----------------------------------------------------------

In Greek mythology, famous heroes rarely limited themselves to one woman.

Heracles, Jason, Theseus.

None of them were exceptions.

There were a few heroes who remained faithful to a single wife, but most displayed what could only be called traditional heroic temperament.

Because of that, Medusa and Medea were already used to it.

At that moment, Mai Shiranui suddenly spoke up.

"Weren't we just talking about the banquet? How did we jump to this topic so fast?"

Emiya gave her a calm reminder.

"Random topic changes are normal in the chat group. You'll get used to it."

Mai rolled her eyes.

"I might not. Also, it's almost time. We should get ready."

She was right.

Emiya sent a message to the group.

"Alright. Eat first, then we head out."

Before long, everyone gathered for breakfast.

King and Kasumi Todoh were there as well.

The two had returned late last night.

After eating, the group left the Shiranui Dojo and headed straight for the venue.

Less than half an hour later, they arrived.

Spectators were already pouring in.

The stands were nearly full.

Anyone who had watched yesterday's matches had no intention of missing today's.

Emiya and the others entered the backstage hall.

The other teams were already present.

Strictly speaking, there was only one.

The Fatal Fury Team.

The Heroic Spirit Team, Loki Team, Nen Team, Ryozanpaku Team, and New Women Fighters Team had all arrived together with Emiya.

After preparations, the first match began.

Loki Team versus Ryozanpaku Team.

An internal match.

For Emiya's side, it held no suspense.

The reason was simple.

The Loki Team and Ryozanpaku Team had sparred before.

More than once.

They had spent days together.

This match was just a formality.

Everyone on their side already knew the outcome.

Only the audience and the Fatal Fury Team were unaware.

Ryozanpaku sent out Apachai first.

The Loki Team once again chose Ais.

Apachai had been beaten badly by Vice the day before.

But a few healing spells from Emiya had patched him up.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to step into the ring today.

Apachai moved immediately.

He launched a storm of attacks.

He had fought Ais several times.

He knew the key.

If he let her fully use her speed, he would lose.

So he pressed forward without hesitation.

Fists fired like a machine gun.

Each punch carried the force to shatter stone.

For a moment, the entire stage was drowned in Apachai's relentless assault.

But Ais remained calm.

Her footwork was light.

She evaded again and again.

Apachai stayed close.

He refused to give her space.

Seeing this, Emiya nodded.

"Apachai's doing well. He actually thought of this approach."

Hayato Fūrinji smiled.

"After losing to Miss Ais a few times, he finally learned to think."

He paused.

"But it's still not enough. This won't trouble her."

Almost on cue, Ais swung her wooden sword.

She deflected Apachai's fists several times.

His momentum broke.

Then she retreated smoothly, borrowing the force of his punches to create distance.

Emiya asked, "If it were you?"

Hayato replied, "I have several ways to limit Miss Ais's speed."

With Nen, his progress had been enormous.

Restricting Ais wasn't difficult for him.

"But if you were Apachai?" Emiya asked.

Hayato thought briefly.

"One strike to win."

Emiya considered it.

That made sense.

"Kenichi, you're up."

Hayato withdrew his gaze and turned.

Ma Kenichi nodded.

On the stage, Ais had already seized control.

Apachai's defeat was only a matter of time.

Moments later, Ais sent Apachai flying.

He landed below the ring.

Despite his massive frame, Apachai was no match for a level-six Ais.

Even before learning Nen, she had already been a level-six adventurer.

After learning Nen, her growth accelerated even further.

Their foundations were completely different.

A martial arts master.

A high-level adventurer with supernatural abilities.

There was no comparison.

Even Ma Kenichi wasn't her equal.

In pure martial arts, both Apachai and Kenichi could teach her.

But in overall power, they fell short.

When Ma Kenichi stepped onto the stage, he didn't rush.

He followed Hayato's advice.

One strike to decide everything.

He defended patiently.

Then, when the opening appeared, he poured everything into a single punch.

Half-Step Rushing Fist.

The timing was perfect.

Ais had no room to dodge.

Forced into a corner, she manipulated the invisible wind around her.

A massive vortex formed and surged forward.

Bang.

The collision detonated.

Violent air currents screamed outward, rushing toward the stands.

Before reaching the audience, another force suppressed them completely.

Kenichi was blown off the stage.

Ais was also thrown back.

Both landed outside the ring.

But after a few breaths, Ais stood up as if nothing had happened.

Kenichi needed Apachai's help to rise.

"My turn," Hayato Fūrinji said calmly as he stepped forward.

He hadn't fought yesterday.

Iori Yagami had forfeited.

Today, he finally appeared.

The Loki Team didn't send Riveria.

They sent Finn.

As an Elf, Riveria was undoubtedly the strongest in the Loki Familia.

She hadn't always been.

But after learning Nen, Finn was no longer her match.

The reason was simple.

Nen was life energy.

And humans weren't the best suited to cultivate it.

Demigods.

Immortal beings.

Undead.

Long-lived races like Elves.

Their life force far surpassed that of humans.

Their Nen growth was explosive.

Riveria's strength had skyrocketed.

Even though Finn was a Pallum, he couldn't keep up.

One day of Riveria's training matched half a month of his effort.

The gap only widened.

Still, Riveria was a mage.

On a stage like this, close-quarters combat limited her too much.

That was why Finn stepped up.

He had sparred with Hayato privately before.

He had been slightly inferior in technique.

But he had won.

He expected the same result.

What he didn't expect-

Was Hayato going all out immediately.

A violent aura wrapped around Hayato's hands.

There was no restraint.

Finn saw it.

An invisible giant hand.

Clenching into a fist.

The air was pushed aside layer by layer.

Then it smashed forward.

The atmosphere ruptured.

A vacuum tunnel formed.

Fierce currents surged outward.

Between heaven and earth-

Only that fist remained.

One strike to win.

Finn hadn't expected it.

Hayato had broken the rhythm.

The moment he stepped onto the stage, he unleashed everything.

No buildup.

No hesitation.

Too late to dodge.

Finn crossed his arms and braced.

The blow landed.

With a dull impact, Finn was sent flying.

He crossed dozens of meters.

Then slammed into an aisle in the stands.

After a short while, he stood up, smiling bitterly.

"I was careless."

He had blocked it.

Barely.

His internal injuries were minor.

One bottle of panacea would fix it.

He could have continued.

But this was a tournament.

Not a death match.

Once he was knocked out, the loss was decided.

"The rest is yours, Riveria."

After confirming Finn was fine, Riveria stepped onto the stage.

"Can you still fight, Fūrinji?"

Hayato took a deep breath.

"No problem."
