down on us, you bastard!"

Maki's short temper flared instantly as she shot back. Her irritation was written all over her face.

"Even if you say that, sending two first years out feels like going way too easy."

Mechamaru's wooden jaw opened and closed as he calmly voiced his opinion.

Their side was made up entirely of second and third years. Winning like this would feel meaningless.

"Don't underestimate them. Age doesn't represent strength. One of them carries the Fushiguro bloodline, and he's even stronger than the original main family."

Noritoshi, acting as the leader, never once looked down on their opponents.

Born into the Kamo clan, one of the Big Three Families that valued bloodlines above all else, and as the next head of the family, he understood very well what blood truly meant.

Not to mention Megumi had already been confirmed as the heir to the Zenin clan's most powerful inherited technique, the Ten Shadows Technique.

Just based on the reputation of his father and uncle within the jujutsu world, it was obvious how strong that family's bloodline was.

Noritoshi would not be careless.

After hearing that, the others grew more serious as well.

Only Mai glanced at him with clear disdain.

"Alright, alright. You kids, honestly. So where's that idiot anyway?"

Seeing the tension rising between both sides, Utahime, dressed in her shrine maiden outfit, clapped her hands to stop it. At the same time, she asked about someone's whereabouts with visible annoyance.

"Satoru is late."

Panda scratched his head as he answered.

"When has that idiot ever been on time?"

"Salmon."

The three second years joined in, criticizing a certain chronically unpunctual person.

"No one said the idiot was Gojo-sensei."

Surprisingly, the usually cold Megumi spoke up to defend Satoru just a little.

"Fushiguro bloodline… speaking of that, is your family really that impressive?"

Standing nearby, Nobara looked at Megumi.

She had already heard about the Zenin and Fushiguro families during the previous meeting, but before she could ask more, Todo had interrupted her.

"Well—"

"Ta-da! The super handsome Gojo-sensei is back from his overseas trip!"

Nobara still did not get her answer.

A white-haired man wearing a blindfold swaggered in, pushing two small carts loaded with large black boxes. He cut off Megumi just as he was about to speak.

"Here. These are souvenirs for everyone from Kyoto. Protective charms from a tribe overseas."

He stopped the carts in front of Megumi and Nobara, picked up the pink doll-like charms that looked like they were made from yarn, and handed them out one by one to the Kyoto students.

By the time he reached Utahime, they had just run out.

"Utahime doesn't get one!"

"I don't want it anyway. And use polite language, you bastard!"

Her demeanor changed completely, nothing like her usual gentle and sweet teacher image.

"Then, Tokyo students, these are your gifts!"

Satoru turned back, walked over to the two black boxes, and opened them together.

Two boys stood up from inside.

"Hah! Gotcha!"

Yuji shouted with full confidence, using it as his first greeting to the second years.

Junpei did not understand why he was shouting, but with his face burning red, he followed his good friend and yelled along.

The scene went silent.

The feeling of secondhand embarrassment spread through the air.

"Who are these two?"

Maki and the others had no idea Yuji was alive, nor had they seen the two boys who had been studying alongside Nanami and Satoru for the past month.

"Long story short, they're your new companions. Yuji Itadori and Junpei Yoshino."

Satoru scratched his head and gave the simplest introduction possible.

"Well, uh. Welcome back. Or welcome."

Megumi and Nobara reached out their hands to them.

"Yeah!"

Yuji hooked an arm around Junpei's neck, and the two stepped out of the black box, standing in front of their classmates together.

"Oh right, right. Everyone, this guy here is Sukuna's vessel!"

Satoru abruptly grabbed Yuji by the shoulder and turned him around so the Kyoto students could see him clearly.

He even waved specifically at the approaching Gakuganji.

"Sukuna's vessel should have been… how is this possible?!"

That move worked perfectly. Gakuganji's eyes widened, and the hand gripping his cane tightened unconsciously.

"This is great! I thought Principal Gakuganji might drop dead from anger!"

Satoru could not help but tease him again when he saw that reaction.

"You brat…"

"Satoru! That's extremely rude!"

Gakuganji was so angry he could not even speak. Beside him, Masamichi did not indulge Satoru at all and directly reached out, locking the man firmly under his arm.

And this special grade sorcerer showed absolutely no resistance in front of his former teacher.

(Utahime was quietly laughing on the side.)

"I think it's time to talk about the important stuff."

At that moment, the trio who had just arrived from outside finally walked up to the group.

"Alright. Let's explain the rules."

Masamichi released the struggling Satoru and adjusted his sunglasses.

* * *

More than ten minutes later.

Inside a room temporarily cleared out to serve as Kyoto Jujutsu High's strategy office.

"Yuji Itadori has already died once. He can't even be considered human anymore."

Gakuganji spoke coldly to the students in front of him. His meaning was obvious. He wanted them to find a chance to kill Yuji during the team match.

"Uh…"

Miwa's face twisted into a miserable expression.

She could not bring herself to kill someone.

The others did not respond right away either. Todo simply turned around and left, throwing out a warning as he went.

"There's a Takada-chan livestream later. I don't have time for your petty schemes. And don't try ordering me around. Do that, and I might kill you instead."

"Then you all—"

"Dismissed. Go do whatever you want."

Right as Gakuganji was about to continue explaining the mission, the door suddenly opened. Mukuro stepped in and waved his hand, signaling the students to leave.

"Yes."

As if they had been saved, everyone quickly exited the room.

"There is nothing you can do. And at the same time, there is nothing you need to do. Just keep your eyes open and watch this world."
