Ava didn't change her clothes after damian left her room.
She stayed exactly the way she was when Damian left her room. She was still wearing the oversized shirt wrinkled from sleep, her hair loose and tangled around her shoulders, her bare feet against the cold marble floor. She didn't bother fixing anything. Didn't bother looking presentable for her. She wasn't going to give him what he wanted.
If he wanted to parade her downstairs like a wife, she would make sure he understood just how little she cared.
When she finally opened her door, the hallway was silent, ava was glad about that because she didn't want to see anyone but when her eyes slowly lifted it landed on him.
Damian stood a few feet away, leaning slightly against the wall opposite her door, his arms crossed over his chest. He hadn't left, he hadn't moved. He had been waiting and watching to see what she was planning to do after he left her alone in her room.
