Nevaeh wasn't even that surprised when Alex said he was Noreen's father.
Ever since she found out about the shady relationship between Maria and Alex, she'd had a suspicion that Noreen wasn't actually Gerardo's daughter.
I mean, Noreen looked nothing like him.
Instead, her features were a striking copy of Alex's. At first, it was just a guess, with no real proof.
But now, with Alex's own admission, it felt like her suspicions were just confirmed.
But the most shocked person in the room was definitely Gerardo.
His beloved daughter, the person more important to him than anything, was being claimed by another man.
In that moment, he totally forgot his fear. He stared at Alex, pushing his hands away from Noreen. "What did you say? This is my daughter!"
In response, Alex let out a string of vicious curses and suddenly pulled out his knife, swinging it straight toward Gerardo's head.
