Brunnhildar is skilled at taming polar bears, and every Ice Vrykul is a top Beast Master Hunter. However, they are skilled at using spears, not bows and arrows.
Gale followed the chieftain into Brunnhildar Village and gained a general understanding of their strength. Based on the size of the village, sending out a hundred soldiers would be a struggle for them. Moreover, these women were unruly and showed no respect for him, their 'short' king.
"Aisley, what are you saying? Make us obey this scrawny fellow's orders?"
When the Brunnhildar chieftain announced to the Ice Vrykul that they would seek revenge for Torim, a tall Ice Vrykul stepped forward, looking at Gale with disdain, "Such a fellow, ten of them together wouldn't satisfy me. What right does he have to order me?"
The other Ice Vrykul burst into boisterous laughter, agreeing with her wild words.
Gale's mouth twitched: You're dreaming, don't you know how ugly you are?
The chieftain looked at her angrily, "Mildred, don't be rude. Your Majesty Gail's strength far surpasses ours. If we want to avenge Torim, we must obey his commands."
Mildred looked at Gale disdainfully and provocatively said, "Darling, do you dare to fight me?"
Gale smiled and nodded, "Alright!"
"Ooh-ooh—"
The Ice Vrykul cheered loudly, appreciating Gale's courage to accept the challenge.
The chieftain did not stop them; she also wanted to see how powerful Gale truly was.
Gale did not use the eternal spear or the Reaver's Scythe, as that would be too much bullying for Mildred. He took out the Greed Hydra and walked to an open space.
"Your spear seems pretty good, it's just a bit small, like you," Mildred teased.
Gale: "I can make it bigger! If you can defeat me, I'll make it bigger and give it to you!"
Mildred raised an eyebrow, "If you can defeat me, I'll obey your commands!"
"It's a deal!"
Gale stood casually and waved to Mildred: "Please!"
Mildred sneered, stepped forward, and thrust her spear at Gale's head. She held nothing back; if Gale was hit, he would surely die.
Gale dodged Mildred's spear with a sidestep. He instantly stepped forward, and the Greed Hydra pierced Mildred's arm. The blood god power on the spear automatically tried to absorb Mildred's blood, but Gale stopped it.
Mildred cried out in pain, and her spear fell to the ground. She looked at Gale in astonishment, then at the Greed Hydra.
Gale calmly said, "It seems you still need to practice."
Although Mildred was tall, neither her agility nor her strength was a match for Gale, yet she had several times Gale's strike area. How could she win?
If Gale hadn't wanted to avoid killing, he could have pierced Mildred's neck with one strike.
The Ice Vrykul were also stunned. They hadn't expected the seemingly weak Gale to possess the ability to instantly kill Mildred. Mildred, after all, was one of Brunnhildar's most excellent hunters.
"Alright!" The chieftain clapped her hands, rousing the Ice Vrykul, "Now that you have witnessed Your Majesty Gail's strength, you must all obey me obediently from now on."
The chieftain was also surprised in her heart; the strength Gale displayed was not on the same level as theirs. No wonder Aier listened to Gale's every word!
Thinking of this, she couldn't help but feel confident about the campaign against Loken.
She just didn't know if Aier had convinced the Frost Giants yet.
Aier, of course, did not fail her mission. Hodir's sons had actually been passively beaten all these years. They didn't know why Torim and the Ice Vrykul had waged war on them. After hearing Aier's explanation, Hodir's sons all expressed their indignation.
Loken not only plotted against them but also captured and imprisoned Hodir.
This grudge must be avenged!
When Aier spoke of reconciling with the Ice Vrykul, Hodir's sons immediately said it was not a problem.
Yokum, the king of the Frost Giants, said, "We are currently under threat from Loken's Steel Vrykul. A Steel Vrykul artisan named Fjon has established an Anvil of Fjon to the east, using Eternal Flame to forge Thunder-forged Iron Giants. These Thunder-forged Iron Giants have been attacking us, and if we cannot eliminate their threat, we may not be able to send troops to deal with Loken."
"Eternal Flame?" Aier pondered, Your Majesty Gail should be interested in this.
She said to Yokum, "Please rest assured, Your Majesty Gail will definitely help you solve them."
"I hope so!"
Yokum was noncommittal. If Your Majesty Gail, as Aier described, couldn't even deal with Fjon, then attacking Loken would be a suicide mission.
Aier didn't pay attention to Yokum's attitude. She flew back to Brunnhildar Village and told Gale about the Eternal Flame.
As expected, Gale was extremely interested.
"Steel Vrykul artisans? I wonder if they are using Titan forging technology!"
Gale said with a smile, but Aier did not hear any intention of exchanging technology in his words; instead, there was a strong scent of blood.
Summoning Dubrakan, Gale followed Aier to the east of Dannifernre. There were many strange Vrykul roaming in the wilderness. These fellows were entirely forged from steel and carried lightning, no wonder the Frost Giants couldn't defeat them.
But for Gale, they were no problem at all. He held the hammer of Kaz'goroth, flashed forward, and with one hammer blow, he disassembled the upgraded parts, then smashed them to death with another hammer blow.
Aier helped carry those parts, and they fought their way to the valley the Frost Giants spoke of.
In the valley, Fjon was busy. Seeing Gale killing Thunder-forged Iron Giants one by one, he was furious: "Damn fellow, how dare you destroy my masterpiece."
When he saw the hammer of Kaz'goroth in Gale's hand, he immediately showed a greedy look: "Little worm, give me your hammer, and I can spare your life!"
Gale sneered, flashed to his side, and hammered him to death.
The Anvil of Fjon, as mentioned by the Frost Giants, was still operating automatically. It could automatically attract an unprecedented flame to forge equipment on the anvil.
"Is this the Eternal Flame?"
Aier asked in surprise.
"Perhaps! Even if it's not, it's a good thing we've never seen before."
Gale immediately performed an Arcane analysis of the flame, and sure enough, this flame possessed the aura of a Titan. It was a pure flame differentiated from pure Arcane Energy. If pure Arcane Energy is called Well of Eternity water, then pure flame being called Eternal Flame is perfectly fine.
