Taking advantage of Dracula's moment of regeneration, Zed switched out the second-stage dial and transformed into Kamen Rider Zi-O – Chronos Armor.
As Zed's transformation finished, Dracula's body also fully recovered. Pointing at Zed with disdain, Dracula sneered,
"What's so special about that armor? No matter what tricks you've got, you still can't kill me."
"Who knows?"
Zed strode forward confidently, pointing straight at Dracula.
"This time, I'm making sure you're discontinued for good."
Unwilling to back down, Dracula lunged at Zed, his claws aimed straight for the Rider's throat. The talons were wrapped in a chilling, sinister energy powerful enough to tear through armor.
But Zed wasn't one to sit still and take it. His fists hammered into Dracula's body again and again, each blow landing solidly. He mixed in sharp kicks between strikes, pounding Dracula until his body burst apart repeatedly.
Sparks and black mist burst violently where they clashed, but neither cared about the damage — both were fighting with total abandon.
Zed's eyes narrowed. He sidestepped Dracula's claw, grabbed his arm, and with a powerful swing of his hips — Slam! — drove his shoulder hard into Dracula's chest. The impact knocked the breath out of the vampire, forcing a gasp from his open mouth.
Pivoting on his left leg, Zed stomped the ground for leverage and kicked Dracula's shin, flipping him over with a heavy over-the-shoulder throw.
But Dracula wasn't finished. Enduring the pain, he grabbed Zed's shoulder with his left hand and — crack! — twisted off his own right arm midair, using the momentum to spin and drive a brutal knee straight into Zed's chest, sending him crashing through a wall.
Zed hit the ground hard amid shattered stone and dust, motionless. But Dracula knew better — that wasn't enough to kill him.
He grabbed his dislocated arm, snapped it back into place, and after a brief twitch, it fully regenerated.
"Come on! Didn't you say you'd make me obsolete? Looks like you can't even do that!"
The taunt worked. A hand pushed away the rubble as Zed slowly stood, sneering through his helmet.
"Can't do it? When I say I'll discontinue you — I mean it!"
Dracula laughed uproariously.
"Hahaha! You've lost your precognition ability, fool. Without it, you're no match for me! How are you going to do that?"
His laughter stopped abruptly as he lunged again, eyes cold and killing intent flaring.
"Die, you idiot!"
"Stop time!"
Zed's decision to use the Chronos Dial instead of his second-stage predictive form hadn't been impulsive. Chronos's time-stop had a unique effect — anyone slain within the frozen world of time would remain trapped there forever, unable to return.
It was the perfect ability against someone with immortality. Even if Dracula's regeneration was endless, his time itself would cease. He would become nothing more than a wandering ghost in the stopped world — a living seal.
Zed brushed dust off his armor and walked calmly toward Dracula.
"Hmph. Before stopped time, your power's worthless. You're discontinued!"
He stepped into a bow stance and threw a powerful punch — but something impossible happened.
"What?!"
Dracula moved.
He caught Zed's fist effortlessly, tilting his head with a cruel smirk.
"That's your trump card? Useless!"
Dracula's left fist slammed into Zed's chest, sending him flying again. Then, with a ripping motion, he tore off his tattered noble coat.
Dark markings began crawling across his pale skin, forming writhing, tadpole-like runes that linked together into a living magic circle.
The sigils pulsed with a nauseating mixture of bloodlust and twisted temporal energy. Zed could almost hear the screams of countless souls trapped within them.
Spreading his arms arrogantly, Dracula declared,
"In my long life, I've faced every kind of threat. Once, a fool tried to use time magic against me — he was too weak. After I destroyed him, I began collecting time spells myself. Couldn't learn them, but carving them into my body worked just fine. Turns out it was useful."
He grinned wide.
"So tell me — who's the one getting discontinued now?"
The balance of power tilted toward Dracula — but the battle wasn't over yet.
Zed flicked his coat hem aside, his whole presence sharpening like a newly-forged blade. He beckoned with one hand.
"It's not over yet. Come at me!"
"Stubborn fool!"
Dracula roared and rushed him again, convinced Zed had no tricks left — this time, he would tear him apart completely.
