On the very day of the banquet at Liu Mansion, Susu got up early.
Susu usually has breakfast before dressing and grooming, so after Susu washed up, the kitchen sent breakfast over.
Now, there was only Susu in the house, and she had instructed not to be overly lavish, so besides a small bowl of bird's nest porridge with rock sugar, there were two salty and sweet snacks: a plate of tofu skin buns and a dessert made with milk butter and pine nut sugar filling, plus two small plates of pickles.
The snacks were all made petite, with only four on each plate. Susu wasn't even half full after eating them. Frequent restroom visits during the banquet were quite irregular, and Susu certainly wouldn't let this become a handle for others, for today a tough battle awaited her.
