"Hey, hey, hey~ you can't be serious. Please tell me you're joking."Zede looked at Lilith with a grave expression.
Lilith shook her head, laughing and crying at the same time.
"No~ I'm not joking. My mission has already come to an end. It wasn't perfect… but it's over."
Zede didn't know how to comfort her. In a hurry, he blurted out:
"Dracula isn't dead! What if he comes back one day? Then everything you're doing now will just become a joke!"
"There's no need to persuade me anymore. I'm really tired. I want to ask you to send me off on my final journey, okay, Zede?"Tears flowed endlessly down Lilith's face, as if they would never dry.
"If you leave like this, I'll be sad, you know."Zede tried again to talk her out of it.
Lilith covered her mouth and let out a laugh. "Are you confessing to me? If I weren't Lilith, maybe… just maybe, I might've said yes."
Zede took a deep breath as he looked at her tear-streaked yet smiling face, then stepped forward."Your departure is a loss to this world… and to me as well."
Zede transformed into Shi Wang Second Form, walking up to Lilith. Slowly, he raised the Kyokugen Sword, preparing to grant her a warrior's farewell—yet his fingers trembled, resisting.
Lilith closed her eyes slowly, waiting for Zede to make up his mind, waiting for the moment he would swing his sword.
Zede gritted his teeth and raised the glowing golden blade high. The light was dazzling and sharp.
"Lilith, I'll take your life!"
With a low growl to steel himself, he swung the sword down.
Boom!
Lilith opened her eyes—Zede was still frozen in his striking pose. Turning slightly, she saw the Kyokugen Sword stuck deep into the wall behind her, glowing faintly.
She opened her mouth to speak, but Tan Lidou cut her off.
"I actually thought you were really going to kill her, Zede."Tan Lidou stood nearby, arms crossed.
Zede shook his head. "A poor little girl always stirs pity."
"The term little girl fits perfectly." Tan Lidou nodded in full agreement.
Lilith frowned, confused. "I've lived for centuries—older than both of you combined!"
"No, you're wrong." Tan Lidou shook his head again. "You're just a pitiful little girl—one who needs others to set her life's goals, unable to choose her own path."
"No… I… I—"
Tan Lidou ignored her protests and turned to Zede.
"Just give her a new purpose. That's all she needs to keep living."
Zede looked up toward the sunlight filtering from above. His eyes flickered as he took out the MoonRide Watch, summoning two small bats.He gave a calm command:
"You two, together—draw out her vampire bloodline and remove that curse with it. Then replace it with the blood of the Fangblood Vampire Queen."
"Wait—don't!"
Lilith wanted to refuse, but the bats didn't obey her, and she was too injured to resist.In moments, the two bats bit into her neck.
Her vampire bloodline was drained, and Lilith collapsed weakly to the ground, powerless to do anything but watch as the bats infused her with the superior bloodline.
The process took time. Zede turned to Tan Lidou and asked curiously:
"Xiajiao, why did you—"
"Help you? Wrong. I'm helping her. I admire her obsession with killing that so-called Dracula. Very impressive."Tan Lidou leaned back, smirking.
"Filial madman. Not messing with you. Farewell."
Zede gave a wry smile and turned back to Lilith.When the bats finally finished their work, he gently picked up her frail yet newly revitalized body and left the vampire stronghold.
On the way out, Zede encountered many S.H.I.E.L.D. agents scouring the underground site.It seemed the entire nest had already been taken.
Zede ignored the agents, striding openly through them. The professionals knew better than to start trouble with him.
Resting her head against Zede's shoulder, Lilith spoke softly:
"My father and my brother are still waiting for me… why won't you let me go back?"
"Your father was blinded by hatred—that's why he tried to use such a method to take revenge on Dracula. But raising you all these years proves he loves you. Your mission, your curse, your atonement—all of that is over now. From here on, you live for yourself."Zede kept walking, eyes fixed ahead.
When they neared the entrance, Woz and the others were already waiting.
Seeing the two bats on Zede's shoulders, Woz couldn't contain his excitement.
"This calls for a grand celebration!"
He cleared his throat, straightened his posture, and announced loudly:
"Rejoice! The King of Time who inherits the power of all Riders, master of past and future—Kamen Rider Zi-O! At this very moment, he inherits yet another legendary power—the might of Kamen Rider Dark Kiva!"
