From outer space, anyone watching might think the Moon had just been struck by another meteorite.

Covered in lunar dust, Chen Xi spat out grit, fuming."Damn dog woman—a sneak attack!?"
Since the day he made his debut, he had never suffered such a loss.And now he'd been ambushed by—well, not Shining Tiga—but the Twin-Star Captain Dog Woman!

Before he could even stand, Carol struck again.A near-light-speed side kick sent him flying once more.
Great. The moment he got up, he was sent smashing through who knew how many more mountain ranges.
Each collision cracked through lunar rock like thunder.If it had been some glass-cannon mage in his place, that first punch alone would've turned them into cosmic dust.
Chen Xi was tough—ridiculously tough—but even he felt it.His skin tingled with pain, and a few of his arm hairs had actually snapped.
And that was saying something—his hair could withstand adamantium!He usually had to shave using Heat Vision, because even adamantium razors couldn't cut it.For Carol to snap a few strands meant she really was a monster.Her punches could probably shatter adamantium into fragments!
Climbing out of a pile of rubble, Chen Xi shook his head and slipped directly into Subspace, refusing to give her another free shot.
"Damn it! Where'd he go!?"
Carol frowned as she scanned the barren lunar plain.She knew he must be hiding somewhere in the shadows, waiting to ambush her in return.
But Chen Xi wasn't in any rush.He planned to drag this out—after all, she couldn't maintain her Binary Form for a full twenty-four hours.
Then, as he got closer to her, he noticed something strange—The pendant around his neck was absorbing her energy!
His eyes widened."This… is the Space Stone!?"
Of course—it hit him all at once.Carol's power came from the Space Stone.
At that same moment, Carol felt something odd too—Her energy was trickling away, bit by bit. Not much, but still…
BOOM!
She roared, slamming a fist into the void where she sensed her power vanishing.But she couldn't reach him—the strength needed to break space itself was far beyond her.
A person who could shatter space with a punch? She'd never met one.Then again, this was the Marvel Universe—such monsters definitely existed.
"Heh, Carol, Carol… too bad for you. Unless your power exceeds that of a black hole, you'll never break my space."
Chen Xi chuckled smugly inside Subspace.He'd never seen anyone truly punch through it before.
Still, hiding forever wasn't his style.After teasing her enough, he finally emerged.
Appearing silently behind her, he grinned—and kicked her hard right in the butt.
Carol shot through the air like a comet.This time, it was her turn to play the human football.
Her reputation for being headstrong was well-earned—just like in the movies.But as she stopped herself midair, her face flushed crimson.
"F—! You bastard! You shameless jerk!!"
Where the hell do you think you're kicking!?Ever heard of basic decency!?
Fuming, Carol spat curses like plasma bursts.She had never been treated this way before.
Chen Xi, on the other hand, had no concept of shame.He just grinned wider.
"Oops, slipped! What a shame—I didn't quite feel how that was.Maybe next time I'll use my hand instead! Hahahaha!"
Carol's face burned hotter than her photon blasts."You filthy—bastard! I'll blow your damn head off!"
She darted forward, light-speed fast——but passed straight through his body.
"Hmph. You think you can sneak up on me? Not a chance!"
Chen Xi sneered, vanishing again.When she turned to brace for an attack, he suddenly reappeared beside her——and smashed his fist into her temple.
THUD!!
"Damn it!!"
Carol was sent plummeting into the lunar surface, slamming hundreds of meters deep into the rock.She had sensed his punch—but the moment she struck back, space twisted, and her attack went wide.
"Ahh!! You cowardly, despicable worm! Fight me head-on if you dare!!" she roared furiously.
Chen Xi laughed. "Golden Lion King, huh? Not bad!"
After that, the one-sided beating continued.Chen Xi darted in and out of Subspace like a phantom, toying with her endlessly.Each strike, each teleport made her temper boil hotter.
Her teeth clenched, her golden aura flaring like a superheated reactor.
"Damn you! Stop hitting my ass!!"
"AHH!! Hit me in the head if you dare!!"
"F—!! You pervert! Quit hitting my chest!!"
"F—! F—! Are you addicted to smacking me there, you shameless bastard!!"
"I'm done! I'm done! You win, you hear me!?"
"Ahhh!! I give up, okay!?"
Chen Xi knew brute force alone wouldn't take her down easily.After all, across the multiverse, top-tier duels could drag on for millennia.Beating someone of equal tier was hard.
Especially when that someone was Captain Marvel, the cosmic cockroach of durability.
"Heh, so you admit defeat? Then tell me—are you still going to meddle in my business with Nick Fury?"
"I…"
Carol hesitated. She owed Fury a favor.
"Alright then. Guess we keep going."
Chen Xi raised a fist again, and she immediately threw up her hands in surrender.
"Wait! I'm out! I won't interfere anymore!"
She couldn't afford to lose more face.This shameless man—abusing space manipulation, tough as hell, and just as slippery—was impossible to fight fairly.
"You can keep watching from the sidelines," Chen Xi said with a smirk."Maybe one day you'll realize Fury's the liar here.He struck first. I only killed him in self-defense."
With that, Chen Xi turned and flew toward Earth.
Meanwhile, back on the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft, Nick Fury paced nervously.It had been far too long, and they still hadn't returned.A bad feeling gnawed at him.
Could that man really be a match for her?Captain Marvel—the woman who single-handedly held off the Kree Empire outside the Solar System?
A voice suddenly echoed through the air, dripping with mockery.
"Nick Fury… looks like you're disappointed."
Fury froze. His blood ran cold.
He was back—Chen Xi was back first.
