Author's POV
On the island, everything seemed almost calm, while across the world, rumors were spreading. Pictures of Athènia, Kemran, and Naynah had been shared on social media, along with the theory that they were in a three-way relationship that had never actually existed. There was also a rumor about Athènia and Tevi supposedly sleeping together. Needless to say, this damaged the reputation of the three respected families known worldwide. Oh, and the biggest rumor of all was that Naynah might be pregnant — something that didn't sit well with her mother. Speaking of her, in Silver Moon, inside the pack house, we see Naylinah in her office, destroying everything in sight.
Naylinah: How is it possible that this girl can't even follow my orders!!
X-zan: Alpha…
Naylinah: Why does she have to be so stupid!!
Wyatt clears his throat.
Wyatt: Alpha, may I speak?
Naylinah: What!?
Wyatt: It could just be rumors.
Naylinah: Rumors!? Who would spread such lies!!
Wyatt: We have many enemies, Alpha — first the witches and vampires. And in the human world, there are many rivals who would love to ruin our reputation.
Naylinah: I don't believe this is fake. It's certainly the truth. I know my daughter well — and the mate bond. If Naynah chose to get close to him, it's because he's her damned mate!!
X-zan: Alpha…
Naylinah: Give me my phone.
Wyatt: But Alpha…
Naylinah: I said, give me my phone!!
Wyatt hands her the phone, trembling — yes, she had just used her Alpha tone. She searches her contacts, finds Naynah's number, and calls immediately.
Naynah: Hello?
Naylinah: Come home immediately. Do I make myself clear, young lady!!
She hangs up and slams the phone onto the desk.
Naylinah: Get out of my office!!
Wyatt, X-zan: Yes, Alpha.
They leave, and Naylinah sits down, frustrated.
Naylinah: How am I supposed to fix this mess? Why does my daughter have to be so stupid!?
{Elexis}: Well, when it comes to stupidity, she takes after you.
Naylinah: Oh shut up, Elexis, I'm trying to think.
She leans back in her chair, holding her head, trying to come up with an idea. While she thinks, let's move to Neverkills, inside the grand fortress. We see Kamran in his office, gripping a newspaper tightly, while Karla stands beside him.
Kamran clenches the paper.
Karla: Kamran…
Kamran: Why does that boy always have to mess everything up!?
Karla: Kamran, he's just a child and—
Kamran: A child who can jump into bed with two girls — and especially enemies!!
Karla: Kamran, please.
Kamran: Please what? I've had enough of this child! Disobeying me is one thing, but doing something like this is far worse!!
Karla: Calm down first.
Kamran: Calm down!? Calm down you say!? My reputation is being ruined because of your disobedient, cold son!! I'm sure he doesn't even care about the rumors.
Karla: We should at least hear his side of the story.
Kamran grabs his phone and calls Kemran, who answers.
Kemran: Father.
Kamran: COME BACK IMMEDIATELY — AND DON'T MAKE ANY MORE MISTAKES ON THE WAY.
Kemran: Yes, father.
Kamran hangs up and throws the phone against the wall.
Karla: Kamran…
Kamran: That boy doesn't care about our problems!! He caused this mess and yet he's calm!!
Karla: What should we do now?
Kamran: Go see Kritéa. I'll handle the rest.
Karla nods and leaves.
Kamran: Why did you have to do this, Kemran? Now it's up to me to clean up your mess. But if these rumors turn out to be true — if you really slept with the daughters of the one who killed my father — I will not spare you this time.
His eyes gleamed with a malice that could not be ignored. While Kamran searched for a way to fix the situation, in Harmonie, Nevine seemed on the verge of exploding with rage.
Nevine: THAT GIRL REALLY LOVES DRAGGING MY REPUTATION THROUGH THE MUD!!
Fabelia: I've always told you that girl is a magnet for trouble!!
Nevine: CALL HER NOW!!
Junior: It's useless, father.
Nevine: WHAT DO YOU MEAN USELESS!?
Junior: Lis has been missing for over six months. We still haven't found her.
Nevine: AND YOU'RE TELLING ME THIS ONLY NOW!?
Junior: With all due respect, you said yourself — let them handle it, I don't care about her, she can rot in hell if she wants.
Nevine: YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME ANYWAY!!
Junior: So what was I supposed to say? "Hey father, your eldest daughter is missing. I know you don't care, but I thought I'd tell you anyway."
Nevine: JOHN, COME HERE!!
John enters, bowing his head.
John: Yes, my king.
Nevine: TELL CAMERON AND NOLAN TO GO TO LONDON AND FIND MY DAUGHTER NOW!!
John: Yes, my king.
John rushes off to inform Cameron and Nolan.
Nevine: And you, Junior — get ready. We have a council meeting.
Junior: Do I have to go?
Nevine: You're going to be king. It's your duty to handle situations like this.
This answer made Fabelia grimace, for she had always wanted her son to be king. Oh no, not that bastard Junior. Junior leaves, leaving Fabelia and Nevine alone.
Fabelia: Nevine, why not make Alvin king instead?
Nevine: Junior is my eldest son, Fabelia.
Fabelia: But you know he'll be killed if the council discovers his true origins.
Nevine: No one will ever find out.
Fabelia: Fine.
Fabelia leaves Nevine's office, smiling slyly — a smile that meant nothing good. She was already planning to find someone capable of eliminating Junior, and yes, she already had someone in mind.
Meanwhile in HASRLAND, Im stood looking out the window, a journal in his hand, smiling.
Im: Soon it will be time to make all supernaturals disappear.
He smirked darkly as his servants watched. But this was only the beginning of his vengeance — the vengeance of Jinking STORM.