Sky had long known that Zede was a shameless flirt. After venting his anger on those vampires, his mood had improved considerably.
Then Sky looped her arm around Shin's and gave a little hum, signaling that they stood on the same front—though Shin, as usual, remained calm and indifferent.
Zede chuckled softly and stepped out from the underground into the sunlight."So, how long has it been since you last saw the sun?"
Lilith squinted against the brightness, shielding her eyes with her hands, but still tried to peek through her fingers.
"A long, long time," she murmured.
Her eyes watered from the harsh light, but she refused to look away.Seeing her like this, Zede couldn't help but burst into laughter.
Lilith turned to him, puzzled. "What are you laughing at?"
"You've already found your reason to live, haven't you?"Zede met her eyes directly.
Lilith froze for a long moment, staring at her own hands in silence.Then, lowering her hands, she smiled up at the blue sky."Well? Aren't you going to put me down?"
"I can't let my dessert run away."
Three days after the battle in the vampire stronghold, S.H.I.E.L.D. was still hard at work—wiping out remnants, sealing off intel, and cleaning up every trace.The agents were exhausted.
Meanwhile, Nick Fury and Deputy Director Hill were exploring the site themselves.
"Hmph~ these vampires sure lived in luxury. Look at this—so many lost artworks hidden down here."Nick Fury pointed at the collection with a hint of mockery.
Paintings, sculptures, gold, silverware—every piece crafted by a master's hand, showcasing the vampires' decadent lifestyle.
Hill, unimpressed, reminded him, "We're not here to admire art."
"I know, I know. If you're that impatient, let's go."Fury strode deeper into the tunnels.
They stopped before a stone chamber whose doors had already been forced open.Inside, scientists in hazmat suits were busily moving in and out.
Fury stood at the entrance without stepping in. His voice was calm.
"This is the vampires' blood pool—the kind that turns people into vampires. Our scientists have already begun analyzing it. Won't be long before we have results."
Hill's eyes narrowed on the red vials in the scientists' hands."Can you guarantee none of that will leak out?"
Fury's single eye gazed into the depths of the chamber.
"The most terrifying thing about vampires isn't their power—it's their contagion. One day, they'll resurface again. We have to develop an antidote that can neutralize them completely. A little risk is worth it."
Hill understood. In their generation, vampires might no longer pose a threat—but centuries later, they could still plague humanity.Fury wanted to root out the infection entirely, to eliminate vampires once and for all.
"I hope you succeed," Hill said sincerely.
Fury didn't react much. "It's a long-term project. We probably won't see success in our lifetime. You should wish our successors luck instead. Anyway, Hill, have you thought about how to write your report?"
"Yes. I'll report everything truthfully."Hill turned and walked away.
Fury's face darkened even more.
During those three days of S.H.I.E.L.D. cleanup, Zede had been indulging in delicious desserts.
After all, the Amazon physique required immense energy—meat and sweets alike were welcome.
Zede lay comfortably on Shin's chest, watching a late-night show, while Shin massaged his shoulders.
Lilith knelt gracefully beside them, spoon-feeding Zede dessert one bite at a time.

Zede smacked his lips, utterly satisfied.Sky was used to it by now, sitting off to the side with her laptop, studying alien technology.
After swallowing another mouthful of cake, Zede licked his lips and asked:
"Mmm~ Sky, how's your studying going? Professor Lingma is still strict, right?"
A vein popped on Sky's forehead. "Didn't you say you'd study with me? Why am I the only one suffering now?"
Cough, cough~Zede suddenly choked—whether on the dessert or Sky's words, no one knew.Shin and Lilith quickly patted his back until he caught his breath again.
"I didn't get 'Super Intelligence' in either of my draws. Guess I'm not suited for science. Better not force it."Zede shook his head, dodging Sky's glare.
"Hmph~"
Turning his head, Zede looked at Lilith with concern."How's the Fangblood power? Getting used to it?"
"It feels great. It suits me well."Lilith brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, revealing more of her pale pink skin.
Her old vampire bloodline and curse had been completely removed by the two bats.Now, Lilith was a full-fledged Fangblood, her body warm and alive once more.
Zede was about to see what kind of Watch Lilith could awaken with, but before he could take out a blank one, the Joker Bat fluttered out on its own and perched on her shoulder.
Zede raised a brow."Well, well… looks like a mama's bat."