They clashed once more in a frenzy of blows.
Zed knew exactly what to target. Dracula wasn't truly wielding time power — his mobility came only from those magic runes. They were his weakness.
If the runes were destroyed, victory would follow.
Zed met Dracula head-on, fists flashing. Every punch carried his determination. His attacks grew faster, stronger, until he roared,
"Now I'm unstoppable!"
The balance shattered. Zed overwhelmed Dracula in a storm of strikes —Uppercut!Uppercut!Rider Kick!Rider Kick!
The barrage ripped through Dracula's body, distorting the runes across his flesh. Cracks formed in the sigil on his chest.
Seeing his chance, Zed traded blow for blow, landing a heavy straight punch directly on Dracula's chest — shattering the sigil along with bone and flesh.
"Ha… haha… hahahaha! You'll be disappointed!"
Black mist surged across Dracula's chest as the wound and the broken rune instantly repaired themselves. The runes had fused with his body completely — drawing strength from his flesh to restore themselves faster than Zed could destroy them.
Dracula drove his claw straight into Zed's abdomen, laughing.
"I can read you like a book. It's useless! My sigils are tougher than your life — you'll die first!"
Slash!
He ripped his claws out, scattering blood and even fragments of organs.
Zed staggered back, clutching his wound, coughing violently. The inside of his helmet was slick with blood. If not for his Amazon physiology, he would already be dead.
In the still world of stopped time, only Zed's labored breathing and Dracula's footsteps could be heard.
Circling him like a predator, Dracula mocked,
"What's wrong? All talk, no bite? You said you'd end me — but your regeneration's nothing compared to mine. You're finished."
He stopped and glanced toward Lilith, frozen in the corner, his voice turning vicious.
"You shouldn't have touched my daughter. And you should never have insulted my wife. Only death can atone for that."
"Tch. Noisy." Zed straightened up slowly.
Dracula frowned, clicking his nails together.
"You really are annoying. Arrogant, stubborn, and loud. Don't you know when to give up?"
Thanks to his Amazon regeneration, Zed was already recovering. He smirked.
"I really don't. Care to teach me?"
Dracula scowled. He was done talking.
"Die!"
His claws neared Zed's heart — but instead of fear, Zed smiled.
Boom!
The ceiling exploded. A massive figure dropped down, slamming Dracula into the floor beneath his boot.
"You're not the only one who can move in a frozen world of time."
It was Dan Kuroto (God Dan). Bent slightly with one hand braced on his knee, he looked at Zed with a grin.
"If I hadn't taken a shortcut, you'd be dead by now."
Zed shook his head, chuckling.
"Time stop was my signal to you — and hey, isn't this a perfect entrance for you, shrimp dumpling?"
Dan's body trembled as he broke into mad laughter.
"Hahaha! You're absolutely right! You truly are my greatest follower! God should always arrive last! Hahahaha!"
Dracula reformed as black smoke, escaping from under Dan's foot and reappearing across the hall, glaring murderously at them both.
"Think you can run?" Dan turned toward him, his manic grin still plastered on his face.
His arm extended unnaturally long, grabbing Dracula by the throat and slamming him into the floor again.
Before Dracula could move, Dan stomped down hard and unleashed a flurry of piston-like punches into his face —Bang! Bang! Bang!
Dracula's face was crushed beyond recognition, but Dan didn't stop, pummeling without mercy.
With a heavy boom, Dracula burst into mist once more, retreating to the far side of the hall and reforming his body.
Dan ignored his glare and turned to Zed.
"What's his deal? He's even more ridiculous than my Dangerous Zombie form."
"That's just how he is," Zed replied. "Not too strong, but ridiculously hard to kill."
Dan squinted at the swirling mist, then asked,
"Those runes on his body — they're the weak point, right?"
"Exactly. The magic circle made from those sigils lets him move in stopped time, but they repair themselves too quickly to destroy."
Zed explained quickly, hoping Dan could find a way around it. And Dan didn't disappoint.
He punched through the mist with a grin, then raised his head and gave his trademark wicked smile.
"Then tell me — do you have the resolve… to walk alongside a god?"
