Chapter 75 - This is Urara!

Hi! My name is Haru Urara, and I used to live in Kochi with my mom and dad! Then I met lots of new friends and even made promises too! And because I wanted to fulfill those promises, I decided to leave my home and come here! To this super strange but funny place filled with funny new faces! And ever since I was little, I really loved running too! Then I learned something, that I don't just want to run to win anymore… I also want to make people smile. That's why I came here! To appear on the big screen! And when I win… I'll make the whole world a 'smilier' place!

Then instantly, another voice sharply cut through.

"I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!"

It was King Halo, still visibly rattled by Urara's existence inside what she thought was her room.

"W-What I meant was—"

"WHY are you here?!"

"Oh!" Urara turned brightly toward Fuji Kiseki.

"Fu-chan let me stay here!"

"She's such a nice person!"

Kiseki immediately let out a small laugh.

"W-Well… not exactly that way," waving her hands in dismissal.

"It was more accurate to say she was assigned to this room."

"Assigned?!" King exclaimed in disbelief.

"Wait—"

"She's actually a student here?!"

"Based on the information available to me…" Kiseki replied calmly, "Yes, I believe that is highly likely."

"Otherwise, Rudolf would never have personally instructed me to escort her to a room under the Ritto Dormitory."

She casually gestured toward the room records.

"Even the dormitory system clearly lists Urara-chan as one of the residents under my supervision."

"W-WHAT?!" King Halo blurted out.

"How is that even possible?!"

"How could someone at her level enter such a prestigious academy?!"

"Well!" Haru Urara immediately interrupted.

She proudly stood up with both hands pressed against her hips and her usual radiant grin.

"Don't underestimate Urara!"

"I'm clearly good enough to enter this prestigas—!"

She suddenly paused.

Her head tilted in confusion.

"…prastigos… pustiga… prestigos… prestijuice…"

Then she sharply pointed toward King.

"Pass-the-juice Academy!"

"It's prestigious!" King snapped back instantly.

After that exchange, King simply glared breathlessly at Urara.

Meanwhile, Urara continued smiling brightly as though absolutely nothing unusual had happened.

As though her presence inside Tracen Academy made complete sense.

Quietly, King inhaled several times deeply.

"Composure, King…" she muttered beneath her breath.

"You are a first-rate Umamusume after all."

"We do not raise our voices merely because of pressure inflicted by others."

"We are not brutes…"

Finally regaining herself, King elegantly turned toward Fuji Kiseki.

"Would it perhaps be possible," she began gracefully, "for me to relocate to a separate dormitory chamber?"

She proudly placed a hand against her chest.

"Surely I, King Halo, a first-rate Umamusume…"

"…should not be sharing a personal room with such a substandard individual."

"I-I see…" Kiseki replied awkwardly while letting out a nervous titter.

"Besides, just look at—"

Before King Halo could even finish—

Haru Urara already grabbed her luggage and popped it open like a treasure chest.

"Whoa! What's this?!" Urara exclaimed excitedly as she pulled out a pair of lacy panties from inside.

"It looks so grown up!"

"Wha—"

King froze.

Then instantly turned bright red.

"WHA-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" she screamed.

The students gathered around the doorway and immediately began murmuring amongst themselves.

Meanwhile, King lunged forward and quickly snatched the item away from Urara, "GIVE THAT BACK!" before stuffing it back into the luggage in pure panic.

But before she could recover...

"Whoa! What's that?!" Urara already dove straight back into the suitcase again.

"STOP!" King protested desperately, now completely overwhelmed by the pink-haired menace before her.

Meanwhile...

As the two began wrestling over the luggage, Fuji Kiseki awkwardly laughed from the doorway.

"I-I think I'll leave you two for now... Please inform me if anything you guys need… okay?"

With that, slowly, Kiseki backed away together with the other nosy students watching the chaos unfold.

Then she quietly shut the door behind them.

Leaving only the sounds of their ongoing struggle inside the room.

At the same time...

King Halo had completely forgotten about her original request to change roommates.

Mostly because every ounce of her attention was now occupied by that pink little gremlin rampaging through her belongings.

