Chapter 148 - 148: Car Airdrop

Benny's skill at stealing aircraft was top-notch—no one could deny that.

Even though this mission was insanely difficult, he somehow pulled it off in just two hours.

When the crew arrived at the airport and saw what he'd brought back, everyone was dumbfounded.

"Dude… you stole a Galaxy Transporter?"

Tej's eyes went wide.

Benny grinned smugly.

"Yep. Real deal. You could fit an entire train in this baby."

Dom and the others exchanged stunned looks.

The "Galaxy" Transporter was a massive strategic military aircraft—the biggest in active U.S. service.

Its takeoff weight was nearly 380 tons, capable of hauling tanks, helicopters, or even mobile bridges.

It could reach any battlefield on Earth without refueling.

Dom craned his neck up at the steel giant, utterly shaken.

Even a single tire was taller than him!

Just painting that thing would take 2,600 tons of paint, and each wing weighed over 40,000 pounds.

Its four engines produced enough power to rival 800 cars, devouring 42 tons of air per minute.

It could carry five Apache helicopters at once.

And somehow, Benny had just… stolen it.

Dom couldn't believe this quiet guy could pull off something so impossible.

Leon's team was on another level.

If there was one weakness, it was that they still lacked a strong hacker. Otherwise, they'd be unbeatable.

That thought made Dom feel a little better.

"Let's move. Time's tight." Leon ordered firmly.

The nose of the aircraft had already opened, forming a ramp from the cockpit to the tail.

They had to drive in from the front—backing out during the drop would be way too messy.

Inside, the space was enormous.

It could easily fit not ten, but a hundred cars if needed.

This wide-body plane could park three or four vehicles side by side.

Everyone silently drove their cars up the ramp, parked, and secured them.

Once all ten cars were loaded, Benny headed for the cockpit.

He'd be piloting the plane himself.

Normally, such a massive craft required a two-person crew, but given the situation, that wasn't an option.

If something went wrong, he'd just have to handle it solo.

After a series of complex maneuvers, the engines roared to life.

The aircraft surged forward, accelerating to several hundred kilometers per hour.

The g-forces slammed everyone back into their seats.

Their chests tightened as if pressed by invisible hands.

Without the restraints, they would've been thrown across the cabin.

Seconds later, the behemoth lifted gracefully into the air—

like a gray eagle spreading its wings to conquer the endless sky.

It was the middle of the night.

They flew nonstop. By the next afternoon, they'd reach Azerbaijan.

Plenty of time. The crew dozed off, resting before the storm.

The next day, Leon sat calmly in his car, waiting.

Ten vehicles in total—six from his crew, four from Dom's.

Benny stayed behind to pilot the plane, making it an even ten.

Every car had been modified to deploy and cut loose parachutes mid-air.

As the cargo bay doors opened, Benny's voice came through the comms:

"Alright, folks. Target zone below. Time to jump."

"Go!!" Leon shouted, slamming the accelerator.

Diomas roared like a beast and shot out of the aircraft first.

"Yee-haw!" Leon yelled, exhilarated.

Below them stretched a boundless sky. Clouds drifted like waves beneath his tires.

The car's nose tilted downward, diving toward the earth like a missile.

Free-fall. The force was pure adrenaline.

The vehicle punched through a layer of white cloud, mist swirling around the windshield.

Leon looked out, grinning wildly.

"What a rush."

The clouds parted—revealing a vast panorama of mountains and rivers.

From this height, rivers looked like tiny silver threads, mountains like soft buns.

The roads below were thinner than hair.

Even with the cabin sealed, the sheer speed was dizzying—more thrilling than any roller coaster.

One wrong move, and they'd be nothing but dust.

On the ground below, soldiers from Moses Jakande's private army stood frozen.

They stared at the sky in disbelief.

Cars were falling from the clouds.

"What the hell… is that!?"

Moses, bald head gleaming under the sun, gawked in shock.

He'd seen supply drops. He'd seen paratroopers.

But cars? From the sky? Never.

"What kind of lunatic would even think of this!?"

Leon's pulse quickened as the ground rushed up.

This—this was the kind of madness he lived for.

At 3,000 meters, he hit the parachute release.

Boom!

The canopy exploded open above the car, jerking it violently upward.

The drag slowed the descent, though the jolt almost made him black out.

His body tensed against the G-forces, stomach churning—but he held firm.

One by one, the other cars deployed their chutes, filling the sky with white canopies like giant mushrooms.

People all across the valley looked up in awe.

Even with the chutes, the descent was still fast—around five meters per second.

Manageable, but still deadly if mistimed.

Leon kept his eyes locked on the approaching ground.

Boom!

His car slammed onto the road, kicking up a storm of dust.

The suspension creaked, tires screeched—and then steadied.

"Landing complete. Cutting parachute lines," said Momo, his AI assistant.

A metallic click! echoed as the chute cables snapped free, fluttering away into the wind.

Leon didn't even have to touch a button.

Way more efficient than the old system.

He loved it.

Moments later, the rest of the crew touched down safely, each on the same stretch of highway.

"Let's roll!" Leon shifted gears, foot slamming the pedal.

Diomas roared, dust billowing behind.

The King had landed—

and Azerbaijan was about to feel it.
