Chapter 190. FTK Steals the Opponent's Entire Deck and Hand in One Turn (Part 2)! The Infinite Loop Finally Breaks the Old-Guard
Leo swallowed hard.
He compared what he was seeing to the Morphtronic deck he used to play.
His expression grew more and more complicated.
What was going on?
With his Morphtronics, pulling out Power Tool Dragon after a whole line of plays was already the limit.
But in this short video, just two copies of Morphtronic Telefon had led to a ridiculous board like this.
Worse yet, it felt like they were only halfway through.
"Damn! Are we sure this is really the power of Morphtronics?"
"Starting from a single Telefon."
"And now it's already…"
After venting, Leo shook his head to calm down.
He looked back at the video.
At this point, the Master Duel trickster's field had:
Two copies of Morphtronic Telefon.
One Magical Citadel of Endymion as the Field Spell.
In the Extra Monster Zone, one Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians.
As a utility body, one T.G. Hyper Librarian.
In the back row, two Continuous Spells: Infinite Cards to remove the hand size limit, and Spell Economics so LP payments for Spells weren't needed.
The combo continued.
Master Duel Trickster: "Turn continues, I activate the effect of Magical Citadel. I remove counters to Special Summon Endymion, the Master Magician from the Graveyard. Endymion's effect, I add Ancient Leaf back from the Graveyard. Activate Ancient Leaf—free payment—draw 2 cards. Endymion effect: discard 1 to destroy Selene. Move all of Selene's counters to the Field Spell. In the GY, PSY-Framelord Omega's effect returns itself and Saryuja Skull Dread to the Extra Deck. On the field, my second Morphtronic Telefon and Endymion Synchro Summon PSY-Framelord Omega! Hyper Librarian's effect, draw 1! My first Telefon activates—roll the die to revive the second Telefon! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters to revive Endymion from the GY! Endymion again adds Ancient Leaf, then I activate it to draw 2! My first Telefon, T.G. Hyper Librarian, PSY-Framelord Omega, and Endymion Link Summon! Link-4 Saryuja Skull Dread! Saryuja effect, draw 4 and return 3! Saryuja effect, Special Summon the third Telefon from my hand! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, revive Endymion! In the GY, Omega's effect returns itself and Selene to the Extra Deck. Endymion adds Ancient Leaf back and I activate it to draw 2! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, revive a second Endymion from the GY! Endymion adds Ancient Leaf back and I activate it to draw 2! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, Special Summon a third Endymion! Endymion adds Ancient Leaf—activate, draw 2!! My third Telefon and Endymion Synchro Summon PSY-Framelord Omega! My second Telefon activates—roll to revive the first Telefon! Endymion, Omega, and Saryuja Link Summon Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, revive Endymion! Endymion adds Ancient Leaf—activate, draw 2! Spell Card—Margin Trading! You can discard 1 card to negate this effect. If you don't, we each look through the other's Deck and pick 1 card, then each adds the card from our own Deck chosen by the opponent to our hand."
Galaxy-Eyes Player: "I won't discard."
Master Duel Trickster: "Good, then let's start checking and choosing."
It was a for-fun showcase.
Naturally the opponent played along and chose not to discard.
But as the two of them started looking through each other's Decks, duelists across every world felt their hearts sink.
They had already realized something was off.
No way.
He wouldn't—
Is he planning to use this card to learn every single card left in the opponent's Deck?
And then—
Could that be tied to how he's going to seize the opponent's cards afterward?
With that thought, duelists around the worlds wore grim looks.
One minute.
Three minutes.
Five minutes.
Time ticked by.
At this point, the old-guard duelists collectively tilted.
Picking a single card from the opponent's Deck doesn't take that long.
Obviously, he was reading the whole Deck.
After a while, the selections were done.
Master Duel Trickster: "Okay, done choosing! I activate Endymion's effect on the field—discard 1 to destroy Selene. Magical Citadel removes 6 counters to revive the third Endymion from the GY. Endymion's effect adds Foolish Burial from the GY. In the GY, PSY-Framelord Omega returns itself and Selene to the Deck. On the field, one Endymion plus my second Telefon Synchro Summon PSY-Framelord Omega! My first Telefon activates—roll to revive the second Telefon! I activate Spell Card—Lullaby of Obedience! I pay 2000 LP, but thanks to Spell Economics I don't actually pay! Then I declare your Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring! Your Ash Blossom is added to my hand! Activate a second Lullaby of Obedience! Declare your Ash Blossom—add it to my hand! Activate a third Lullaby of Obedience! Your third Ash Blossom—added to my hand! PSY-Framelord Omega and two Endymions Link Summon! Link-3—Selene, Queen of the Master Magicians! Activate Spell—D.D. Designator! I declare Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. If it's in your hand, it's banished!"
No doubt about it.
It would definitely be there—
Because thanks to Margin Trading, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon was the card he had selected to hand the opponent.
And by confirming it now, he'd also get another look at everything else the opponent was holding.
It was over.
Truly over.
He'd basically memorized the opponent's Deck.
He'd seen every card in their hand as well.
Now the real "seizure" would begin.
