Joe's POV
The entire pack was in chaos.
I had barely stepped into the royal meeting chamber when Ivan stormed in, his face pale.
"They're missing, People keep going missing. Men, women, children, Guards " he said breathlessly. "Old people... all gone. And Joe…"
He didn't have to finish the sentence. My wolf already knew something was wrong. It's been days since it was like this
Within minutes, we were standing before the bloodied poles of the northern quarters. I stared up at them, four heads hung like trophies. Pack members. Innocent people. The kind who trusted me to protect them.
My fists clenched.
This had never happened in Dark Shades before.
I issued the order immediately. "Shut down the borders. Search every inch of this land. Door to door, cellar to roof. Leave nothing unchecked. If there are any lebanon pack members in here, i need to find them"
The guards scrambled. For the rest of the day, nothing turned up. No leads. No signs. No trail.
