Chapter 280: Battle!

Ryan pressed the Key Stone without hesitation. The Mega Stone on Charizard glowed, connecting with the Key Stone in Ryan's hand. A ball of light instantly enveloped Charizard, and when it exploded into a shower of sparks, Mega Charizard X appeared on the field, the surrounding flames instantly turning a deep blue.
Charizard crossed its arms, the deep blue flames gradually gathering on them, and a pair of giant fiery claws took shape over its claws. With a flap of its wings, a powerful gust of air erupted, causing everyone to shield their eyes from the dust kicked up by the blast. But Zygarde had no time for such thoughts. Its massive, azure fiery claws ripped down towards its chest, the scorching air washing over it as if it were being roasted in a furnace.
Zygarde's body burst forth with a fierce green light, beams of which shot from the earth, causing the ground to crumble and collapse, sending countless chunks of dirt and rock flying upwards. Above these chunks of dirt and rock was the form of the Charizard.
"Land's Wrath? Using this method to attack a Charizard in the air, impressive. But aren't you underestimating my Charizard?"
The power of their bond surged wildly, the communication and exchange between their hearts multiplying their reaction speed. A dark blue flame erupted violently from Charizard's body, completely engulfing it. The dirt and rocks that came into contact with the flames instantly vaporized, causing absolutely no harm to Charizard.
Zygarde, seeing the ball of fire hurtling towards it, lashed its tail out from the ground, instantly transforming into a black streak of light to evade the deadly flames. But Charizard within the flames, seeing Zygarde dodge its attack, instantly stopped, its eerie blue flames erupting violently, scattering countless droplets of fire in all directions.
Lillie immediately grabbed Alexa and ran backward. Such a battle was beyond the reach of ordinary people; even watching could cost them their lives!
"Manaphy, Aqua Ring, protect us!"
After running a short distance with Alexa, Lillie, seeing the fiercely burning eerie blue flames in the clearing and the vanished Zygarde, immediately sent out Manaphy. Charizard was pulled to the ground, and its claws instantly ignited with a ghostly blue flame. After being pulled to the ground by the green beam of light, Charizard slammed its fists into the earth. From the already ravaged ground, pillars of eerie blue flame erupted, hurling Zygarde from the ground. Zygarde was pushed out of the ground by the flames, the intense flames engulfing its body. Feeling the burning pain, Zygarde cried out in agony.
"What the hell is this?!"
At that moment, a terrified voice rang out, and a girl who bore a striking resemblance to Alexa appeared in the clearing. Seeing the battle between the two giant beasts, she screamed in alarm.
At that moment, a ball of fire shot towards the girl; if not stopped, this flame, containing the essence of combustion, would be fatal upon contact!
