*~Gabrielle's POV~*
Waking up to this beautiful view wasn't part of my daily card.
I sat up as his huge back faced me. He was sitting on the bed, his eyes fixed on something in front of him.
I got up. "Good morning, husband."
He peeked over his shoulder, his silver hair falling across his face. I gulped. I couldn't even see his full face, but still…damn. The man was hot.
What a crazy man.
"Good morning, wife," he said in that thick morning voice. The vibration of it traveled straight through me—down to my very flowers. I bit my tongue.
Since when did I become a pervert? Especially over him.
I leaned forward to peek at what he was reading—it was a map. His focus was so sharp it made me smile.
"Gabrielle?" he said.
"Yes, husband."
A frown creased his face, like he was confused why I always ended my sentence with husband.
"I'll be needing you more than ever now," he said.
I blinked. Needing me? In what way? On the bed?
