Chapter 107 - Chapter 107: My Eyes Are Truly Dry

After returning from Mondstadt Square, Yu Jin embarked on a long journey of potion-making.

Thanks to his slight obsession, he had taken more or less some items from every world he visited.

Therefore, Yu Jin was not short on raw materials, especially plant-based ones—because Yu Jin would cultivate them within himself.

"Cough, cough, cough! A perfumer's job is truly not for humans!" Yu Jin grumbled as he looked at the dust-filled courtyard.

He used to wonder why perfumers always wore long robes and masks. Now he understood; it was because the working conditions were too harsh, and they had no choice.

However, his harvest was considerable. With Yu Jin's vigorous grinding, a massive amount of materials was transformed into Invigorating Aroma, and the pile of potions before him, enough to drown him, was proof!

"Hehehe!" Yu Jin could already imagine Stormterror's shocked little eyes. He got up, carefully stored away all the potion dust, and then began further preparations.

Relying solely on Invigorating Aroma still made Yu Jin a bit uneasy. Although Invigorating Aroma could grant immunity to over ninety percent of DMG.

But if someone was truly too weak, or if the Invigorating Aroma didn't cover them adequately, leading to their direct demise, then things would get out of hand.

So, to be safe, he probably had to cry a lot.

"Phew!" Yu Jin took out the flask of holy water. Through the opening, he could see the blue light echoing within.

Each use of the flask of holy water required a long recovery period. The last time he used it was during his battle with Kutri, and now, the flask of holy water was fully "charged"!

Yu Jin drank the secret blue dew within, and an endless surge of magic emerged from his body, as if it would never dry up.

So, Yu Jin picked up the prepared large porcelain basin and dipped his head into it.

Time to cry!

The holy bell in his hand shook rapidly, and correspondingly, pale orange tears continuously fell from Yu Jin's helmet.

A full fifteen seconds! Yu Jin cried for a full fifteen seconds! Setting a new record!

Although this wasn't real crying.

Yu Jin swirled the basin, and a faint orange glow shimmered at its bottom. Calling it tears wasn't quite accurate; it was more like a condensation of some kind of power.

Yu Jin felt the immense power within it, a power strong enough to forcibly keep a dying person in the world.

Then he began to dilute it with water. Just kidding, if he used it directly without dilution, not only would it be wasteful, but even if he cried himself dry, he wouldn't be able to produce that much parting tears.

"Alright, all done!" Yu Jin nodded with satisfaction. Next was to find Stormterror's resting place and gather everyone.

But these were not difficult tasks! As an element creature, Stormterror's approximate location could be known by sensing where the Anemo element was most concentrated.

As for the latter, Yu Jin believed that with his and Cyrus's prestige, they could quickly gather the members of the Adventurers' Guild.

And so, after completing all this, Yu Jin eagerly went out again, heading to find Cyrus… "What?! Are you sure you're not joking?" Inside the Adventurers' Guild building, Cyrus stood up from his seat behind the desk.

He looked at Yu Jin in shock, seemingly unable to believe what he had just heard.

"I said! Let's find a time to gather and give Stormterror a good beating!" Yu Jin leaned in closer, his voice louder.

Cyrus patted Yu Jin's shoulder and said earnestly, "Yu Jin, if you're dissatisfied with the Guild, you can just say so directly. There's no need to make everyone sacrifice themselves, right?"

"Guild Master, your glasses fell off."

"Oh." Cyrus adjusted his monocle, which had almost fallen off.

"Yu Jin, are you underestimating the strength of our Guild? Don't you think that besides you, for anyone else in our Guild to confront Stormterror would be a bit…"

"Overestimating themselves?" Cyrus spread his hands at the end of his sentence. When he said a new Adventure era was coming, he didn't mean for those greenhorns to directly confront Stormterror.

That kind of thing was better left to Acting Grand Master Jean.

Yu Jin waved his hand when he heard Cyrus's words, saying confidently, "Are you underestimating me?"

"Bang!" With that, Yu Jin placed two perfume bottles on the table, one with Invigorating Aroma and the other with diluted parting tears.

"What are these?" Cyrus picked up the perfume bottles and looked at them. Even with his experience, he couldn't identify what they were.

Yu Jin didn't explain much. He pulled out a frog, then uncorked the Invigorating Aroma bottle on the table and directly activated the potion.

Accompanied by flashing golden light, transparent yellowish protective shields appeared around Yu Jin, Cyrus, and the frog.

Cyrus watched everything before him in surprise. When the mysterious powder was sprinkled, he felt his state significantly improve by a level.

He reached out and poked the protective shield, but his finger passed right through it.

"Bang!" A dull thud sounded, startling Cyrus.

"What are you doing? You scared me to death!" Cyrus's glasses slid down again. He patted his chest, thinking he might die young.

"Look at this frog." Yu Jin moved his palm away and pointed to the frog, whose protective shield had already shattered.

"Hmm?" Cyrus adjusted his glasses again, staring intently at the frog on his desk.

The little green creature looked a bit disoriented, but considering it was currently in a large handprint, this minor injury seemed insignificant.

Cyrus suddenly looked up, staring at the protective shield, and said in disbelief, "Because of this potion?"

"Yes." Yu Jin nodded and continued, "Not only that, there's also this."

As he spoke, Yu Jin dripped the diluted parting tears onto the frog, then thrust a finger forward!

Yu Jin's finger directly pierced through the frog's entire body, almost shredding its entire torso.

Yet, even so, the frog still didn't die. Its limbs were still struggling, and its eyes were still darting around.

Feeling it was enough, a faint glow emanated from Yu Jin's hand. After healing the frog's injuries, he threw it inside himself.

Besides planting grass, he also liked raising small animals.

"How about it?" Yu Jin crossed his arms, looking confidently at Cyrus.

Cyrus covered his forehead. The scene just now was too extraordinary, making his brain feel like it was smoking.

"Phew—, as expected of an Adventurer from the Dark Sea, I truly underestimated you," Cyrus exclaimed.

Then he immediately stood up, shouting with passion and excitement, "Since that's the case, then I have no reason to obstruct you!"

"The true Adventure era of fighting giant dragons has arrived! Hahaha!"

Yu Jin looked at Cyrus, who was so excited he couldn't control himself, with his feet on the table, and pulled him down.

"Mind your image!" Yu Jin, feeling many curious glances from outside the office, warned him.

How could this branch Guild Master be even less reliable than himself?

"Cough, cough, cough! I got a bit carried away, pay no mind." Cyrus wiped the footprints off the table, saying a bit awkwardly.

"When do we depart? I want to join the fun too!" Cyrus asked impatiently after wiping the footprints.

"Didn't you say you've defeated two giant dragons? Why do you want to join the fun now?" Yu Jin asked with a hint of mischief.

Cyrus's old face flushed. He rubbed his hands and said, "I did indeed deal with two giant dragons, but they weren't as magnificent as Stormterror."

"Just fulfilling a childhood fantasy." As he spoke, Cyrus reminisced about his younger days.

"I didn't expect you to have that thought." Yu Jin shook his head, but it made sense; Cyrus's passion and excitement were indeed just like a young person's.

He lowered his head, thought for a moment, and said, "In a few days, when you've gathered everyone, I should also have all the materials and such ready."

"Then we'll show Stormterror the might of our Adventurers' Guild!"

Yu Jin looked into the distance, saying confidently.
