Chapter 27 - Chapter 36- Echoes of the Dead Universe

Haruka Misaki felt it before she saw her.

A familiar pressure in the air—heavy, sharp, like a blade drawn but not yet swung.

She stood outside her family's restaurant, evening lights flickering on as Aurelia City slowly returned to normal. The day's battle felt distant now, but her instincts never truly rested.

Then a figure stepped out from the shadow of a nearby alley.

Tall and composed, clad in blue, black, and gold armor that carried the weight of legends long past. A staff rested lightly in her hand, its head shaped like an ancient crest. Her posture was calm, but her presence commanded attention.

Haruka's breath caught.

"…Joun?"

The woman looked up, emerald visor gleaming faintly. Though her face was hidden, there was no mistaking who she was.

"It's been a long time, Misaki," Joun said. Her voice was steady, clear, and familiar. "You're still fighting."

Haruka smiled—small, tired, but genuine.

"So are you. I thought you disappeared after everything ended."

Joun stepped closer. "I did. Same as her."

Haruka's smile faded.

"If you're here," she said carefully, "then something's wrong."

Joun nodded once.

"Some old friends are waiting for you," she said.

"In the Dead Universe."

Haruka clenched her fists.

She already knew the name Joun didn't say.

"…Shadow Moon."

Memories surfaced uninvited.

Three warriors standing against the rising empire of K.O.D.

A queen who fought for her world.

A silent moon who walked between light and darkness.

And a warrior of legend who carried the weight of history.

They had fought together—bled together—against the Kingdom of Death when its former leader still ruled. But when that leader fell, the war fractured them.

Joun vanished.

Shadow Moon disappeared into another universe.

And Haruka stayed behind—to protect what she still had.

"K.O.D. is back," Haruka said quietly. "With a new leader."

Joun tightened her grip on the staff.

"Then the balance really is breaking."

Haruka looked at her. "You'll help me?"

Joun gave a faint nod. "That's why I came."

Haruka didn't hesitate.

She raised her Rider Medallion.

Light flared as Kamen Rider Queens stood once more, regal armor gleaming beneath the city lights. She extended her arm, the medallion pulsing with deep blue energy.

"DIMENSION GATE—OPEN."

Reality split.

A portal of fractured light tore open in front of them, revealing a twisted sky—ashen clouds drifting over broken land where stars looked dimmer, colder.

The Dead Universe.

Queens stepped through first.

The air on the other side was heavy with silence.

Ruined structures stretched endlessly, half-consumed by shadow. The ground was cracked, scorched by battles long forgotten. No wind. No sound.

Then—slow footsteps.

From between two collapsed towers, a lone figure emerged.

Black armor. Pale silver highlights. Emerald compound eyes glowing faintly in the darkness.

Shadow Moon.

He stopped a few meters away from them.

"So," Shadow Moon said, voice low and calm, "you came after all."

Queens lowered her arm, but not her guard.

"We heard you were waiting."

Shadow Moon's gaze shifted briefly to Joun, then back to her.

"Ryoma Sengoku has already made his move."

Haruka stiffened.

"So it's true…"

Shadow Moon turned away slightly, looking toward the dead horizon.

"Kamen Rider Fifteen isn't acting on his own. He never was."

"And whatever voice he hears… it isn't Ohma Zi-O."

Haruka took a step forward. "Then where is Decade?"

Shadow Moon paused.

"On a mission beyond this war," he answered.

"He's heading to the Land of Light—to meet Ultraman King."

The name alone carried immense weight.

Joun exhaled slowly. "Then the pieces are moving faster than we thought."

Shadow Moon faced them again, emerald eyes glowing brighter.

"This war isn't just about K.O.D anymore," he said.

"It's about timelines collapsing into one another."

Queens clenched her fist.

"Then we stop it. Together."

For the first time, Shadow Moon allowed himself a faint smile.

"That's why I stayed."

Far away—across universes and eras—new alliances were forming, old enemies stirring, and destinies converging.

And in the Dead Universe, three warriors stood reunited.

Not as they once were.

But as they needed to be now.
