Simon Forrester, who was drinking water, coughed lightly, "It's just a coincidence."
Maeve didn't press further and instead asked, "I've really been missing Sienna these past couple of days. Can I stay with her for a night tonight?"
"Of course, feel free."
Perhaps because of Maeve's presence, Sienna Thornton was much more lively than usual, and the two of them were telling nonsensical jokes. The light-heartedness and liveliness danced playfully across Sienna's delicate and beautiful face.
Simon Forrester composed himself and took his gaze back, grabbed a tissue nearby to wipe his mouth, and said, "I have to go out for a while. Take your time eating."
"Alright, take care, Mr. Forrester." Maeve was polite, while Sienna Thornton remained silent.
Seeing Simon Forrester leave in a suit, Maeve guessed he was going to work and felt sure that Simon Forrester had planned to stay home to accompany Sienna, but because Maeve came, he only returned to the design firm after lunch.
