Benjamin stood at the base of the tall tower, his gaze fixed on the small window opening near the top. After studying it for a moment, his eyes slowly drifted downward, taking in the rough stone wall.
"It shouldn't be too difficult," he murmured.
He reached for a protruding rock and tested it with his weight. It shifted beneath his fingers, nearly slipping free, but he quickly steadied himself. Planting one foot on the stone below, he began to climb.
Slowly and carefully, he worked his way up the tower, gripping each stone firmly before shifting his weight. He refused to look down, keeping his eyes fixed on the window above.
Eventually, he reached the opening.
Clinging tightly to the edge, Benjamin pulled himself close enough to peer through.
His eyes widened.
