LUCILLE'S POV
I went home feeling very excited, I had high hopes I could convince my mom to allow me see Romeo freely.
As I was about to enter my room, I heard a voice behind me, it was my mom.
"Stop right there young lady", my mom said standing behind me.
"Ugh! What now?", I asked turning to look at her.
"You met him today", she said walking closer to me.
"And by him, you mean?", I asked pretending not to know who she was referring to.
"Don't play games with me Lucille, you know exactly who I'm talking about", she said angrily.
"I'm not playing games mom, who are you talking about?", I asked taking a step backwards.
"Did you actually think I would not find out? You met him at the old school building, you do know you're not allowed there right?", she asked angrily.
"Why do you hate him so much mom?", I asked calmly.
"And by him, you mean who?", she asked smiling.
"Really? You're really going to behave like this?", I asked clearly annoyed.
"I'm giving you a last chance darling, stay away from him!", she said looking pretty serious.
I walked closer to her and hugged her, I hugged her so tight, then I began to cry.
"Whatever I did to you mom, I'm very sorry. Please stop punishing me", I said still crying.
"This isn't a punishment Lucille, it's an order. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!", she yelled.
I became speechless, she won't listen to anything I have to say. I wiped the tears from my eyes and watched as she walked away.
"No! I won't stay away from him", I yelled angrily.
I run to her, and went on my knees. I could tell she was very surprised, well the things we do for love huh.
"What's this Lucille? Oh God! Please stand up", she said helping me up.
"I wont change my mind sweetheart, stop making a fool out of yourself. You look pathetic", she added.
"I'll kill myself if you don't allow me to be with him", I whispered.
"You wouldn't!", my mom said angrily.
"Watch me", I said standing up.
I went into the kitchen and picked up a knife, my mom was right infront of me when I cut my arm. Blood was all over the place in seconds.
"What's wrong with you?", my mom said taking the knife from me.
She quickly went for the first aid kit and dressed my wound.
"I'll kill myself if you say no mom", I whispered again while she was packing up.
"Okay fine! I get it, you love him so much you'd kill yourself for him. Fine, you can go back to being friends with him", she said looking at me angrily.
I looked away and smiled, "good, can I have my phone now?", I asked her.
"It's in my car", she responded.
"You kept it in your car?", I asked surprised.
"Do you want it or not?", she asked angrily.
I laughed and quickly went for my phone.
The first thing I thought about was calling Romeo, I couldn't wait to tell him the good news.

Hey, you got your phone back.
(Lucille)
Yes, my mom has finally agreed I can be with you.Wait, are you driving?
(Romeo)
Actually yes, Xanders mom called. Xander is in the hospital, I'm on my way there right now.
(Lucille)
Oh no!Which hospital? I'll meet you there.
(Romeo)
No hold on, you should be home. Your mom just agreed we can be friends again. You don't want to make her change her mind, do you?
(Lucille)
But..
(Romeo)
But nothing Lucille, please don't come. Stay at home.
(Lucille)
Okay fineee! I'll do as you say.
(Romeo)
Thank you! I love you!
(Lucille)
I love you more.
The ended the call and went back into the house. I really hope Xander is okay, I'll go visit him tomorrow.
ROMEO'S POV
I got to the hospital shortly and went straight to Xander. I was so worried after his mom explained things to me.
"Why the hell are you standing? You should be laying down", I said helping him get back to bed.
"What are you doing here?", he asked, he was surprised to see me.
"Your mom told me everything", I responded.
"Everything?", he asked even more surprised.
"Yes, there were armed robbers in your house", I said to him.
"Yes.. armed robbers", he said reluctantly.
It was then I knew they were keeping something from me. When his mom called, she said he got into a car accident on his way to the grocery store.
I found it difficult believing her, and now, Xander just confirmed it. Something happened, something very important made Xander end in the hospital and I'm going to find out.
"Are you okay Romeo?", Xander asked looking at me.
"Yes yes, I'm good. Have some rest, you need to get better soon", I said with a smile.
"Lucille called, her mom is okay with us now", I said after a brief silence.
"Oh my God that's amazing", he said trying to stand up.
"Just lie down guy, you won't believe this. Her mom threatened to kick me out of the school if Lucille and I are seen together", I said hilariously.
He just laughed, he wasn't surprised, there was no reaction from him. None at all.
"You already knew didn't you?", I asked angrily.
"I can explain, I made a promise to Lucille not to tell you. She wanted to tell you herself", he explained.
"Did you also make a promise to her to lie to me?", I asked.
"No no, what are you talking about?", he said standing up.
"Your mom said you were involved in an accident, but you just agreed when I said you were attacked by armed robbers", I said angrily.
"No no Romeo, I can explain. Please calm down", he said calmly.
"I wish you a speedy recovery Xander, goodbye", I said and left angrily.
I drove very fast on my way home, I couldn't control my anger. I was very angry, not about Lucille but because he lied to me.
How many times has he lied to me? I can't be friends with someone who lies about almost everything.
Maybe I was just hurt, hurt he doesn't trust me enough to tell me the truth about himself.
I see him as my brother, I tell him everything about myself. Maybe he sees me as nothing more than just a classmate!
I can't be friends with him anymore, our friendship ends now, tonight!
Arghh! I yelled angrily with tears flowing down my cheeks.
