Aa I returned to the dark city once more, rather then go straight to the bright castle I decided to do some "farming" in the dark city now that my friend was gone "why did I even kill it so soon?" As I pondered this I walked behind igris that killed anyone that came too close and harvested the shards "I guess it was just a cheap way too get stronger" I mused.
As a month passed in the dark city I decided to return to the bright caste as I've earned including the soul devouring tree's fragments abit over 200 fragments whitch wasn't a lot considering I needed 4000 to become a Tyrant.
Returning to the bright caste after 4 full months wasn't hard although Gemma was annoyed that he still basically lead the pathfinders since I haven't been around all that much but that was about to change, they needed training after all and memories whitch I've gained a lot off over these 2 years of being here.
And so I trained them, to fight, to track, to hide and after that I went too hunt with hunters from time to time. About after a week of this finally Gunlaug approached me and gave me the [Sunlight shard] so now I had 3 of the 7 shards I knew Effie already had one the bronze spear that she had, they were probably collecting the last one right about now and then they would take a few months to come back. And so another month passed, as my new constant presence and exploits spread through the entire dark city I could almost feel proud almost but for what he intended to do his allies needed to be stronger do he started regulary staring eith Gunlaug Gemma and now Tesai who had joined our midst Aiko was also eith us but she wasn't a combat oriented sleeper harus though he needed to die as Gunlaug regretfully agreed appearently he was hesitant to kill him because he was feared by everyone and had been a great friend but while he remained loyal to Gunlaug he was too gone sometimes he looked more like a corupted being than a human and such a person had to be deat with and so I challenged him in a "friendly" fight in the gathering hall in front several hundred sleepers, the sleeper who would report on my abilities to Changing Star and her cohort the sleepers who watched as I dominated harus then killed him with barely any effort, his aspect didint help him since I could fully hear him.
As another month passed I decided to go out to the dark city one last time until the cohort returned and all hell would break loose.
The regime was simple 15 creatures a day for 92 days straight that got me barely to 3000 when I returned, I decided fo finally break my soul shard slash all the creature's I've killed all my allowences and I even asked Gunlaug for a few dozen more soul shards I absorbed every single one until, one was left and my fragment counter read

As I took a deep breath Summoning igris to protect me while I was out just incase I absorbed it and collapsed biting on my pillow to stifle the noise I screamed till I felt I couldn't anymore my throat hurt, my lungs hurt it felt like I died "god its so much worse when you are Awake" I groaned, laying against my bed frame.
He was now a Tyrant, and it time to inact his plan he just needed to wait for Changing Star to return.
And so the "heroes" returned eith the rest of the shards the so called "heroes" whose plan was to take on the crimson spire in a battlefield tactic of all times hundreds could no, hundreds would die just because one woman willed it he couldn't allow it.
So when they returned I took Gunlaug and the rest of the lieutenants to their "planning room".
As we entered the somewhat house that was noticeably nicer than all the other ones we saw Nephis and her cohort standing there a small army of sleepers inside and outside the building as we walked over and stood I started "hello again Nephis, Sunny and Cassie" Sunny nodded back relaxed noticeably distant from the cohort "why are you all here?" She asked glaring st all of us Gunlaug approached clearing his throat "It's simple" He poused building up some tension "you see we have what you need and you have what we need, and also Seishan you can stop pretending and go to their side" as dozens of eyes widened and murmors broke out I continued speaking "you see we know about the shards" the cohort's eyes widened a couple of them even stepping back "hell I even knew of them before any of you didint pousrd taking in a breath "after all I collected the first one" several eyes widened as I summoned the [Midnight Shard] I continued"and the second one" summing the [Starlight shard] its soft fabric wrapping around me I continued "and just not long ago basically forced out the third one" I spoke as I summoned the[Sunlight shard] and dropped it on the ground Seishan's eyes widening as she realized he was the one who told Gunlaug about it.
As I approached Nephis I simply said "give the rest of the shards to me" Nephis only glared harder "why so you could stop everyone from leaving" She said loudly rallying the outer settlement sleepers I simply chucked emptily "to leave of course why else" as the sleepers calmed down the cohort only narrowed their eyes even more except for sunny who had been slowly making his way away from the cohort I continued speaking "I'm the strongest sleeper in the forgotten shore" I said like it was a fact because it was "anyone from the bright caste will tell you the same including Gunlaug himself" as eyes shifted to te bright lord he simy nodded to confirm my words as my eyes turned to nephis I continued "I have a spire messenger echo on top of my own abilities" as I poused to collect my thoughts "I have another echo.. a tyrant" eyes wideding as shocked gasps and murmors broke out even the other leitenantas eyes widened looking at me as I summoned igris I turned to Sunny "you must recognize your roomate, even if he is a little different now" Sunny only sighed "so you were the one who killed it huh" he didint mention that it was a fallen devil for whatever reason whitch only made my caste stronger as I turned back my eyes to the rest of the cohort I looked at Effie "spear and shield if you don't mind" as Effie looked st Nephi's command she said "face me in combat and if you win you xsn have them but if not the castle surrenders under me" as I looked like she was stupid "any runes?"
She only glanced at me "no echos" as whispers broke out I grinned at her it was an empty dead ugly thing but a grin nonetheless as we shook hands to confirm the rule I said something that shook people to their cores"but you see igris here" motioning to it with a hand "isn't an echo" as nephis stopped in her tracks turning to my actually surprise colouring her face "what?" I only grinned harder "you heard me Star Of Ruin" as her eyes widened even more I continued "but don't worry I won't use him.
As we stepped into the "ring" nephis summoned her battle armor and longsword I only summoned my amnbu armor and Sage cloak not even bringing out a weapon. As we started circling eachother she lunged first testing my guard and reaction speed as I weaved between her strikes I couldn't help but look at her skill with a blade 'if we had equal stats she would decently preveil'i thought continued to dodge suddenly though a wave of white burning flames englusfed only to me already in the air levitatking easily dodging it appearing behind her he was surprised to see an elbow strike already coming his way quickly ducking and doing a leg sleep nephis was forced to jump and at that moment I sent my fist flying at her stomach at breakneck speeds she managed to block it eith her sword only to get sent flying into a building as she got up skin glowing a slight white obviously hearing she seemingly got faster as she was way faster and stronger than before combine with her skill she was deadly 'augmentstion' I realized aa I augmented myself with a singular windi started straight blitzing her and once again flames engulfed me this time at point blank range only to me to jump through them my wind shell breaking from the damaged it received managing to hit her lower right stomach area eith double the force than previously she wasn't flying into another building and then through it like a hot knife through better as people ran to check in on her I turned of my augmentstion only to see Caster that legacy price aiming his sword st nephis downed form and starting to rush in quickly augmenting myself eith several winds I appeared infeont of nephis form just in the nick of time to catch his blade snd stop him dead in his tracks as people watching gasped and were screaming in outrage at the now obvious traitor I I could only stare at his fesrful eyes as silently igris appeared behind Caster and me jdinf him in place he couldn't do anything but stare in fair as the massive claymore decended on him and cut him nearly in half veryically shocked noise and even puking noise reached my airs as the gruesome act transpired, soon nephis was checked on and confirmed to be fine just out cold I received the shard memories as promised stopping Sunny who obviously wasn't happy about losing his ghostly stilleto and stopping effie "you guys do know that I will give these back right?"
As they stared me "you will?" Both asked in almost perfect unison "I will, I promise".
