Take care of them or risk flooding the entire Tower] [The pipes are leaking fix it before it burst into the lounges and leak out and poison your customer. You're scared?, Yes, you better be] Seth stared at this stack of messages. “what the fuck!” *** Melvin was your average guy on earth. No drama. No excitement. He had worked as the manager of an establishment that paid close to nothing yet he enjoyed living his boring, repetitive life—until he dropped dead from exhaustion and woke up in another realm, another body. In other words, he had transmigrated. But that wasn't even the worst part. He had transmigrated into a novel he once read—and not as the protagonist, not even as side character, but as the unfortunate extra. Seth Wavemert. Seth was the son of a duke who had failed to awaken his mage affinity, then he was cast away to an abandoned Tower. A character who had lived and died there without ever getting a moment of glory, unlike his favoured siblings who thrived under the spotlight. He was a forgotten existence. But Melvin didn't want that fate. He had sworn to make the Wavemert family regret their action—and as if the universe was on his side, he was granted the golden finger every transmigrator dreamed of. A system. [Awakening] [Occupation system online] [Occupation found : Tower keeper] But instead of a powerful magic system or something truly overpowered, what he got was a…management system. A system that help him rebuild the old tower and turn it into an establishment. A establishment meant to host not just humans, but mages, elves, and all kind of strange species seeking rest, entertainment. “Is this it…? Well, I can do it. Better than rotting in a dungeon.” Melvin had agreed to run the tower, and if he could attract enough customer and build his reputation, this place could eventually become the greatest establishment in the world. At least—that was what he thought But reality wasn't nearly as kind. Endless daily complaints flooded his vision. The pressure of sitting across powerful mages who could kill, with their flick of their fingers. Or the staff that seemed determined to test his sanity. Nevertheless, that pest that refuse to disappear. Or an entire twelve-floor Towers to manage, each level carrying it's own problems and importance. This wasn't a management. It was survival. Was Melvin daily life going to go as he had planned, or would it become chaotic than his old life on earth. Or would he actually preferred the dungeon instead. Follow Melvin now turned Seth on his journey as we explore his daily life in another world. ******* Slice of life? yes!, you should expect slice of life actually it basically based on it. Adventure?, yeah you should expect chaotic yet interesting adventure. Romance?, yes slow burn and even flirting. Comedy?, yes you can expect the crazy ways. Please guys this novel is an entry to WPC 2026, I would be glad if you people help me rise my book to the top. Please leave a review.

Chapter 1 - Transmigrated as an extra

The light spread across the vast land, casting a warm glow over the ancient estate and everything beneath it, the stables, the garden, the training grounds.

As the sun finally rose, it's rays slipped through the window and fell across a young man's face. He stirred sightly, his body moving almost mechanically. A low groan escaped him as he shifted, his eyes still closed.

A few seconds later he opened them.

The moment his eyes snapped open, confusion filled his gaze. Everything around him felt unreal—like a dream.

Yet he remained still.

To him it had to be a dream.

He shut his eyed again for a few seconds, then reopened them, hoping the strange dream would disappear.

Yet nothing changed.

The old brick wall stood before him.

The room remained exactly as it was, unmoving, almost as if it were starring back at him.

With a conflicted breath, he shot up into a seating position, and looked around.

'What the hell!' he cursed.

This wasn't how his room looked last night before he went to sleep.

"Where the hell am I?"

He stood up from the bed, his confusion deepening.

Everything seemed weird—even his clothes were different. Instead of his Batman night shirt, he was wearing something old-fashioned—-a robe!

It was soft, clean, and finely made, with golden embroidery running from the neckline down to the sleeves and hem.

None of it made sense.

Not a single part of it.

But one thing was clear—this wasn't a dream.

He slowly scanned the room, taking in every detail; the wall stone, the old books, the wooden door, the window—and beyond it, a vast stretch of land rolling into distant hills.

Nothing like the city he once lived in.

'i hope this isn't what I think it is!' he wailed inward.