Master Duel Trickster: "Magical Citadel removes 6 counters to Special Summon Endymion! Endymion adds D.D. Designator back to my hand! I activate D.D. Designator again, declare Photon Vanisher—banish it from your hand! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters to Special Summon a second Endymion! Endymion adds D.D. Designator back to my hand! I activate D.D. Designator again, declare Nebula Dragon—banish it! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters to Special Summon a third Endymion! Endymion adds D.D. Designator back to my hand! I activate D.D. Designator again, declare Photon Jumper—banish it! Endymion's effect: discard to destroy Selene, then move the counters to the Field Spell. In the GY, PSY-Framelord Omega and Selene return to the Extra Deck. I Synchro Summon with my first Telefon and Endymion—PSY-Framelord Omega! My second Telefon activates—roll to revive the first Telefon! Two Endymions and Omega Link Summon Selene again! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, Special Summon Endymion! Endymion adds D.D. Designator back to hand! I activate D.D. Designator—declare Galaxy Wizard—banish it! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, Special Summon a second Endymion! Endymion adds D.D. Designator back to hand! I activate D.D. Designator—declare Galaxy Summoner—banish it!"
Galaxy Summoner, Galaxy Wizard, Photon Jumper, Nebula Dragon, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, Photon Vanisher—
Six hand cards.
All banished.
At this point, the infinite loop and the true "seizure" had silently begun.
First target: the opponent's hand.
Seeing this, the old-guard duelists across the worlds were too numb to speak.
They held their breath, watching what came next.
And they already realized which card would be used to seize the Deck itself.
That's right.
Lullaby of Obedience.
Master Duel Trickster: "Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, Special Summon Endymion! Endymion adds Lullaby of Obedience back to my hand! I activate Lullaby of Obedience, declare your Galaxy Summoner, and add it to my hand! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, Special Summon a second Endymion! Endymion adds Lullaby back to my hand! I activate Lullaby, declare your Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, and add it to my hand! Magical Citadel removes 6 counters, Special Summon a third Endymion! Endymion adds Lullaby back to my hand! I activate Lullaby, declare your Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon, and add it to my hand! Endymion effect—discard to destroy Selene! In the GY, PSY-Framelord Omega and Selene return to the Deck!"
Of course.
He really was using Lullaby of Obedience to keep declaring and stripping the opponent's monsters straight out of their Deck.
At this moment, the whole reason for running this combo—and the infinite loop—was fully revealed.
The group chat exploded.
Yugi Muto: "Whoa! Who could even come up with a build like this? Endymion loops into endless revival and recycle?"
Jaden Yuki: "No way, he really can take the opponent's Deck cards! And with all those counters, the Field Spell never runs out of gas!"
Yusei Fudo: "I see. Omega, the two Telefons, and Selene are freeing zones and stockpiling counters."
Yuma Tsukumo: "What the heck! What kind of genius thinks this stuff up? Infinite cycling, infinite theft! This is unbeatable!"
Only now did the old-guard finally understand how the build functioned.
They also finally understood what each card did—and the key effect combinations.
Infinite Cards and Lullaby of Obedience, with Spell Economics removing LP costs.
If a declaration missed, just declare again.
That's the arrogance of an infinite loop.
Even if your memory slips, blind guesses will still hit sooner or later.
But then everyone realized a new problem.
What about Spell and Trap Cards?
Lullaby can only declare monsters.
A Galaxy-Eyes Deck is sure to run Spells and Traps.
Master Duel Trickster: "I activate three Spells—three copies of Gift Exchange! Both players banish 1 card face-down from their own Deck, and during this End Phase each player adds to their hand the card their opponent banished with this effect. Then, Magical Citadel removes 18 counters to Special Summon three Endymions! All three Endymions add Gift Exchange back to my hand, and I activate them again!"
What the—
If Lullaby couldn't seize Spells/Traps, then he'd use Gift Exchange to seize them.
And he still had more follow-ups.
The Galaxy-Eyes list didn't run many back-row cards.
With the remaining Deck count, the trickster could go card-for-card in exchanges until he got them all.
But there was a catch, right?
At a glance, it didn't look like "taking everything," since the cards you banished would be given to your opponent in the End Phase.
Wasn't that just swapping?
Master Duel Trickster: "I banish LIGHT and DARK from my GY to Special Summon Black Luster Soldier – Envoy of the Beginning! I activate three Spells—Primal Seed! While BLS is on the field, I can add two of my banished cards back to my hand. Then, Magical Citadel removes 18 counters to Special Summon three Endymions! All three Endymions add Primal Seed back, and I keep activating it!"
…What.
He could even use that card to recover the cards he himself had banished.
At this point, the infinite loop had completely seized every card from the opponent's Deck into his own hand.
To salt the wound, he didn't even have to leave his cards with the opponent.
Amazing.
Absolutely amazing.
But what about the banished zone?
Those original hand cards were still banished….
Master Duel Trickster: "I activate Endymion, discard to destroy itself! Magical Citadel removes counters to revive Endymion again! Endymion adds Primal Seed back! My first Telefon and PSY-Framelord Omega Synchro Summon Power Tool Braver Dragon! My second Telefon activates—roll to revive the first Telefon! My second Telefon and Braver Dragon Synchro Summon Red Rose Dragon! I activate Spell—Double Summon! I Normal Summon Necroface! Its effect returns all banished cards for both players to their owners' Decks. So the original hand cards you lost to D.D. Designator also go back into your Deck! Next, I continue with three more Lullaby of Obedience!"
In that instant, every world fell into stunned silence.
Seriously?
He even accounted for retrieving the banished zone?
Is this still a Duel?
Is this even human?
