A shadow leaned lazily against the wall, barely visible through the dimness.
Smoke coiled in the air.
And from the darkness, a faint red glow flickered—like the tip of a burning cigar.
He switched on the light, his heart hammering. The glow revealed a tall figure standing motionless by the wall. When the man turned, his red eyes gleamed in the dim room.
Vampires! They were real. They truly existed.
"H—How did you get in?" the man stammered, his voice trembling.
"Pick a guess," Vladimir murmured darkly pushing himself away from the wall lazily.
"I heard you've been talking—spreading little stories about vampires." He gave a slow shake of his head. "Tsk. What a brave one."
"I'll expose you all!" the man shouted, anger laced with fear. "The whole world will know what you all are! We humans will take you monsters down!"
