Snow gasped, turning sharply. Adrian's hand wrapped around hers, his grip firm and unrelenting despite his unconscious state. She tried to pull free, but his hold was like an iron grip.
"Let go," she whispered, tugging again, but his fingers only tightened.
Panic flashed in her eyes. She tried prying his hand off with her other hand, but it was as if his body refused to let her go. "You're supposed to be asleep," she muttered under her breath, struggling in frustration.
When she finally managed to loosen his grip, she took a quick step back. But before she could move further away, Adrian's arm shot up again, pulling her hard toward him.
Her body collided against his chest, the sudden force knocking the air from her lungs. His arm wrapped firmly around her waist, holding her in place.
