Itabashi Ward, Nishi-tai Station.
Satania stood by the roadside.
She took out her phone to check the time.
There were still ten minutes until their agreed-upon nine o'clock meeting.
Just as she put away her phone.
"Guess who I am."
A pair of hands covered Satania's eyes from behind, causing her to freeze for a moment.
"Lin!"
Reacting, a smile immediately bloomed on Satania's face.
"Correct."
Lin smiled slightly and released his hands.
Satania turned around, looked up at Lin, and was momentarily stunned.
He seemed even more handsome?
The thought flashed through her mind.
The last time she saw Lin, he only had the authority of the seven Kingships. Now, things were different.
Especially after acquiring the Third Magic.
It made Lin's appearance even more outstanding.
Along with some changes in his aura.
"Is there something on my face?"
Seeing Satania staring intently at him, Lin asked knowingly.
"N-No..."
Satania snapped back to her senses, quickly shook her head, a faint blush tinting her cheeks.
A flash of shyness passed through her eyes.
"Let's go, this way."
To shift the topic and her attention, Satania pretended to be composed, turned around, and walked ahead to lead the way.
Lin smiled and followed.
Coming up beside her, he asked:
"Satania, what's the name of that coffee shop?"
"The name..."
Satania froze for a moment, then gave an awkward smile: "I don't know. I just know where it is."
"I see."
Lin pondered for a moment before smiling and asking: "How much farther?"
Satania thought: "About ten or fifteen minutes walking."
Lin: "That's not bad. By the way, Satania, have you run into that angel's lackey lately?"
"Of course!"
Mentioning the angel's lackey, Satania got a bit excited, but she quickly grinned smugly:
"I've seen it several times, but every time, just like you said, I didn't take out the pineapple bun outside."
"So it never got to steal one."
As the saying goes, a lesson learned makes one wiser.
Thanks to Lin's reminder, she finally understood not to casually take out her pineapple bun in public.
Otherwise, danger could strike at any moment.
The two chatted as they walked, arriving outside the coffee shop Satania mentioned about fifteen minutes later.
The location was relatively secluded.
There were few pedestrians on this street.
"Angel Coffee Shop..."
Looking at the shop's name, Lin's eyes narrowed slightly.
A thoughtful expression appeared.
This seems to be...
"Angel..."
Satania froze upon seeing the coffee shop's name, then disdainfully curled her lip:
"What kind of tasteless name did the owner pick? It'd be better to rename it Demon Coffee Shop."
"Angel, tch..."
Thinking of how she'd been frustrated lately by that angel Gabriel, Satania felt a twinge of annoyance.
Damn Gabriel.
I'll definitely defeat her!
With that thought, she looked at Lin:
"Lin, what do you think?"
Lin smiled: "Actually, I think either works."
"Let's go in. We're already here, so we should try the coffee."
"Fine..."
Hearing Lin say that, Satania stopped fussing over the name and nodded.
She walked ahead and pushed open the door.
Ding-a-ling~~~
The bell above the door rang, alerting the staff that customers had arrived.
"Welcome."
A middle-aged man in a vest suit with a center-parted hairstyle and a mustache greeted them with a smile.
Lin nodded with a smile.
He and Satania found seats. The shop was empty aside from them.
The middle-aged man smiled and asked:
"What would you two like?"
"If you're undecided, I recommend our signature blended coffee."
Satania picked up the coffee menu on the table, glanced at it, and said: "No need, just any one."
"The espresso."
"Uh... alright..."
The man's smile faltered.
A trace of disappointment flashed in his eyes.
"I'll have one."
Lin smiled and said.
The man paused: "What would you like, sir?"
Lin: "Blended coffee."
"No problem."
The man's face lit up with confidence: "I'm quite confident in my blended coffee."
"To ensure the flavor, I personally select beans from their origins..."
"Um..."
As he was about to expound, Lin interrupted:
"Sir, are you staff or the owner?"
"I'm the owner."
The man smiled.
Lin smiled: "Then could the owner prepare our coffee? We have places to be."
"If the blended coffee is good, I'll come back next time to hear your introduction."
"Alright, please wait a moment."
The owner froze, gave an awkward smile, then turned to prepare their orders.
Especially the blended coffee.
Heh heh.
He was confident that anyone who liked coffee would love his specially crafted blend.
Once the owner left, Lin looked at Satania across from him:
"Satania, have you had coffee before?"
"Never."
Satania shook her head.
"You, Lin?"
Lin: "Many times."
Satania looked curious: "Is coffee good?"
Lin: "It depends on personal taste."
"There are many kinds, and preferences vary."
His eyes flickered slightly.
If he remembered right, Satania had no sense of taste.
"I see..."
Satania pondered.
They chatted idly.
After a while, the owner brought their coffees.
"Enjoy."
He didn't leave immediately.
Satania picked up the espresso, sniffed it, took a sip, and frowned slightly.
"Is something wrong?"
Seeing her frown, the owner tensed.
"Feels average."
Satania gave her verdict.
"Average..."
The owner's expression froze.
He looked toward Lin.
Lin sipped the blended coffee, his super taste activating.
After swallowing.
The owner looked tense and expectant: "How is it, sir?"
Lin smiled slightly: "The owner used five kinds of coffee beans in this blend, right?"
"You can taste that?!"
The owner stared in shock, then smiled:
"Correct, five kinds, all high-quality beans I selected from origins myself."
"Delicious."
Lin smiled and praised.
"Wonderful!"
The owner beamed, looking at Lin like an angel, satisfied:
"Then I won't disturb you. Call if you need anything."
With that, he turned and left.
