On the vast and magnificent sea, dozens of large Marine warships were sailing at top speed towards Egghead Island. Upon receiving news of the Beasts Pirates' appearance on the island, the Marines and the World Government were terrified; even the Gorosei had uncharacteristically lost their composure.
As a result, they quickly assembled a fleet of twenty-five warships—a force on a scale far exceeding a Buster Call. This massive fleet was led by Admiral Kizaru, ten Vice-Admirals, and two members of CP0. But the most frightening aspect was that Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, the God of Science and Defense, had personally left Mary Geoise to join the hunt.
Inside a private room on the leading warship, Saint Saturn sat with an aura of absolute authority. Beside him were Admiral Kizaru and Rob Lucci of CP0.
Saturn's cold gaze fell upon the Admiral. "Borsalino, if I recall correctly, Sentomaru was supposed to be in charge of protecting Vegapunk."
Kizaru remained characteristically calm as he replied, "Hmm… logically, that's correct. But just three days ago, we received reports that Straw Hat Luffy appeared on the Sabaody Archipelago. Under CP0's command, the Marines were ordered to assist in his capture. Due to a shortage of combat power, Sentomaru had no choice but to participate with the Pacifista."
Saturn turned his icy gaze toward Rob Lucci, causing the CP0 agent to break out in a cold sweat.
"That's right," Lucci stammered, trying to justify the decision. "We judged Straw Hat Luffy's danger to be no less than Kaido's. He is the son of Dragon, the Revolutionary leader, and Red-Haired Shanks is his guide. We thought if we could capture him, perhaps we could…"
Lucci trailed off, unable to speak further under Saturn's terrifying pressure. Fortunately, the Gorosei did not pursue the matter and instead asked for a status update on the island.
"The Den Den Mushi signal has been blocked again," Lucci answered awkwardly.
"So, Kaido intentionally lured us there?" Saturn mused.
At the mention of Kaido's name, Lucci took a sharp breath. Ever since he felt Kaido's overwhelming Haki from Wano Country two years ago—a power that seemed to cover the entire New World—he had harbored a deep fear of the legendary Emperor.
Kizaru spoke up to clarify. "Although the messages were brief, we know Kaido himself has not appeared on Egghead. Instead, the four top executives of the Beasts Pirates are there."
"Is King among them?" Saturn asked.
"Yes," Kizaru confirmed.
"Good," Saturn said with chilling confidence. "Then we'll take this opportunity to bring the last bloodline of the Lunarians under the World Government's control."
While Lucci felt excited by those words, Kizaru looked concerned. "Is that so? If Kaido happens to show up, it might be a bit troublesome."
Saturn snorted with disdain. "If he isn't there, so be it. If he is, then let him experience the true power of a God."
Kizaru's expression hardened at the statement. Before he could respond, Saturn issued a direct order. "The ships are too slow, Borsalino. You go first. With your light-speed abilities, even if Kaido appears, he won't be able to catch you."
Kizaru scratched his head, looking a bit troubled. "Alright then, this old man will go ahead."
On the edge of Egghead Island, Enel and Jack the Drought stood guard. The Beasts Pirates were busy dismantling important machinery and loading it onto their ships. Over the last two years, the two had grown much closer. Enel was now considered family to King's wife, Conis, and as such, King took great care of him.
Jack, now a father himself, had matured significantly. Though twelve years younger than Enel, he spoke to him as an equal.
"Among our crew, besides the younger ones like Ulti, it seems only you haven't married yet, Enel," Jack noted.
Enel shrugged indifferently. "What about Queen?"
"Big Brother Queen is completely focused on his experiments," Jack replied. "But you…" Jack stopped, not wanting to be annoying.
To his surprise, Enel became slightly shy. "I do have an idea, but I don't know if Big Brother Kaido will agree."
"What is it?"
"What do you think about me capturing a Celestial Dragon to be my wife?"
Even though Jack knew Enel could be childishly unreliable, the idea left him stunned.
"Don't those World Nobles call themselves gods?" Enel said nonchalantly. "Capturing a god to be the wife of a true god like me seems quite fitting for my status."
Jack didn't know how to respond. "You should probably ask Big Brother Kaido about that."
"I'll ask him when I get back!"
Suddenly, both men sensed a presence on the horizon.
"They're here," Jack said coldly. "Kizaru is yours; I'll handle the rest."
Enel nodded. His body shimmered with electricity as he transformed into a bolt of lightning and shot into the sky. Seeing the dense golden light approaching, he raised his hand as thunder crackled around him.
"Discharge: Thunder Beast!"
Bolts of lightning erupted from his hand, shaping themselves into fierce beasts that sprinted through the air. In an instant, the blue lightning collided with Kizaru's golden lasers. The sky flashed with light as blue thunder beasts fought golden light clones.
Amidst the chaos, Enel intercepted a ray of light. Kizaru, who had planned to sneak onto the island unnoticed, suddenly found Enel blocking his path.
The Admiral felt a surge of unease. Through his Observation Haki, he perceived a terrifying aura emanating from Enel—one that made even a Marine Admiral feel unsettled. Then, Kizaru saw a sight that caused him to panic.
On Enel's right foot, three distinct colors of lightning flashed: the blue of his Rumble-Rumble Fruit, the black of Armament Haki, and the red of Conqueror's Haki.
"Hey, Admiral Kizaru, where do you think you're going?" Enel smirked. "You're staying right here with me!"
