Chapter 50 - Lewd Situations

She went to the floor where he kept the Reward Crucibles and tossed the disc into the crucible and watched them appear one by one.

"Ten Second Level Evolution Potions, two Third Level Evolution Potions, one Dual-Class Special Card, ten kilograms of Magma ore, five Level 2 Class Upgrade Cards, Three-Star 20% Discount Coupon, Five grams of Cynil Powder, twelve Health Potions, one Level 3 Class Upgrade Card, and two Spearman Class Cards."

"This…"

Anna was quietly surprised. The rewards were much more than before and could even be said to be double.

"Fine. I'll accept this as compensation for our injuries."

Although she knew the system couldn't respond to her, she still complained. This was just her being herself.

Packing these rewards into a box, she carried it to Leon's room and dropped it beside his bed.

Nurse Sofiya stood by the side as she uncorked a health potion.

"Give it to him."

Without another word, she handed it to the nurse and left the room. She needed to give potions to the others too.

Holding the small bottle with trembling hands, Nurse Sofiya pressed her lips into a thin line.

'I could inject it into his body, but I don't know if its efficiency would be reduced. Damn it! This is embarrassing.'

As much as she didn't want to, she had to administer it raw. Her face reddened in embarrassment at the thought of giving a mouth-to-mouth dosage to someone barely younger than her.

She slapped herself lightly, almost spilling the potion.

'Get yourself together, Sofiya! This is not the time to hesitate.'

Steeling her heart with a hardened expression, she poured the potion into her mouth, then gently pried Leon's lips open.

Hiding her embarrassment beneath a professional facade, she let her lips meet his and poured the potion into his mouth.

Hmng~

Although it felt unromantic, the tension she was feeling made her sensitive. There was something sweet and attractive on his lips that made her a bit confused.

'He tastes… sweet?'

Her tongue slithered into his mouth and pushed down his own, allowing the potion into his throat. With reluctance, her mouth left his, but not without leaving a single lick on his juicy lips.

'Damn. That description sounds wrong. Juicy lips?'

She straightened her back, then left with hurried steps.

Once the door closed, Leon's eyes snapped open. His lips curled downward, a frown.

"That was strange. I didn't expect it to be that… hot."

He was fully aware of the indirect kiss, but had pretended he was still unconscious to save the nurse from further embarrassment.

Shaking his head, he tried to touch his fast-beating heart only to wince.

"Ugh-! Let's not forget I'm still injured."

Although his regeneration was great, it'd take at least a full day to recover. Closing his eyes, he allowed himself to rest.

....

Meanwhile, Jayden and the remaining three evolved began scouting the surrounding for signs of the nearest shelter. Although the sound of their motorcycles attracted zombies, they easily dealt with them. In the end, they had to stop after seeing that the motorcycles would eventually attract a second level zombie.

Although they could kill it together, it was better to preserve their strength.

"Up ahead."

Alex suddenly broke the silence. The others looked towards where he was pointing. Indeed, the place looked like an old industry with tall, barricaded walls. Although they couldn't see inside, they spotted evolved on the walls, probably guarding the shelter.

Jayden waved his hand.

"We can't approach openly. We'll wait till nightfall."

The others agreed. Although humans could be less wary of each other than zombies, not everyone was nice. And judging from the girl's explanation, they weren't nice people.

They quickly settled into an abandoned apartment nearby, leisurely waiting for night to arrive.

"Hey Sylvia, where did you come from?"

Jayden suddenly asked, deciding to start a conversation. It felt boring waiting in silence.

The girl glanced at him, then shifted. "Well, I'm from this city. My parents are also at the shelter. Luckily, none of us turned when it started. I don't know about my brother, though. He's abroad."

"Lucky you…" Jayden commented with a sad smile. His family hadn't been so fortunate.

"That aside. What about you, Alex?"

The bespectacled guy shrugged. "I'm from New York. Came here for the holiday, then got stuck. A bitter feeling."

Jones chuckled subconsciously. "You should be happy. Perhaps if you were in New York, you'd have become a zombie."

"Not funny." Alex snorted, though he didn't look offended.

"Well, Jones and I are friends working in the same company. Unfortunately, that doesn't matter anymore. I can't even imagine where the CEO is right now." Jayden said, his tone neutral.

"Haha." Jones laughed subtly. "You're right. That woman's always flying all over the country."

With that, they descended into hours of light talks, games, drinking, and eventually sleep, before nighttime finally arrived.

"Alright get up guys."

Jones nudged them awake, his expression weird. Sylvia was sandwiched between Jayden and Alex, their bodies pressed against each other. The scene was utterly lewd for specific reasons. If he had to go into details, Sylvia's hand was resting on Jayden's crotch while Alex hugged her from behind. As for Jayden, his head was perfectly planted on her plump chest.

"Ah shit!"

Jones cursed, feeling a twitch down there. Even if he was an evolved, he was still a man. His tolerance towards alcohol was better so he hadn't ended in a sorry state like them.

Raising his leg, he mercilessly kicked the three.

"Get up, you idiots!"

Finally, they stirred awake. Realizing their compromising position, they quickly disengaged, still dizzy.

"Ugh. Get a moment to clear your heads."

After a quarter of an hour, they were fully normal, shelving their embarrassment behind composed looks.

"Alright, let's move. Now."

Jayden cleared his throat, then spoke. The four of them stealthy approached the barricaded industry while avoiding the beam lights of the watch guards.

"We're climbing in." Jayden whispered.

"Climbing? Tch!" Alex clicked his tongue, then adjusted his glasses.

Although he complained, he didn't refuse and climbed up. Sneaking past the non-vigilant guards was easy. Finally, the interior of the shelter came into view.
