Chapter 149 - YGS [149]

And so, Luya began constructing the spectator stands!

He transformed the area surrounding the Action Duel Stage into a layout where audiences could watch comfortably. Moreover, he created an enormous screen capable of projecting and enlarging the events happening on the duel field in real time.

Without hesitation, Luya acted immediately. Using the system's Land Purchase function, he bought a Duel Arena Audience Module.

In an instant, 80 million Mora vanished from his balance, leaving him with 920 million. But in return came a magnificently designed arena—perfect for viewing Action Duels!

At that moment, the system's voice echoed:

[Ding! Congratulations, Host, on obtaining a venue suitable for tournaments!]

[Duel Stage Upgrade System now unlocked!]

[Would you like to upgrade the [Action Duel Stage]?]

[Required Mora: 200 million.]

[Required open space: 4,000 square meters.]

Seeing this prompt, Luya quickly realized that because he now possessed a tournament-grade venue, the system had automatically triggered an upgrade option. And this upgrade—it required 4,000 square meters of space!

That meant the scale would be enormous.

A larger duel arena meant hosting even grander matches and accommodating far more spectators. Luya could even turn this Action Duel Stage into a paid-entry attraction. With a space that large, he could organize professional tournaments featuring top duelists competing regularly.

...

The upgrade would cost 200 million Mora and 4,000 square meters of free area. Yet since he expected to earn much more later that day—and had plenty of available land—Luya didn't mind spending it.

However, there were still many customers around the arena. They could all tell Luya wasn't finished building, so before he even asked Hu Tao, Xingqiu, or the others to clear the area, the customers had already moved to safer spots on their own.

After a short while, once Luya confirmed the area was empty, he initiated the upgrade.

Two hundred million Mora and 4,000 square meters were deducted instantly. The Action Duel Stage emitted a dazzling light that illuminated the entire shop.

When the light faded, a colossal Duel Tournament Arena now stood where the Action Duel Stage had been. Both the field and the giant screen were far larger than before, and the venue could now accommodate many more spectators.

Luya estimated the new arena could seat at least 3,000 people.

...

When Charlotte saw the newly constructed arena, she couldn't believe her eyes.

What kind of technological capability could possibly achieve something like this? If she hadn't witnessed it herself, she would never have believed it. She hurriedly took several photos as proof of its authenticity.

Since there was no such thing as photo editing technology in Teyvat, every picture was genuine.

"Such a huge duel field?!"

"What's this for?!"

"Yeah… I'm so curious…"

"Why is this Duel Stage so big?"

"Does it have some special purpose???"

Many customers stared at the massive Action Duel Stage, puzzled yet eager for an explanation.

Just then, Yun Jin happened to arrive at the shop. Seeing the crowd gathered around the new arena, she approached curiously.

As everyone murmured in confusion, Luya began to explain:

"This is an Action Duel Stage—identical in function to the one from Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. The environments within this duel arena are fully physical. And unlike standard duels, in this Action Duel Stage, Action Cards are scattered throughout the field. If a duelist can grab one, they can use it during the duel."

When Luya finished explaining, the customers' eyes lit up with excitement as they stared at the Action Duel Stage… eager to see exactly how it would be used.
