Yosuke arrived at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters, only to discover that no one remained there. Most of the buildings had already been dismantled, leaving only a few structures standing.
As Yosuke quietly mourned the past, a sound came from behind him.
"Yosuke-sama!"
Hakuji, Koyuki, Gyutaro, and Ume looked at the returned Yosuke with excitement in their eyes.
Seeing his former companions, Yosuke showed a gentle smile.
"It's been almost half a year since we last met. Have you all been well?"
"Everything is fine, Yosuke-sama. We've opened a dojo, and more than a few dozen students have already joined us," Akaza reported.
"Is that so… that's wonderful. Your wish has come true. And what about the others?"
"Kanae and Shinobu opened a medical clinic in Kyoto. Kanao, Nezuko, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are helping out there as well. As for the other Demon Slayers, since none of us can die anymore, in order not to cause trouble in society, they are currently living in seclusion in the mountains."
After Hakuji finished, Ume eagerly added:
"Kanae and Shinobu must really want to see you, Yosuke-sama! I can go get them!"
But Yosuke stopped her.
"This time, I have to return to that other world immediately. The waters of that world run deep—its overall combat power is far beyond ours. The Priest Master has already possessed someone in that world, so I returned to ours this time to seek reinforcements."
"If you're looking for help, shouldn't you bring Kanae and Shinobu as well? They've been waiting for you, and the Demon Slayer Corps has been on standby," Ume argued.
"I want to bring everyone… but unfortunately, the void channel I constructed can only allow three people through. I can only bring two others with me."
"So this time… you want Gyutaro and me to go with you, right?" Hakuji guessed.
Yosuke nodded.
"Yes. And it'll take at least seven years to reconstruct the void channel again. So, Hakuji, Gyutaro… what do you think? It's perfectly fine if you want to stay."
Hakuji and Koyuki had finally established a dojo to pass down the Soryu fighting art, and they were living a peaceful life with Gyutaro and Ume. Going to the ninja world meant returning to endless conflict. Yosuke had to respect their wishes.
But Gyutaro and Hakuji didn't hesitate for even a moment.
"Of course we want to go with you, Lord Yosuke. We understand your concerns. The dojo can be left to Koyuki and Ume. And seven years… for us, that's just the blink of an eye."
Koyuki and Ume added,
"That's right. Yōsuke-sama has been fighting alone all this time, and now he needs our help. How could we refuse?"
A wave of emotion washed over Yosuke's heart. Even separated by two worlds, their bonds had not changed in the slightest.
"Good! In that case, we should set out immediately!"
Hakuji and Gyutaro nodded firmly.
Always eager to challenge the strong, Hakuji even looked slightly excited.
"Powerful beings of another world—here we come!"
Yosuke once again constructed the void channel, and together with Hakuji and Gyutaro, vanished into it.
Returning to the Land of Grass, Yosuke casually found a small inn and rested.
He then asked,
"Hakuji, Gyutaro… you've overcome the sunlight, right?"
They both nodded.
"Yes. Since we knew we might need to keep fighting alongside you, we asked Kanae and Shinobu to develop a medicine that allows us to withstand sunlight without having to turn human. We are now demons who have conquered the sun."
"Excellent. Now, I'll explain this world to you."
"This is a world centered around shinobi. Chakra is the foundation of power, and abilities known as 'jutsu' come in countless bizarre variations."
"And the people here—especially the strong ones—are far superior in physical ability compared to those in our world," Yosuke continued.
Hakuji and Gyutaro were unfazed.
"Our only weakness now is Nichirin blades. This world can't possibly have something like that, right?"
"It's true there are no Nichirin blades here. But if that were the only threat, I wouldn't have returned home to seek help. This world has something that can deal with us—the most direct and brutal method: sealing jutsu."
"Sealing… jutsu?"
To Hakuji and Gyutaro, it was an unfamiliar term.
"There are sealing techniques that can restrain a target's body or soul. Our bodies can regenerate—but our souls cannot."
Thinking of Kushina's Adamantine Sealing Chains and Minato's Eight Trigrams Seal, Yosuke's expression hardened.
"Those kinds of sealing jutsu… even I would be caught."
Seeing Yosuke's grave expression, Hakuji and Gyutaro no longer underestimated the shinobi of this world.
"I said before—this world has many strong individuals. And your power, here, only counts as Kage-level. And there are many Kage-level shinobi in the ninja world, not to mention several who are stronger than even me."
Hakuji and Gyutaro were stunned.
In their world, Yosuke was an unbeatable existence. Even Muzan and the Priest Master could only fight him to a draw—none could defeat the other.
But in this world… there were beings capable of defeating Yosuke.
Hakuji and Gyutaro couldn't even imagine how powerful such people must be.
"Yōsuke-sama… then what should we do?"
After thinking for a moment, Yosuke replied:
"With just the three of us, searching for the Priest Master in this vast world would be far too difficult—and dangerous. So I plan to establish an organization here, gather talented and gifted individuals, and once our forces grow, we'll have a much greater chance of locating the Priest Master."
Hakuji and Gyutaro agreed that this was an excellent idea. They were outsiders here—unfamiliar with the land and its people—so having an organization would indeed make things easier.
"Yosuke-sama, have you decided on the name of the organization?" Gyutaro asked.
Yosuke shook his head.
"It came to me only just now, so I haven't thought of a name."
"I have an idea," Hakuji said. "Let's call it Crow. Although crows are sometimes seen as birds of mourning, in some places they're regarded as birds of good fortune. I think it fits us well."
Yosuke liked the suggestion.
Demons regarded as ominous beings, yet fighting to save their own world—the dual symbolism matched them perfectly.
"Then the organization shall be called Crow."
