"Ah—!" Hazel screamed as a bullet shattered the side mirror.
Vladimir tightened his grip on the wheel.
"Shoot back, Leon." he hissed.
Leon rolled down the back window and fired, returning shots toward the pursuing cars.
Hazel turned back and saw that the pursuers cars were getting closer.
She clutched her skirt, her heart hammering wildly.
"V-Vladimir... they're getting closer," she cried.
Vladimir reached for his gun but cursed under his breath.
"I can't aim while driving."
He shoved the gun into Hazel's trembling hands.
"Hold it. Aim when you see the tire." Vladimir said shoving the gun into her hand.
"I—I can't," Hazel sobbed, her hands shaking as if the gun might burn her skin.
She hadn't even touch a gun before talk more of shooting.
"You can do it, Hazel," Vladimir said firmly. "Do it or they'll shoot you."
A car suddenly surged closer. A man rose halfway through its sunroof, gun raised.
Vladimir guided her hands quickly.