Without further hesitation he rushed towards a small mirror standing in the corner.

"No…no…no!" The words slipped out as he stared at his reflection.

The face looking back at him…. wasn't his.

He had been transmigrated.

The realization hit him hard.

Which meant this wasn't earth anymore.

This was something else—-something closer to a medieval world.

So it's real.. webtoons, manga all of it.

He ran a hand over his new face, studying it carefully.

The boy in the mirror had a lean build, no older than eighteen. Long dark hair framed a pale face, and sharp green eyes stared back at him. His appearance was refined, almost noble—like someone born into a noble family.

There was something wrong with his skin.

Then suddenly—

A sharp pain pierced his head.

It wasn't just pain.

It was a memory.

The flood of information rushed in, lasting several minutes. When it finally stopped, he gasped.

"How…?"

He stared at his reflection again, his hand trembled slightly.

'So this is him…'

Anyone hearing him would have thought he'd gone mad.

But he hadn't.

From the memories he had received, he understood everything.

He had transmigrated, he knew that.

But he hadn't just transmigrated.

He had transmigrated into a novel.

His favorite one.

Mage world.

And worse…

He wasn't the main character.

He was Seth Wavemert—-a useless side character who was doomed from the start, even before the story began.

Seth had been born into a noble family—the son of a Duke, the seventh child from the third wife. His mother had died during childbirth, leaving him with nothing but faint remarks that he resembled her.

But that resemblance meant nothing to the Duke or the Wavemert family.

They didn't bully him.

They simply ignore him.

Neglected him, as if he doesn't exist.

Everything worsened when he failed to awaken any magical affinity.

In a family of powerful mages, he became an outcast.

An embarrassment.

The only Wavemert who couldn't use magic.

The insult came. The whispers followed.

Then when he couldn't take it anymore he drank poison.

And died.

'That made sense.' Melvin thought. 'He was found poisoned at the beginning of the novel… then after they rescued him he was sent to the Tower as a punishment.

He looked at the reflection again, his expression complicated.

He wasn't an emotional person—but even he felt a trace of pity.

He had always been alone.

In this world, strength was everything.

And Seth had none.

This world, Eviara was ruled by kingdoms, cities, and powerful families.

The one, he stood in now was Veira kingdom, the oldest and most dominant in the realm.

Unlike earth this realm was filled with magic.

At certain age, people awakened and became mages. They ventured into dungeons filled with beast, monsters and creatures far beyond human imagination.

The Wavemert family stood among the most ambitious mages.

Feared.

Respected.

Descendants of the legendary mages.

Everyone inherited that power, everyone except Seth.

Melvin sighed, disappointment clear in his face.

"I was supposed to be the main character… not some side character destined for nothing"

Before he could think further.

The door burst open.

A woman stepped in, followed by two men dressed in leather armor.

She was tall and elegant, with blonde hair and cold black eyes. Her gown carried the same golden pattern as his robe.

Melvin immediately recognized her.

Lady Helen.

The Duke first wife..

And the two men—were wavemert mages.

From Seth memories, Helen had always despised him. She was his mother's sister and also the first wife, yet she blamed him for her sister death.

She never talked to him.

Never even looked at him without disgust.

Now, her gaze locked on him.

Sharp. Cold.

Melvin met her stare calmly.

He could find himself become angry at her.

'You evil witch'

Her lips twitched slightly.

'How dare he look at me like that?' Lady Helen thought.

After a brief silence, she spoke softly to the mages beside her: "Take him out"

The two men stepped forward, raising their hands as they began to chant.

Melvin eyes widened.

It was the first time he was witnessing it with his eyes but, he could also spell something was wrong.

Before he could react, a blast of blue energy shot forward and struck his chest.

"What the—-"

His vision blurred instantly. His body gave in.

But before everything went dark.

A voice echoed in his mind.

[Awakening…]

[Occupation system online]

[Occupation found; Tower keeper]

"Huh!"

Well that was all what he heard before everything went blank.
