Chief Kim gripped the steering wheel as if it were the only thing keeping him sane. "You know," he began, glancing sideways at Raven, "I'm really glad you agreed to do Surviving the Fall. It's been months since your last drama ended and months since you've accepted a drama offer without breaking something first."
Raven, sitting lazily in the passenger seat, adjusted his sunglasses and said nothing. The morning sunlight slid across his face, turning the sharp angles of his jaw into something sculpted, almost divine. Almost… because divinity didn't look bored and devilish the way he did.
"I didn't agree because of you," Raven finally said. "The script's not terrible. And Jehoon's the type who doesn't bore me too fast."
Chief Kim scoffed. "You mean the type who doesn't take your bullshit quietly."
"Same thing."
