Chapter 26 - Chapter 35- The Queen Who Chooses to Fight

The sky above Aurelia City burned crimson.

Sirens wailed through narrow streets as black banners bearing a skeletal crown unfurled from towering spires. Soldiers in dark armor marched in perfect formation, their insignia glowing with sickly purple light.

The K.O.D. had returned.

The Kingdom of Death—an organization that conquered worlds not through chaos, but through order so absolute it crushed hope itself.

High above the city, a lone figure landed on a shattered rooftop, boots skidding against broken concrete.

She straightened, blue eyes sharp with resolve.

"You really don't know when to quit," she muttered.

Her name was Haruka Misaki.

Nineteen years old.

Restaurant owner.

Daughter.

And—when the world demanded it—a Kamen Rider.

Earlier that morning, the scent of grilled meat and simmering broth filled a small family restaurant tucked between old buildings. The wooden sign above the door read:

MISAKI FAMILY KITCHEN

Haruka adjusted her apron as she carried dishes to a table, smiling as customers thanked her. Her parents watched from behind the counter, pride clear in their eyes.

"You're overworking yourself again," her mother said gently.

Haruka laughed. "If I don't, who will?"

Her father crossed his arms, gaze steady. "The city's been restless lately."

They all knew what that meant.

The bell above the door jingled as a trembling man rushed in, panic written across his face.

"They're back—the ones with the black armor!"

The restaurant went silent.

Haruka slowly removed her apron.

Her parents exchanged a look. They had tried once—only once—to ask her to stop. She had come back bruised, exhausted, but alive. And they understood then.

This was who she was.

"Be careful," her mother said quietly.

Haruka nodded. "I always am."

She stepped outside as explosions echoed in the distance.

Now, on the rooftop, Haruka clenched the Rider Medallion in her hand. It was circular, forged of silver and gold, engraved with a crown-shaped emblem surrounding a glowing blue gem.

She raised it toward her belt.

"For everyone who still believes in tomorrow," she said softly.

The medallion clicked into place.

"RIDER MEDALLION—ACTIVATE."

Light erupted around her, spiraling upward like a royal crest being forged by destiny itself.

"KAMEN RIDER QUEENS!"

Armor formed in layers—white and gold plating locking into place, blue crystal lines pulsing with energy. A crown-shaped crest formed atop her helmet as a flowing mantle of light settled behind her.

She stood tall.

Regal.

Unbreakable.

Chosen not by fate—but by will.

Kamen Rider Queens leapt from the rooftop, landing directly in the path of advancing K.O.D. soldiers.

Their commander stepped forward, voice hollow and distorted.

"Surrender. The Kingdom of Death offers peace through obedience."

Queens raised her fist, blue energy crackling.

"I don't bow to kingdoms built on fear."

She charged.

Her movements were precise—each strike calculated, each kick carrying crushing force. Blue-gold energy bursts shattered enemy formations as she spun through the battlefield like a living emblem of defiance.

A massive K.O.D. enforcer slammed its weapon into the ground, sending shockwaves toward her.

Queens skidded back, boots digging in.

"My turn."

She raised her arm as the medallion glowed brighter.

"ROYAL BREAKER."

A radiant crest formed behind her as she launched forward, fist enveloped in blazing light. The impact shattered the enforcer's armor, sending it crashing into the street below.

The remaining soldiers retreated, vanishing into dark portals.

Silence returned to Aurelia City.

Queens stood still for a moment, chest rising and falling.

Then she deactivated her armor, light dissolving back into the medallion.

Haruka looked up at the sky.

Somewhere—far beyond this universe—other battles were being fought. Other Riders were rising. She could feel it, like a distant call.

"Guess I'm not the only one anymore," she whispered.

She turned and headed back toward her family's restaurant, already thinking about reopening for dinner.

A queen's duty never ended.

But neither did her humanity.

And in another universe, unseen threads began to draw closer—threads that would soon bind Kamen Rider Queens to a far greater war.
