Chapter 264 - Chapter 264: Tremor Fruit

In an instant, Enel's lightning-enhanced kick slammed into Kizaru's guard. The air exploded as blue electricity, red-black streaks of Conqueror's Haki, and golden lasers collided in a blinding display of power. For the first time in two years, Kizaru's eyes were filled with genuine solemnity as he stared at the man known as the "Lightning Disaster."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, what is this?" Kizaru muttered, his voice trailing off as the sheer force of the blow sent him hurtling backward.

Mid-air, the Admiral transformed into a flurry of golden light particles to cushion the impact before reforming. He hovered in the sky, looking at Enel with a newfound wariness. "This is truly terrifying," Kizaru drawled. "If I'm not mistaken, that was Conqueror's Haki just now—and infused into your attack, no less. It seems the Beasts Pirates have too many Emperors in their ranks."

"No... Admiral," Enel replied, his voice echoing through the sky. "The Beasts Pirates have only one Emperor, and that is our Governor: Big Brother Kaido".

The two stood facing each other—a clash between the world's most powerful Logia-type Devil Fruits: the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and the Glint-Glint Fruit. Realizing words would not clear his path to the island, Kizaru summoned a blade of pure light.

"Ama no Murakumo!" he intoned, the golden sword shimmering in his hand as he finally took the fight seriously.

Enel met the challenge with a grin. He spun his golden staff, now coated in a deep, metallic black Armament Haki, as lightning crackled along its length. They both vanished simultaneously, reappearing in a violent collision of light and thunder. The sky roared as golden sparks and blue bolts scattered across the horizon. The shockwaves were so intense that the sea grew dark, the winds began to howl, and the massive pirate ships anchored at the shore began to rock violently.

On the coast of Egghead Island, Jack the Drought ignored the duel in the sky. He watched his crew frantically loading machines and top-secret data onto their vessels. "As expected of Vegapunk," Jack muttered. "The things he creates are even more impressive than Queen's."

A dark shadow flickered at his feet as a messenger appeared. "Lord Jack, Queen has sent orders. You must stop the Marines from landing. He found something massive and needs more time to secure it."

"Leave it to me!" Jack growled, his veins bulging with effort. He grabbed a Den Den Mushi and barked an order to the entire fleet. "All Beasts Pirates, listen up! Hold on to anything you can! I'm about to make a move."

Jack leaped onto the stern of the final ship, his gaze fixed on the approaching Marine fleet. Then, he performed a feat that made cold sweat trickle down the foreheads of both Kizaru and the observing Vegapunk. Jack gripped the very air itself, his hands glowing with a strange, white spherical light.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa..." Kizaru stammered, his composure finally breaking.

A crisp cracking sound echoed through the atmosphere—the sound of the sky being torn apart. The sea began to churn as a massive wave, over 100 meters high, rose from the depths and rushed toward the Marine coastline with an aura of pure destruction.

"How is this possible?" Kizaru gasped. "That's Whitebeard's monster ability!".

Enel laughed, pointing a finger toward the Admiral. A spark of blue lightning gathered at his fingertip, but it was surrounded by that same terrifying white glow Jack had used. "Hey, Admiral, want to see one more surprise? Super Vibration Electromagnetic Cannon!"

The resulting light was so dazzling that the entire sky seemed to lose its color.

Back in the laboratory, the clones of Vegapunk watched the screen in utter shock. "How is that possible?" York cried out. "That's the Tremor-Tremor Fruit ability!"

Vegapunk's expression was grim. "Have they already deciphered the truth of the world?".

King looked at the scientist coldly. "You can find out when we get to Wano Country. Now, hand over the method for creating the Mother Flame and come with us. If you refuse, I'll sink this entire island."

The threat made everyone in the room tremble. King's past with Vegapunk meant he felt no sympathy for the scientist's plight. Vegapunk sighed, asking for a few minutes to broadcast a final message to the world regarding the truth of history. King checked with Kaido via Den Den Mushi and granted the request.

Suddenly, a gunshot rang out.

Vegapunk gasped, blood blooming across his chest as he collapsed to the floor. Behind him stood York, holding a smoking pistol with a crazed expression.

"What are you doing, York?" the other clones screamed in horror.

"I'm stopping him!" York roared. "I know what the original wants to do! If I stop him, the Five Elders in Mary Geoise will let me become a Celestial Dragon!".

As York celebrated her betrayal, the satellite Lilith looked at her with pity. "I see. So it really was you, York."

York's face twisted in confusion. "What do you mean 'really me'?"

"That's right, York," a voice interrupted. On a nearby electronic screen, the image of Vegapunk appeared, looking calm. "I have known for a long time that there was a traitor among the clones I created".
