Chapter 220 - Chapter 220: Convergence Cooperation

"You found her?! So quickly!! How?"

"I have my way, Rudolph. There is nothing in this world that is truly private. Now get everyone prepared. We'll be moving out at eight o'clock sharp."

"Scary… You're scary, trainer."

"I know."

XxX-XxX

"This is her house."

"How do you know that?"

"The government holds a database of their people's addresses, Rudolph. It's quite easy to know your home once you crack the wall."

"Why are you a trainer?"

"Because I love you, McQueen. Also, there is a cellular network activity coming from inside, and her smart fridge is scanning her items for things she runs out of. She is still awake inside."

"WHY ARE YOU A TRAINER?!?!"

*DING* *DONG* *DING* *DONG*

"Yes, who is it?"

The speaker on the doorbell speaks out with a clearly confused tone. One can imagine how confused the tenant is when she is visited by a group of people at the dead of night. Japan's crime rate is very low, but there's nothing wrong with being safe.

"Uhhmm… Miss Mirai Tsuiho… We want to talk. There is something that you need to see."

"And what would that be?"

If she truly is someone from that world, then there is only one way to test that.

The young man clicked an app on his phone that temporarily shut down all the CCTV cameras around him. He then pulled off Rudolph's hat to expose her ears.

"Hey! Trainer Igo!!"

"Impressive cosplay."

The person on the other side still sounds casual. Being a high-ranking employee who handles the Umamusume game must give her the privilege of seeing some incredible cosplay if seeing the actual umamusume in question doesn't faze her.

"Sigh…"

The young man grabs the hair on the side of her head and shoves it away to show that there is nothing there. Regardless of how impressive a cosplayer is, they couldn't get this part correct. Simply because no one wants to lose their ears just for a cosplay.

"Believe us now, or do I need to hack the door open?"

"..."

*Click*

The door slowly opens, and a small Japanese woman peeks her head out. The first thing that stood out to the young man was her curious, shiny jade eyes. Her slightly wet, straight black bob cut hair shows a hint of where she was before the bell was rung.

"Are you… real?"

"Can we come inside first? The EMP bomb I made only temporarily disabled the camera for thirty minutes."

"WHY ARE YOU A TRAINER?!?! SERIOUSLY!!!"

"Of course, please come in."

After being allowed entry by the owner of the house, the group of exiles enters the house and finally lets their guard down for the first time in a while.

"Haah… We're finally free…"

"Are you… really an umamusume?"

"Let her touch the side of your face, Rudolph."

"Ah… Okay…"

The head is a part of the body that most people would be nervous to have touched. It is packed to the brim with sensory organs, such as eyes, ears, and the vestibular system, but most importantly, the brain.

Rudolph couldn't contain her nervousness as her ears shook as the woman's hands came closer to her face. The liveliness of the ears is already an indication that she is a real umamusume, but the woman needs to touch the side of her face to convince herself 100%.

"Ooh… You are real…"

"Yes… Yes, I am an umamusume."

"Oh, my Goddesses… Oh, my Goddesses… Are you here to capture me for breaking the space-and-time barrier!??!?"

"Wait, what?!"

"Sigh… Let's start finding a common ground first before anything. Did you come from a world where umamusume exists?"

"Yes… It's been a couple of years, though. How about you guys?"

"We teleported yesterday."

"And you already found me?!?"

"The game you help create is a massive signal to whoever comes from that world. That's how I pinpoint your position."

"Ah!! It finally worked!!! I almost forgot that was the main purpose of the game after so many years of nothing. It's now just a job for me. It's pretty accurate to the real thing, right?!?!"

"Sort of…"

The young man had downloaded the game while he was spying on the Cyberagent building just as a way to walk down memory lane. His account had not been touched ever since his death, so there are plenty that he missed.

"Trainer was the one who profiled you and figured out where you live by hacking the government's database. Isn't my trainer amazing!?!"

"Teio, please learn what information can be shared and what can not."

"Well, compared to the technology of our era, this era is a piece of cake. But still, your ability to research and figure out everything would make you a wonderful cop."

"..."

"You're a cop, aren't you?"

"No."

"Please!! Please!! I regretted my action!! I know I shouldn't attempt to time travel, but I just really want to be a part of the beginning of the Crimson Golden Age!!"

"Huh?"

"Look!! Please!! I don't know that my time machine possesses a dimensional vector, too!! If I do, then I would've properly tuned it!!"

"Trainer, what is she on about?"

"Sigh… Miss Mirai, calm down. We have no idea what you are saying."

"Eh? You are not a cop?"

"No. As you heard from these girls, I'm a trainer."

"Ah… Then that means you are just like me. You must be trying to experience the Crimson Golden Age, right?!?!"

"What is this Crimson Golden Age you have been going on this entire time? I have never heard of it."

"What?!?! You never heard of the Crimson Golden Age?!? But you are a trainee!!! Isn't that age like a part of the curriculum now?!?!"

"Not where I come from."

"Where did you come from?"

"Japan."

"You came from Earth and don't know it!!! What the hell is going on there?!?! Every colony basically knows this!!"

"Colony? I have some suspicion about what's going on here. What year did you come from?"

"Two thousand, six hundred, and fifteen."

"..."

"...When is that, trainer?"

"A long time in the future, Teio."

"Future? Wait! You guys came from the past!! What year!?! How can you invent dimensional hopping in the past?!?! Are those conspiracy theorists about a lost technology right!?!"

"Two thousand and twenty-five."

"Two thousand and twenty-five… Japan… Wait… Isn't that the start of… Excuse me… Your name isn't Igo Heita… Isn't it?"

"Yeah… That's me."

"WAIT!! So that means you girls are the real ones?!?!"

"Real one…? What do you mean? Is there a fake Tokai Teio in the future?"

"YOU ARE ALL THE REAL ONES!!!"

The woman ran up the stairs after screaming her lungs out, leaving the stranded visitors confused. They heard things being thrown all over the place, shelves collapsing, and glasses shattering. The house shook violently as if there were currently a 5.3-magnitude earthquake.

*THUNK* *THUMP* *THUD* *THUD* *THUMP* *BAAM* *KATHUNK* *BOOM* *THUNK* *THUNK* *THUD* *THUMP* *BOOOOOM*

They were about to sneak upstairs, but the woman suddenly burst through the first floor's ceiling.

"ARE THESE YOU!?!"
