"Bang!"
The shockwave swept in all directions, and rocks collapsed, but Gale was unharmed. He hid under Aggramar's Shield, and although he suffered a severe impact, he relied on the powerful Arcane Energy within him to withstand Shimruk's hooves.
It didn't even affect his control over the devourer of gods.
"Boom—"
The divine powers of the three loa intertwined, sending Shimruk flying. A large chunk of flesh was sliced off by the divine power, and a bloody hole appeared in Shimruk's waist.
Shimruk looked at Gale in shock. He had never expected Gale to be able to unleash such an attack. Was that spellbook really that terrifying?
He changed his mind; this Dark Troll must not be allowed to escape, otherwise he would become the loa's nightmare.
Gale was about to continue his attack when a wave of drowsiness hit him, causing him to fall to the ground and cut his forehead. The pain temporarily freed him from sleepiness, but he knew that the next curse attack would come very soon.
He absolutely could not sit idly and wait for death; he had to stay awake to kill Shimruk.
He fully activated the Holy Light within him, launching an assault against the curse. In an instant, Gale became much more energetic. The curse temporarily receded, buying him a lot of time.
He quickly activated the devourer of gods and attacked Shimruk again.
Shimruk was already prepared, enduring the pain to roll and dodge Gale's attack. Although he was seriously injured, it did not affect his agility.
Seeing this, Gale immediately flashed in front of him and launched a divine power impact directly at his face.
"Boom—"
Shimruk timely raised his divine power shield, and the four divine powers collided, once again erupting in a powerful shockwave.
With Aggramar's Shield, Gale was not harmed but was pushed back hundreds of yards. Shimruk took the full force of the shockwave, with blood flowing from his eyes and nose, and rolled down the mountain peak. The sharp rocks from the previous shockwave's destruction cut many small wounds on his body. Although not fatal, it intensified his pain.
The reindeer climbing the mountain quickly scrambled up, using their bodies to block Shimruk. Shimruk stood up again, looking at the reindeer he had crushed to death, his heart filled with grief.
He looked at Gale; this Dark Troll must die!!!
Gale sneered, he had the same intention!
Not only Shimruk, but these reindeer would not survive either.
He put Aggramar's Shield on his arm, took out Nash's Fang, and unleashed an Extreme Cold Storm.
Shimruk looked at the heavy snow and felt something was very wrong. He used his divine power to protect the reindeer as much as possible, but he was not Shim-Eba, who could restrain the Extreme Cold Storm. His divine power was frost divine power, and although it could weaken the power of the Extreme Cold Storm, it still could not prevent the reindeer from being frozen.
"Damn Dark Troll, I'm going to kill you!"
Shimruk howled in pain, condensing divine power to attack Gale, and a large chunk of ice froze Gale within it.
"Since you like to freeze others, then taste what it's like to be frozen!"
Unfortunately, his freezing could not stop Gale.
Aggramar's Shield automatically emitted a shield to protect Gale, who was completely unharmed inside the ice. He used Flash to escape from the ice.
Shimruk, unwilling to give up, tried to freeze him again, but Gale was completely fine and even getting closer. After several attempts, Shimruk finally snapped out of his hatred; wasting divine power like this was putting him at a great disadvantage.
Gale swung Nash's Fang, and countless ice spears shot towards Shimruk. Shimruk quickly dodged, and Gale flashed in front of him, the devourer of gods delivering a close-range kill, piercing his neck.
"Aow—"
Shimruk howled in pain, enduring the excruciating pain to freeze the wound. He looked at Gale furiously and no longer dodged, using his divine power to pin him down, then reared up with his front hooves and stomped on the shield.
"Boom—"
The shockwave erupted again, and the frozen reindeer nearby were shattered into pieces by the ice, with blood, flesh, and ice scattered everywhere.
Shimruk ignored his sorrow and continued to attack Gale.
Gale withstood one blow and immediately flashed away. He continuously flashed to his side, Nash's Fang gleaming with cold light, and a massive ice spear impacted the wound, piercing his belly. Then, before he could react, Gale flashed into mid-air again. He activated the power of the three loa, piercing his spine.
Shimruk collapsed to the ground, trying his best to mobilize divine power to reconnect his spine.
How could Gale give him a chance? Nash's Fang continuously condensed ice spears, interrupting his divine power. The devourer of gods condensed a Soul Blade and plunged it into his body.
The pain in his soul was unbearable for Shimruk; he could only give up on healing his spine and fully resist the Soul Blade's attack.
Gale simultaneously tugged at the Soul Blade and used Nash's Fang to ravage Shimruk's body.
Shimruk was in a dilemma; if he ignored the Soul Blade, he would be instantly devoured by the devourer of gods. If he ignored Nash's Fang, he would bleed dry and die.
Either way, he would not survive.
Facing this situation, Shimruk suddenly felt regret. If he hadn't betrayed Dubrakan, Dubrakan could have saved him; he had destroyed his own hope of survival.
Suddenly, a wave of drowsiness hit Gale, and he almost fell to the ground.
Shimruk saw a glimmer of hope for survival and immediately struggled desperately. He didn't expect to break free from the Soul Blade, only to hold on a little longer, waiting for the curse to activate, to win a chance for a counter-kill.
Just then, a figure suddenly appeared beside them.
"Maiev?" Gale asked in surprise, "Why didn't you leave?"
"You didn't leave, so how could I leave?" Maiev said affectionately, "You are my beloved, even if we die, we will die together."
Saying that, she walked in front of Shimruk, raised her moonblade, and swung it down.
Shimruk's head rolled off, and his soul could no longer hold on, being pulled from his body by the Soul Blade and entering the devourer of gods.
Gale could no longer hold on and fell to the ground, falling unconscious.
The devourer of gods slipped from his hand, its pages flipping to a blank page in the middle, where a white reindeer pattern emerged, still struggling. Soon, the image froze, and Shimruk, the Snowfield Sage, was listed.
Maiev rushed over to check and breathed a sigh of relief when she found that Gale was only asleep.
She took out a teleportation crystal and activated a portal. With a wave of her hand, Gale, along with the fallen devourer of gods, floated inside.
After the portal disappeared, only the massive reindeer corpse and the massive snow leopard corpse remained, along with a mountain of reindeer ice sculptures.
A few days later, the trolls of the Snow Mountain Tribe climbed the mountain and were scared half to death by the scene. But they quickly carried the bodies of the two loa back, extracted the divine power within them to cultivate berserkers, and finally, with this research, they successfully settled in Zul'Drak, completely integrating into the Drakkari Tribe.