And before she even realized it, it had already taken most of the day...

Only after a long period of nonstop struggling did the chaos finally settle.

Urara eventually ran out of energy and slumped down, lying flat on the floor.

Meanwhile, King collapsed backward onto her bed, completely breathless, surrounded by clothes and belongings scattered across the room.

"Wh… what… just… hap… happened…?" she muttered in utter disbelief.

Still barely clinging to sanity, she then casually turned her head to the side.

Instantly, her eyes widened, and she froze.

Lying directly beside her... was a pair of underwear decorated with carrot cartoons.

The moment she saw it, King screamed once again.

Louder than before.

Then, the second round began as King went and wrestled with that pink gremlin once more.

Except this time...

...Without mercy...

...

...

...

Moments later...

Urara was now kneeling obediently on the floor with a bright red mark on her head from being smacked repeatedly by King's handmade paper fan.

A "disciplinary fan," as King proudly called it.

Meanwhile, King stood above her with crossed arms while furiously tapping her foot.

And under her strict supervision, Urara was finally folding the scattered clothes properly...

Until—

"Done!" Haru Urara proudly declared while wiping imaginary sweat from her forehead as though she had just completed an impossible task.

Immediately, King Halo turned toward the folded clothes on the floor.

And stumped again.

The clothes had been folded in the most chaotic way imaginable.

Some were upside down.

Some were inside out.

And worst of all...

Urara had mixed both of their clothes together.

Instantly—

King exploded again.

"W-WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

There, she was just about to lunge toward Urara with her disciplinary fan once more.

But before she did...

She suddenly stopped.

"…Wait."

King blinked.

"Aren't I supposed to be continuing the academy tour right now…?"

Then she sharply turned toward Urara.

"And weren't you supposed to attend orientation as well?!"

"O… orientation…?"

Urara tilted her head while thinking deeply.

Then suddenly, she smacked her fist into her open palm.

"Oh! Right! I forgot!"

King immediately sighed in complete defeat.

Then she pulled out her phone and checked the time.

"What's the time now..." she murmured as she did.

And then, she was staggered yet again.

Realizing that she had just...

...spent nearly the entire orientation period dealing with this girl.

The entire academy tour.

Gone.

Completely wasted just like that.

All because she got dragged into chaos with this pink menace incarnation.

Instantly, King Halo turned toward the door, ready to sprint out and salvage whatever remained of the academy tour.

But—

"Wait!" Haru Urara suddenly called out, and King instantly stopped mid-charge.

Her body twisted awkwardly while still frozen in her running stance.

"W-What do you want now…?" she asked irritably.

There she saw Urara already halfway changed into her school uniform.

"Can you help tie my ribbon?" Urara asked brightly.

"My mom usually helps me with it, so I don't really know how…"

Then she pointed toward her hair.

"Oh! And my hair too! Can you help me tie them up?"

"Haaaaaarh?!" King turned sharply toward her in utter disbelief, one eye twitching violently, "Why would I help you with that?!"

"Let alone I'm a renowned first-rated Uma—"

Before King could finish, Urara interruptedly slapped her hands together above her head and bowed dramatically.

"Pleeeease!!!"

At that, King gritted her teeth.

Every logical part of her screamed to leave immediately and catch up with the orientation group.

Yet somehow...

That pink little gremlin's pleading completely rooted her in place.

And she couldn't move...

Not even a single step.

Not even a single inch of any part of her body.

Until finally—

"…Fine," King groaned in defeat while turning back toward Urara.

"But I'm only showing you this once, understood?!"

Instantly—

Haru Urara's eyes sparkled brightly.

"Whoa! REALLY?! YEAH!"

She threw both hands into the air excitedly.

"THANK…!"

Then suddenly—

She paused midway.

"…you…?"

Clearly, having forgotten King Halo's name already.

King simply sighed in complete exhaustion as she walked toward Urara.

"It's King Halo," she replied while reaching toward the ribbon hanging loosely around Urara's collar.

Immediately—

Urara's eyes lit up once more.

"Thank you, King!"
