Chapter 150 - YGS [150]

"To use this Action Duel Stage," Luya announced, "you'll need not only agility, but also dueling skill! If someone can use their Vision to channel elemental power during an Action Duel, that would be quite the advantage—they'd definitely have the upper hand!"

"Boss Yun seems like she could handle it—her agility's impressive!"

"Mm, indeed!"

"Hall Master Hu runs around every day—she's got great movement too~!"

"Young Master Xingqiu wouldn't be bad either…"

"Don't forget Lady Yuheng—her reflexes are excellent! On this Duel Stage, she'd be unstoppable!"

For a while, customers enthusiastically discussed which of Liyue Harbor's notable figures would make the best Action Duelist.

Seeing the growing excitement, Luya decided it was time to hold a tournament.

After all, professional dueling tournaments would eventually become a major pillar of the Yu-Gi-Oh! industry.

However, time was limited today, so organizing a full-scale Liyue-wide event wasn't feasible.

But a regular in-store tournament? That was doable. And for that, Luya would make use of his newly constructed Action Duel Arena!

Conveniently, he had nothing else planned for the day. With Ganyu flawlessly managing daily operations, Luya didn't need to lift a finger. All he had to do was steer the overall direction—like a true captain at the helm.

...

As the crowd continued to buzz with excitement, the scene grew a bit chaotic. Luya raised his left hand, drawing out an Equip Spell Card—[Megamorph]. An engraved stone wheel materialized before him, its surface carved with glowing runes.

Luya activated [Divine Hand Lv11]!

A blinding light surged from his left hand. The sturdy, rune-etched stone disk disintegrated into fine dust, merging into his body.

As the light coursed through him, Luya's body began to grow taller and taller. His clothes expanded seamlessly along with him.

One meter... two... three... ten... fifteen!

He finally stopped growing at around fifteen meters tall.

The sudden transformation left everyone completely dumbfounded.

"What the—?!"

"What's happening?!"

"The shopkeeper's... growing?!"

"He's still getting taller!!"

"Good grief... what in Teyvat?!"

"This is insane!!"

"He's over fifteen meters tall now?!"

"Wait… is this Eren Yeager?!"

"Are those Inazuman light novels true after all?!"

"That novel must've been his autobiography!!!"

"Archons help us—I have no words!!!"

...

Now a towering giant, Luya stood atop the Action Duel Stage, his presence impossible to ignore.

"Everyone!" he declared. "I will now host an Action Duel tournament! I'll be randomly selecting participants from the audience!"

As a giant, Luya's voice boomed powerfully across the entire shop. The customers could hear him with crystal clarity.

Especially Charlotte—the Fontaine reporter who had come all this way—her worldview broke apart yet again.

Cutting-edge machines, instant construction of massive structures... and now a man who could literally become a giant?! Unbelievable.

And yet, she had witnessed it all with her own eyes. Utterly surreal. Still, she quickly began snapping photos—this was news gold.

..

When the customers heard Luya announce that he'd be picking random participants for the Action Duel, most immediately froze in fear. After all, not everyone was physically agile!

If it were Xiao, for instance, he could leap and dash across the arena with ease—an Action Duel like this would be his domain entirely.

...

"Participant selection—begin!"

As Luya's deep voice echoed through the store, two beams of light began circling the crowd. One of them spun round and round until it stopped on Yun Jin!

She was stunned as the pillar of light enveloped her. "M-me?!"

The second beam then began to move, spinning again and again—and finally came to rest on a girl with long white hair.

Luya looked closer. It was Shenhe!

She had come at Cloud Retainer's suggestion—to stroll around and perhaps gain some unexpected insight. Over the past few days, she had learned a bit about Yu-Gi-Oh!, enough to understand the basic rules.

However, she didn't yet have her own deck.

And now, she had been randomly chosen to compete on the Action Duel Stage?!
