Multhi: "What are you doing here?" He stared at the archangelic figure, confusion clear in his voice. "Why would an angel descend to a place such as this?"
Uriel: He folded his wings inward, their light dimming against the air of the world. "Because this strand of time is no longer warded, nor is it safe for thee." His gaze hardened, distant and burdened. "A great stirring hath echoed through this timeline. Power hath surged where it ought not, and such tremors do not go unanswered."
Multhi: "You sound kind of funny." He snickered a bit before getting elbowed in the ribs by Tiffany. "Oof-"
Tiffany: She focused her attention on him, "What do you mean?"
Uriel: "The one you call, Valkun, has achieved power that should never be given to anyone."
Multhi: His brow furrowed, the humor fading from his face. "What kind of power are we talking about?"
Uriel: His wings shifted faintly, feathers catching the light like dull steel. "A borrowed flame, wrested from a throne not his own. Such power devours both realm and bearer, and leaves naught but ruin in its wake. Death's Flame."
Tiffany: She stepped closer to Multhi, unease clear in her voice. "So… what happens to us?"
Uriel: He looked between them, eyes heavy with knowing. "If ye remain, thou shalt be seen. And if thou art seen, thou shalt be hunted."
Tiffany: "So we are supposed to just abandon everything?"
A portal tore open nearby, and out came Radna, the King of the Unseen.
Radna: He stretched himself out as he walked up to them. "Yeah, well, kid, it's either that, or you get swallowed by the concept of death."
Uriel: "Ah, this is my dear friend, Radna. Slayer of Luc-."
Radna: He raised a hand immediately, "Don't say his name, they aren't protected like we are."
Multhi: "THAT is a man." He stared at Radna's physique before looking down at his own arms.
Tiffany: She tucked herself and Multhi behind Alces, clearly intimidated by the large demonic figure suddenly appearing. She chose not to question what just happened, "What is Valkun's plan? Do any of you know?"
Radna: "He plans to awaken the titans."
Alces: His fur shifted a bit, "Titans? What is a titan?"
Radna: He rolled his shoulders, the air around him warping faintly. "Listen, furry- a Titan ain't the concept itself. It's the vessel. The thing that houses it." He gestured vaguely, as if grabbing something invisible and crushing it. "Take every law tied to one idea, death, time, ruin, dominion. Strip it down to its rawest state, then force it into a single body. Muscle, will, instinct. That's a Titan."
Uriel: He folded his wings slightly, voice solemn, touched with old tongue. "They are constructs of concordance, born when the cosmos sought order without mercy. Where a god may wield a concept, a Titan is bound to it, flesh and fate entwined."
Radna: "Exactly. They don't use power. They are power, stitched together until they can walk, bleed, and tear a world apart."
Alces: His fur bristled. "So they can be killed?"
Radna: A slow, grim smile crossed his face. "Oh, sure. Same way you 'kill' gravity. You break the vessel… and pray whatever spills out doesn't finish the job."
Multhi: "So what do we do then?"
Radna: He smiled. "Come with us, dear prince. I have someone who would love to meet you."
