Chapter 264 - Chapter 264 Azadas

Azadas awoke from his slumber, looking at the mechanical gnomes who had roused him: "What happened?"

"Azadas, Algalon has arrived!"

Azadas was overjoyed, "Is that really true?"

mechanical gnome: "We heard it from a Kaldorei."

"Kaldorei?"

Soon, Azadas met the so-called "Kaldorei."

Lamar didn't know Azadas's importance; he just felt Azadas's name sounded familiar. After telling Azadas about the Battle of Ulduar, he said: "Now Algalon has sent out two teams to find the other two Titan Guardians..."

At this moment, he suddenly realized that Azadas's name seemed to be that of a Titan Guardian.

"Are you a Titan Guardian?"

The mechanical gnomes spoke all at once: "Yes, Azadas is a Titan Guardian."

"Of course, Azadas is the King of Earth."

Lamar said: "Please allow me to send a message to King Gale; your return will strengthen the Alliance's power."

Azadas agreed. As Lamar transmitted the message, he looked at the collapsed mountain at the entrance of Uldaman: "What's going on here?"

mechanical gnome: "Lamar said it was caused by them pursuing a powerful Black Dragon."

"Black Dragon?" Azadas looked at Lamar warily; Black Dragons were members of the Guardian Dragon.

Lamar didn't know Azadas's thoughts. After transmitting the message, he said to Azadas: "King Gale asks you to wait in Uldaman; he will immediately transmit your location to Ulduar. The team looking for you will arrive here as quickly as possible."

Azadas said in a deep voice: "I heard you are pursuing a Black Dragon?"

"Yes, he is called Deathwing, an evil Black Dragon."

"Deathwing?" Azadas frowned, "When did this Black Dragon appear? And you need so many Dragon Knights to pursue him?"

Lamar spread his hands and said: "His strength is too great. Perhaps you might know his previous name—Neltharion, the Earth Guardian!"

"Neltharion!?!"

Azadas looked at Lamar in shock, "He is the leader of the Guardian Dragon; how could he be the evil Deathwing?"

Lamar recounted the events to Azadas.

"Decades ago, a great war occurred in this world. A demonic army called the Burning Legion entered this world and launched a war to destroy Azeroth..."

After listening to Lamar's narration, Azadas still couldn't believe that Neltharion had fallen.

"What evidence do you have?"

Lamar said helplessly: "You overestimate me; I am just a middle-ranking officer. Even if there were evidence, it wouldn't be with me. If you don't believe me, I can take you to pursue Deathwing."

Azadas thought for a moment and then nodded, saying: "Alright."

Lamar looked at his mount with difficulty, "I'm afraid you can only follow me on land."

Azadas said: "You just need to lead the way; I will keep up."

He instructed the mechanical gnomes to awaken Aironaya and the Earth Spirits, find a place to hide temporarily, and make a decision after he returned.

Then he followed the Dragon Knights, heading south to pursue Deathwing.

As soon as they set off, the mechanical gnomes went to awaken the Earth Spirits and Aironaya. Aironaya took the Norgannon Discs, left Uldaman, and found a hiding place.

Lamar was silent, looking at Azadas from time to time as he flew in the sky. It seemed he had messed up a good assignment; this Titan Guardian was too suspicious, wasn't he?

Azadas's vigilance was correct; Loken, known as the King of Wisdom, was very skilled at schemes and tricks. The Norgannon Discs were crucial, and unless he could confirm that Lamar and the others were allies, he would not return to Ulduar.

Verifying the truth about Deathwing would prove whether Lamar was telling the truth or lies. Therefore, Azadas had to go on this trip.

If it was true, he could help his allies defeat Deathwing. If it was false, then he would rather sacrifice himself to protect the Norgannon Discs.

Lamar contacted Navoli, and after a few days, they finally caught up with the main force on the south side of the Redridge Mountains. He had initially thought Azadas couldn't keep up with the speed of the Storm Dragon, but Azadas moved through the mountains as if on flat ground, never falling behind. This gave Lamar some understanding of the Titan Guardian's power.

On the south side of the Redridge Mountains, there was a rather good lake. Unable to shake off his pursuers, Deathwing plunged into it. He used the water in the lake to lower his body temperature, thereby stabilizing his chaotic energy. This gave him the ability to fight back, making the Storm Dragons afraid to approach.

However, this also trapped him there. Once he left the lake, he would again lose control of the chaotic energy.

Deathwing could only defend himself while absorbing the power of the earth to recover from his injuries.

Navoli also noticed this, so he divided the Dragon Knights into several small teams to take turns attacking Deathwing, slowing down his recovery speed.

Then he and Tydasshid stood on a nearby mountain, looking for Deathwing's defensive weaknesses.

At this moment, Lamar arrived with Azadas. Azadas was also surprised when he saw Deathwing.

"Neltharion? How did you turn into this monstrous form?"

He walked directly towards Deathwing, looking in shock at the flames constantly emanating from him, and the hard source ingot armor.

"Lord Azadas, it's dangerous!"

Tydasshid frowned: "Is he Azadas?"

"Yes!" Lamar said: "Perhaps my eloquence isn't very good; he actually suspects I'm lying to him."

Navoli ordered: "All Dragon Knights, move out! If Azadas is in danger, rescue him immediately."

Tydasshid also ascended, but he did not join the Dragon Knights. Instead, he came to Azadas's side, raising Aggramar's Shield, ready to rescue Azadas at any moment.

Azadas looked at Tydasshid in surprise, his gaze lingering on the hammer of Kaz'goroth for a few seconds, before looking at Deathwing again.

To everyone's surprise, Deathwing did not attack after seeing Azadas. Instead, he slowly crawled up, came before Azadas, prostrated himself on the ground, and said with a sobbing voice: "Azadas, I can't hold on any longer. Please end my life."

Everyone gasped in shock; they never imagined that Deathwing would not only refrain from attacking Azadas but would also beg Azadas to kill him.

Azadas crouched down and placed his hand on Deathwing's head, "My friend, the Titans will remember your contributions."

"This world will also remember your sacrifice."

"You are tired, and indeed, it's time for you to rest."
